Morris: He might, but at the moment his voters are those that can’t decide which they don’t like more – a black or a woman getting elected. And..

Morris: I’m saying a lot of his voters are there because they don’t want a woman and they don’t want a black.
Colmes: So his voters are bigots is what you’re saying.

Morris: And if Edwards withdrew God only knows where they’d go.
Boy oh boy. Who do I dislike more: Women or Blacks? What a quandary us Edwards supporters must be in. How ridiculous!

Dick Morris is so jaded, so cynical, so bitter that I almost feel sorry for him. Almost. I think what he said reflects more of his own views, not others. He’s the one who can’t deal with a woman or black man. He can’t deal with a woman. Unless he’s sucking on her (paid for) toes.
I didn’t support John Edwards because I don’t like women or blacks. LOL.
He’s really lousy at what he does. He claims he’s a professional. He’s an amateur.

Alan, I can’t stomach your network or partner, so it was sheer coincidence that I caught you confronting Morris as I was flipping between CNN and MSNBC. I was proud of you to call him, instantly, on his BS.
Thanks. That kind of stuff simply has no place in our political discourse anymore. Morris and his subconscious bigotry laying so close to the surface can never be allowed to simply hang out there without being challenged. The fact that so many times on FOX such things pass as conventional wisdom is why I don’t watch FOX.
And yes, I changed channels when you went to commercial, disgusted (but not with you). Knowing there is at least one host there who has evolved beyond the average Neanderthal may force me to come back once in a while to watch — especially since I always read your blog. Let us know when Sean plays hookie. The show has got to be so much better then.

Alan, as I told you before… I was just outraged that Mr. Morris Online said this. It was completely racist and bigoted. It was hate speech and should not be welcomed on your air. I hope to see Fox do the right thing and not allow Mr. Morris to pollute, sell propaganda movies, or advertise his website on their airwaves. BTW… I didn’t see H&C promoting “Fahrenheit 9/11″ the way they are promoting Mr. Morris’ movie.
