More Racism

According to Lucianne Golberg’s website (she’s the Linda Tripp enabler) this is the “2009 Inauguaral Ball as imagined by unnamed Clinton staffers.” I suppose they also think it’s funny. Nothing like invoking racist images, and blaming it on a political opponent.
In 2004, the US Marines pulled advertising from this site because of the racist nature of material appearing there, posts like these, as reported by Media Matters:
[USER POST:] Blacks are criminals….its [sic] just that simple.
[USER POST:] Give them a good flogging and they might learn some manners. It worked once.
[USER POST:] Can we go back to, “Whites Only” now?
[USER POST:] Arabs are nothing but low life cowards.
[USER POST:] … not to mention millions of illegal Mexicans milking our system and committing violent/drug related crimes.
Also no longer appearing on the site are ads for the Red Cross, Weight Watchers, the Navy, Sylvan Learning Centers, and United Airlines, among others.
So, is this just good, innocent poltical satire slamming Clinton staffers who allegedly put out the Obama “dressed” picture (even though it appeared on the Free Republic before it got to Drudge, leading one to believe it could have come from any one of a number of conservative sources)? Or is this red meat for bigots who post sick and degrading comments like those above, and are drawn to websites like this?
I don’t get why the pic was a big deal at all. so he dressed like a muslim in a muslim land “when in rome…” I don’t get the fuss but if Obama is making syuch a big deal about it maybe he has something to hide…all i know is it’s the right of the public to know as much as they can (within reason) about all of them.

I’d have to say that this sort of thing, whatever it’s intended purpose may be, is not worthy of analysis by any serious person, or anyone with even half of a functional brain.
It’s on a level with saying that we already have an African-American in the White House, and his name is George Bush, because, according to the New York Post, (28Oct2007, p3) he’s an 11th cousin of Barack Obama.
The same article, perhaps more aptly, claims George is 32nd cousins to Vlad the Impaler, also known as Vlad Dracul, aka Dracula.

The pictures are of no special importance out of context, but in the context of praying upon fear, bigotry, ignorance, etc., they hava a lot of use, bad use.

Is that what the article says? My understanding is that he had the Title of Dracula, meaning son of the Dragon or Devil, and that his father was titled as Dracul. Vlad Tsepish.

If those folks in that picture were part of “W”s cabinet today, we just might be better off! I’d take them over the crooked, lying, cheating, lazy and generally useless administration we have today.

If that were indeed “the inaugural ball”, there’d be a lot better quality dancing going on – of that we can be certain!
Isn’t all this just schoolboy stuff? Somebody needs to grow up. There are important issues at stake for goodness sake!!

I’d like Alan to ask her son Jonah “Liberal Facism” Goldberg what he thinks of that item. Of course he will defend it. Sickening Sickening Sickening. But at least they reveal their true colors (no pun intended). It will get worse.
And kudos to John McCain for doing the right thing in reference to that piece of pond scum Bill Cunningham. I’m trying to be nice here. I’m trying… trying… don’t type it….. ok. It’s hard censoring myself sometimes.
Although I have to ask, what the hell were they expecting? Bill Hussein Cunningham.

Lucianne Goldberg is Jonah Goldberg’s mother. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
I know Mr. Colmes doesn’t like to talk about the parallels between modern American conservatives and the Nazis but really, hate is what everything else these people are about springs from. Substitute Mexican, Black, Jew, Arab, gay, athiest, Frenchman, Muslim or whatever … nothing ever changes. It’s their hate that binds them together in their common cause.
As if we needed any further demonstrations of the historical parallels, give a listen to the Bill Cunningham intro for John McCain in Ohio today? I almost expected Cunningham to throw his hand in the air with the old Nazi salute and scream the praises of hyper-nationalism.
These people are more than a joke. They’re dangerous. They’re the seeds of a greater evil.

W F G: Hmmm, well you’re right, I’ve got father and son conflated, and the Post only specifies “Vlad the Impaler (aka Dracula)”, so that should be Tepes. (And to tell the truth, the NY Post is something of a tabloid, though of somewhat higher stature than the National Enquirer. For the article they quote the genealogy website Ancestry.com.)
