Good Thing That Photographer Wasn’t An “Illiterate Peasant”

Colorado state Republican representative Douglas Bruce, known for kicking a photographer who had the temerity to photograph him while he was praying, was ordered off the House podium after referring to Mexican workers as “illiterate peasants.” They were debating a bill that would allow immigrant workers to get temporary federal visas.
“I would like to have the opportunity to state at the microphone why I don’t think we need 5,000 more illiterate peasants in Colorado,” Bruce said.
I would have just said….fence wire jumping a##holes! do you think I would have been excused??

Come now, folks.
The Honorable Lord Bruce of the Colorado Colony is just an all American boy who excelled in his academic and litigation careers before dedicating his life to public service. He’s done so well for himself that I can hardly blame him for confusing our representative democracy with some sort of monarchy.

When are liberals going nto wake up Rep.Bruce said a true statement and all these people do is come ,not pay taxes,send their kids to our schools,pay for health care. Yes they come and steal our tax dollars,then thay send all their money back to Mexico wake up you are supposed to care about America but you don’t. All liberals hate America and want to destroy it and it’s freedoms.

Instead of apologizing, Mr. Colmes, the Rep. decides to dig deeper and blame everybody else.
“I looked up the word ‘peasant.’ The word ‘peasant’ means a person who works in agricultural fields. These people, most of them, don’t speak English. Most of them haven’t had any formal education, that’s why they’re coming over here. I don’t blame them for trying, but I don’t think we should pave the way for more aliens to come here.””

Wonderful. Not only is it inaccurate (they do have schools in Latin America, y’know), blatantly racist, but he uses it to defend his POV.
Imagine if he went after left-leaning Jews by calling them ZZ-Tops who control the media, then defended it by saying they all have long beards and some own a major company.
