  1. Well Alan I would sure love to hear the show but KTLK just dropped your show. Do you or anyone have a list of radio stations that stream it? Otherwise it was nice listening to you. :(

  2. Carrie: if you go to this site, you will see a blue link to the right of Alan’s picture that says “great radio stations across America”. Clicking on that link will take you to a box where you can select your state and select “Alan Colmes Show” and then it will show you the stations in your state that carry the show.

  3. (and there’s a link underneath, on the Fox page linked above, that let you listen live 10 to 1).
(plus a podcast link on the bottom of that page).

  4. Alan,

A long time ago I told you your website was kind of blah with no color. Well I think it’s only right that I tell you know that this simple switch over makes all the difference! it looks great :)

  5. Regarding mittens quitting, I don’t know whether I heard this online or on tv, but word is, that mittens went ahead and quit, gave a stump speech to be remembered by, assumes McCrazy will lose to the dems, then mittens can run again in 4 years. Makes sense to me. Thought I’d pass it along.

  6. think about this alan….

Right-wing radio hosts get the most of their matierial from what the left wing does wrong

If the person who they want to get elected,in fact, gets elected, its bad radio…..because its not like agreeing with themselves gets them more listeners

but if Hilary gets elected, then they have someone to point the finger at for at least 4 years

but since they are distancing themselves from McCain, they can still point there finger at him

honestly, what would conservative talk show hosts talk about everday if this was a pure conservative, right wing, no liberal nation

    they would have no listeners!

thank god its not and never will be

  7. Seriously people. How free are you when all the candidates to a “free” election ALL belong to the SAME group. On both sides!

There were a few candidates on television that weren’t CFR members, but they never got the coverage and frequently were attacked. Ron Paul was a great example of this. I have reached the conclusion also that many pundits didn’t like Paul because he actually represented change, and with that would be adios with their jobs. LIE CHEAT AND STEAL folks, cause if you wait your turn, you will be left in line.

  8. I love when Alan does a running commentary during someone’s speech, especially just before, Romney’s speech. Oh that was so funny! Oh God Almighty I needed that. Even without humour I love the wisdom and intelligence of Alan’s responses.

No I am not buttering up Alan. This is entirely selfish on my part as I need the above like medicine. It also gets me high.

  9. In this era of bitter partisanship, I find it heartening to hear Michael Savage and Alan Colmes in full agreement on one thing.

Both gentlemen took time out of their radio shows tonight to offer a few thoughtful Valentine’s Day tips. You can imagine that two weighty intellects would have some pretty innovative suggestions. Likely they’ve winnowed down the usual boring old traditional gifts to some unusual and innovative things. And they have.

    The remarkable part?

These gentlemen, from opposite sides of the poitical spectrum, have selected the very same Valentine’s Day items: Vermont Teddy Bears and the Pajamagram.

It’s just like Barack Obama says…

We are the UNITED states of America.

  13. “Of course, because size does matter, he’s doing quite a bit better with the number of delegates he’s got.” — Mitt Romney

That is my favorite line from Mitt’s speech today.

  14. Damn. Ignorance thrives.

  15. I wonder what Lefty thinks about Mitt’s treatment of dogs.

  16. Carrie: We debut monday on KGIL in LA, 1260AM, live from 7PM-10PM PT.
    Crusty: They’re called commercials.

  17. Alan Colmes has shunned the likes of Ron Paul because Alan Colmes also doesn’t wan’t change, because he would then have nothing to complain about. Problems = Cash for this socialist, and I am boycotting his show and listening to music that will improve my life and exploiting his for profit blog here because ……drumroll…..

Alan Colmes doesn’t do his show because he cares about the U.S, nor does Hannity or Rush or all these assclowns. They do it for the almighty dollar. Bottom line, end of story.

Please read more America. Turn off the Radio and the Television. It is poisoning your ability to think clearly and more importantly impairing your ability to even think for yourself. I suggest starting with the author G. Edward Griffin.

  18. ^ Alan has had Ron Paul on his show many times.

Yes that would really prove that Alan loves America, by refusing his paycheck. Maybe he should just love in a cardboard box and then you’ll believe he gives a damn.

  19. ^ * “live” not love.

WE NEED A PREVIEW BUTTON ON THIS BLOG.

Thank you for taking my comment.

  20. Maybe what we need is real users instead of show staff blowing Alan for their paycheck….

  23. Yeah, I really don’t know what the problem is with supporting nationalism over globalism and collectivism…

But, then again, you likely don’t even know what the implications were behind what I just said…

  24. “Maybe what we need is real users instead of show staff blowing Alan for their paycheck….”

Gee what a fine representative you are for candidate Ron Paul. Really makes me want to vote for him.

And I won’t apologise for being an informed listener which obviously you are not.

  25. Haha. Yeah, I am not informed and I care about monetary policy and our borders…

Hope you and your kids like War because that is what we will be getting with these choices. They are all from the same GROUP! (Pres. Candidates) Why is this not a larger story, or a story at all!?

If you were half as informed as I am bud, you’d be pissed off too.

  28. I also find it funny that you choose a name such as epiphany when all you do is apparently follow the herd. I didn’t think sheep had epiphanies, otherwise we would have far less wool…

Anyways, bottom line is I want you all to go find a soul.

  29. Obviously I do not agree with your comment.

BUT I’d rather follow a herd then be in a cult.

About the soul part I will speak to a priest tomorrow. Thanks for caring.

  30. Hah, yeah. Spouting more of other people’s words I see.

Please explain to me in your own words first of what you think a cult is because I highly doubt you can do it without going to a dictionary…

So let this be a test of your own “informed” self. You who are so enlightened as to not follow the suggestions of a man to follow our Constitution. Also, a soul does not require religion or a priest so you can save the hassle.

  32. “Alan Colmes also doesn’t wan’t change, because he would then have nothing to complain about.”

So you’re posting here to complain about it.

“Alan Colmes (does) his show … for the almighty dollar.”

As Alan has himself mentioned any number of times on his radio show.

“Please read … Turn off the Radio and the Television … poisoning your ability to … think for yourself. I suggest starting with the author G. Edward Griffin.”

  33. Please explain to you in my own words…? Who are you, my new professor? Will I get a homework assignment after this post?

A cult. People who follow a charismatic leader and who are, I would say, somewhat delusional about it, buying fanatically into everything that leader says. People in a cult think they know the absolute TRUTH which cannot be disputed and that others, such as myself, can not think for themselves if we don’t agree with you. We have not seen the light. We have not had the epiphany that people like you have obviously had. And so of course we need to be converted, almost forced to see the TRUTH. It’s almost like a religious conversion that has taken place.

Because I am not a BELIEVER like you, you assume I don’t want to follow the Constitution, or I don’t really care and I’m unaware of things like 9/11 was an inside job and all the rest. You assume a lot without actually knowing me.

It is one thing to support a candidate with passion. But it is quite another thing to be so negatively agressive with your quest. It really turns people off, turns them off from listening seriously to anything you might have to say. Some of what Ron Paul says I agree with. But the fanaticism of his supporters and their insistance to believe that every detail is the truth loses you alot more support in the long wrong. Might want to rethink the strategy angle.

    Ok?

  34. Insanity and Bones is just a sanctimonious know it all who’ll condescend to every defense and challenge you make, no matter how good, and how much he looks like a prick in the way he does so. Let the ironically named kid rant. Simply skip to the author, than read past the post if it’s him.

  35. *then

  36. “supporting nationalism”

Well,I could say something about Hitler but then the whole convo would have jumped the shark.

At least I didn’t bring it up first!

Teh problem with Nationalism is it’s just the same mentality as one that drives a person to hide under their bed.

    Fear.

  37. How do you know that I am a he first off? Rather presumptuous of you. And, yes, I am vigilantly opposed to the media on all sides in American Culture and there are very few sources I trust on face value. The problem I have is pundits like Colmes playing political masquerades in which he denies that he is promoting a certain candidate and denies that he ever sways votes away from particular candidates, such as Ron Paul. Statements like “He’s never going to win.” DO have an impact on people in fact, and you can find reference to this FACT by reading, The Crowd: A Study of the Popular Mind which I will post here. This was written back in the late 1800’s and is well known, yet, Alan would have you believe that he holds no responsibility for such actions. This is why I am exploiting this blog and boycotting all of his shows, and all media in general.

    http://etext.virginia.edu/toc/modeng/public/BonCrow.html

Full Etext of The Crowd, A Study of the Popular Mind.

I am opposed to this show again because of Alan’s ongoing denial of his direct impact on what should be a free election untainted by the media. The media is only supposed to report facts, not their opinions, which is exactly why Alan Colmes should be taken off the Air immediately unless he refrains from such statements like, “He’s never going to win” which was repeated every time a person calle din support of Ron Paul, THEN he even has the balls to say on other days that you should vote for whom you think best represents your viewpoint.

So am I being irrational by speaking my mind?

    I think not.

Fear and Nationalism have no connection whatsoever. Paranoia and fear however would have a connection.

  40. Where’d all the empty space come from?

  41. Bend over, and I’ll show you.

  42. Oh, so I support Ron Paul, and that means that I believe 9/11 was an inside job? Where the fuck did that come from? If there is any conspiracy at all, it is to keep Ron Paul out of the running. Fox News even excluded him from one of the National Debates! So all you people on here that work for Fox News can shove it for being complicit in systematically disenfranchising a Presidential Candidate, and I hope YOUR children are drafted first when Uncle Sam comes knocking.

  43. Someone really wants to be heard. Ok, I’ll indulge you.

Here’s reality, Alan’s radio show isn’t marketed or presented as a non partisan show. Alan’s claim to not having influence is a statement of modesty which he should make out of respect to his listeners. Also, his commentary on Paul is based on polling data. Whatever the cause thereof, the data is what it is, and there’s nothing wrong with him forming a conclusion from it. You are basically calling a logical argument immoral because there might be a negative consequence against Paul, whom you’ve apparently ordained heir apparent to the Presidency.

  44. “So all you people on here that work for Fox News can shove it..”

  45. Or needs to stop spiking their KOOL-AID® with JD. I was wondering why there were so many comments, troll invasion.

  46. Well, I am going to have to add my two cents here.

The guy typing all that stuff does have a point as I have also noticed Alan has repeatedly made sound as a fact that Ron Paul couldn’t win the election. Basing this statement on some poll and expecting me to just take it as fact is pretty ridiculous. Don’t people cherry pick polls all the time?

“Given to exaggeration in its feelings, a crowd is only impressed
by excessive sentiments. An orator wishing to move a crowd must
make an abusive use of violent affirmations. To exaggerate, to
affirm, to resort to repetitions, and never to attempt to prove
anything by reasoning are methods of argument well known to
    speakers at public meetings.”

This was taken out of that document that was posted here, and I do see his point…

When Alan makes these claims that Ron Paul cannot win, it is a prime example of crowd manipulation. Way to be Alan…

  47. Globalism? Regionalism?

by Insanity and Bones February 8, 2008 at 3:35 am

    I support Americanism.

And the only Nationalist movement of note, was Germany’s,and it was definetly based around a core of fear. Those “evil” Jews, being the particular, then the “evil” everybody else who was keeping the “master race” down.

That’s the fear I’m talking about. We have an analogous situation today, being the fear of Muslims, even though we all live and work and interact with many Muslim individuals on a daily basis. Same as with the Germans and German Jews.

I think it’s a proper connection to make. I am not, however, making the case that the Bush administration are Nazis. So at least I’m not heading into that murky nonesense. There are some similarities, however.

  48. If the crowd, American Anarchist, is too stupid, and yes stupid is wholly deserved and appropriate, to doubt the conclusion Colmes makes, to not assume all data of credibility and worth supports it, than that crowd can’t be helped. You’re trying to expand the show beyond the capacity of what it is. Now, maybe if Alan had longer phone calls with guests and listeners, or spent more time on the subjects, what you want would be practical, but it might kill his show.

  49. correction, to stupid to assume, without there own research, time to reason, etc.

  50. Their. Pardon, I’m a bit dyslexic.

  51. I can think of one radio show that has long phone calls, and that’s one boring ass show after a short bit.
