now that the Vatican has declared that the single biggest religions denomination in the world is Islam.
Monsignor Vittorio Formenti, who compiled the Vatican’s newly-released 2008 yearbook of statistics, said Muslims made up 19.2 percent of the world’s population and Catholics 17.4 percent…The Vatican recently put the number of Catholics in the world at 1.13 billion people. It did not provide a figure for Muslims, generally estimated at around 1.3 billion.
And every one of them wants to destroy America?

Well, the real irony is that while Condi is busy not really solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Iranians are brokering a truce between al-Maliki and al-Sadr, by way of the commander of Iran’s al-Quds Brigade, which of course was declared a terrorist organization by the big brains in Washington.
Give it ten years and we’ll have yet another “Axis of Evil.”
Could things be any worse if we had gone into Iraq with the intention of deliberately screwing it up?

I’m reading Jonah Goldberg’s “Liberal Fascism” and it’s funny to read the above headline, “So Many People To Hate” because Mr. Goldberg has you people spot on.
Anyone who disagrees with the Democratic party is, by definition, a “hater.” You don’t know it, but that’s not an accident.
Leftwing intellectuals decided many years ago to use that to advance their agenda. Anyone who doesn’t believe in the Democratic party’s idea of compassion is a “hater.”
I don’t believe in affirmative action? I’m a hater. I don’t believe in socialism? It’s because I’m filled with hate. I oppose universal health care? It’s because I am filled with hate.
It’s really that simple to be a Democrat.

I really wish there was a way to let the Muslims overseas know that the American people are not all as selfish and hypocritical as our elected officials. I’m not advocating violence, but perhaps if extremists knew who to target they’d leave the innocent alone. You know? If someone’s mad at me, I’d really prefer they take it out on me than on my 3 year old son.
