Debate The Debate

Obama definitely took the debate. Not only did he gave good answers on everything (although it would have been nice for him to define the word liberal) but he looked good doing it. Clinton, on the other hand, made me wince twice during the debate trying (desperately) to pull some awkward punches. I mean going after Obama for denouncing instead of rejecting Louis Farrahkan was ridiculous. And having that bad hit line about “Obama wants to bomb Pakistan.” Obama brushed that right off. Sorry Clinton but you are done.
There are so many problems to deal with thanks to seven years of Bush/Cheney it is too bad Barack cannot choose Hillary as his running mate. A nice dose of moderate liberalism is just what this nation needs right now!!!!

Didn’t see the debate.
But on the Newshour, I think, I saw a brief vidclip of her on stage, and I was struck by how much she seemed to resemble the host of a weekday afternoon talk show, and I think it’s because she’s smiling way too much, and she smiles too large, and while it looks ok on Oprah it does not seem “presidential”.
Im a Democrat and the only way is how the Democrats will lose the white house is if they put Alan Colmes as a VP!!!
hahahahahahahh
but ya never know!
Turn off Alan Colmes show and listen to Don Henley. You will be much better off. Over and out.

All those reasons Obama just gave are good, but fanning the flames of “anti Americanism” is a likely consequence of any war begun by us, as many in the world have anathema to war no matter how rationalizations are attempted, so such a consequence will happen because of our association with the war.

And the past comes back to smack you around
For all the things you thought you got for free
For the arrogance to think that you could somehow
Defy the laws of gravity
These are lessons in humility
Penitence for past offenses
Consequences, consequences

Now the trouble with you and me, my friend
Is the trouble with this nation
Too many blessings, too little appreciation
