• Highlights of tonight’s Democratic Presidential Debate in Los Angeles.
Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY), a Clinton supporter, joins Alan with reaction to the debate.

• More fallout from the McCain-Romney brawl at last night’s GOP debate.

  1. “The chief problem of American political life for a long time has been how to make the two Congressional parties more national and international. The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead the two parties should be almost identical, so the that American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.” Quigley, 1247-1248

  2. All presidential candidates except Ron Paul are active members of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Why not talk about the implications of this Alan?

  3. I think if it’s Hillary vs McCain, it will be like Clinton vs Dole. McCain will get smashed because he is nothing but Dull.
