  • “I’m not gay-bashing but…that is not the right kind of lifestyle.”
  • “It’s the death-knell for this country.”
  • “It’s the biggest threat…even more so than terrorism or Islam…”
  • “They’re going after our young children, as young as two years of age.”
  • “Gays are infiltrating city councils.”
  • “It spreads, and this stuff…will destroy our young people; it will destroy this nation.”

News9 in Oklahoma City has an interview with Kern, and a video of her reacting to the youtube above.

  1. At the risk of running afoul of Godwin’s Law, just listen to that speech and substitute the word “gay” with the word “Jew”.

Then get up, put on your shoes and walk down to the burnt out shell of the Reichstag.

  2. Substitute it for Women, or Guys. Then see how it sound.

  3. Didn’t the Roman Empire have a rather loose attitude about sexuality?
It lasted for several hundred years.
Ancient Greece lasted some 600 years.

To bad there’s no intelligence test for political office.

  4. And I’ll bet you dollars for donuts that these same words are repeated millions of times a day, every day, all across the US, because are as much of a tribal society as the Afghanis and the Iraqis, only we like to tell ourselves that we’re “open-minded.”

Thank you, Internet, for this “discovery” moment.

(Quite a number of Chinese emperors were apparently bisexual or openly homosexual, as well.)

  6. Yea, if god wanted people to be homosexual, he would have made them that way. OH! WAIT! He DID!

  7. Actually, having hateful people like this in public office is more of a threat than raidcal Islam.

  8. What’s up with her “not all religions are equal” comment as well? What makes her religious beliefs better than mine?

  9. Oh yeah. Better to have Osama Bin Laden living next door to me than a gay guy.

It won’t happen in my lifetime but I’m hoping for our first Gay president someday… maybe with the help of that woman’s grandkids or great-grandkids who hopefully will have more open, sane and moral minds.

  11. You need to read the Bible and ask God for a revelation. God destroyed Sodom and Gamora for the very same acts of immorality. He did not create homosexuality. The devil has you confused.

  12. At first glance it sounds pretty stupid, but what Sally was trying to say is this. When a nation gives itself over to sin, God has no obligation to protect it. For many years God has protected this nation. God is a god of love, and like any loving father He does not like to see His children being disobedient. When a child is disobedient the parent has an obligation to society to correct that child. God is merciful, but He is also holy. We are that disobedient child, in many ways we have dissobeyed God, that is called sin, homosexuality is only one of those sins. Sin is the biggest threat to this nation. When we continue to do so, and glorify that sin, and justify it, we leave God no choice but to correct us (if we’ll listen). So He lifts His hand of protection from us and lets an enemy get in, in this case that enemy is radical Islamic terrorists. If we would repent, He would return His hand of protection and rescue us. The one causes the other, because of the one (sin in general) the other is allowed to happen, to get our attention, like a spanking, it gets the child’s attention and says, “Don’t do that any more.” God has told us what is and is not allowed in His book, the Bible, and we can choose to obey or disobey, and when we do we must face the consequences.

  13. Wow Mr. Abby. Where was God’s hand of protection for any of the world disasters, wars, Columbine, ect. I guess nowhere in the world is deserving of this mythical being’s giant hand of safety and security. Not anywhere in the world at anytime. Hmmm….

  14. So, when God “spanks” people he just wipes out a couple hundred to thousand innocent people who probably aren’t the “sinners in question”? Sounds like God’s a total a-hole. Hail Satan!

  15. I cannot believe the comments that are being made. Thank you Steven Abbey for your sanity. This Rep. is talking about a sexual preference and a lifestyle that is chosen against God’s word. It has nothing to do with race, gendre or religion. She is dead on. There was nothing said that was hateful. She isn’t incitig people to hate because of this lifestyle but giving a concerned warning of where this lifestyle will take us as a nation. The truth hurts to those who do not want to hear it.
Read your history books. Get educated. This is a sexual preference nothing more. This was a chosen lifestyle of Sodom and Gomorrah, the Roman empire and others that no longer exist because of this unnatural lifestyle.

  16. This is a nation based on equality. Secular equality. Just because this woman has been brainwashed her whole life into believing in a “Santa for adults” as I like to think of it as, doesn’t give her the right to make comments like these. Gays are not what is wrong with this country, it is accepted and glorified ignorance and hate to others. If christians acted the way the bible actually told them to, we would be much better off.
“I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians, they are so unlike your Christ.” ~Gandhi~

  17. My God wields a hammer, yours was nailed to a tree. Any questions?
