On Monday’s Radio Show…

May 12th, 2008, 6:00 PM EDT

• Alan talks with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) about the 2008 presidential race and his new book, The Good Fight.
• Retired Gen. Ricardo Sanchez, who led our forces in Iraq and is author of Wiser in Battle: A Soldier’s Story, reveals how political infighting led to battlefield chaos.
• On the eve of the West Virginia primary where Hillary could win big, are calls for her to drop out premature?

Responses to this post...

  1. god bless Della …

  2. The caller who was just on, who didn’t turn her radio off, dropped the phone, wanted to talk about Hillary Clinton, lied about what Joel said, still had the radio on even after all of that,… was Della.

She didn’t get to talk about Hillary.

I am so disappointed. Hopefully she’ll call back during Radio Graffiti.

Cheryl you have a great voice! You made excellent points too. It was great hearing you!

  11. Thanks, E. I’m having such a bad night though. I have a 3 year old with psychotic paternal grandparents and got into it with them tonight. These people are alcoholics with that whole “I’m SOOOO much better than you, I can’t BELIEVE my son fathered a child with you”. You know, that kind of thing. Too bad their son SUCKS. LOL So, I’m bummed. But an intellectual type challenge always gets me excited, so I decided to suck it up and call (I’m always nervous!).

  12. My post about the Woods Foundation is awaiting moderation b/c of the links. But that whole thing is ridiculous, and you know I’m not even an Obama supporter. The conservative pundits keep saying how dangerous Obama is b/c of his “relationship” with Ayers. PLEASE.

  13. Hey Alan,

You’re in a great mood tonight. Did you hammer out your new contract with Fox? Have you been sweating it up till now?

  14. Oh Cheryl I am so, so sorry that happened to you tonight and that you’re involved in such a negative family situation. How incredibly sad and depressing when people behave that way.

BUT that was an excellent phone call you made and you didn’t sound nervous at all. If I called I wouldn’t even be able to say much more than Hi. I would just lose it lol.

    You sounded wonderful. :)

  15. Is it true your show is being used to torture at Gitmo?

  16. wow, what a night of callers. Give this caller now a gun.

  17. President Barak Hussein Obama. Sounds [funny]. Like it will NEVER happen ! LOL.

  18. Who you gonna vote for Cheryl? The [funny] guy ?

  19. Epiphany~ Thanks. You say the nicest things. So, read under the Miley post. My 16 year old bro lost his virginity to a white girl, and I JUST KNOW that Jerry’s gonna love that!!!

Poor Della… she really truly works herself into a tizzy over Hillary. Did she say tonight that she should be CASTRATED? Oh boy.

  20. Hahaha is THAT what Della said? I couldn’t understand her tonight. I KNEW she wss going to call back during Graffiti because Alan hung up on her earlier at the beginning of yhe show. She was probably pissed. lol.

So sad. But entertaining for me!

  21. I can just barely understand her, but I’m convinced I heard the word ‘castrated’. Did you hear last week when she called and said the only way we’d be able to shut Hillary up was to put a muzzle on her mouth and drag her off the stage by her ankles??? LMAO

Do you think that John David Prince is John the Trucker? I do. If you look at his posts, they talk about the same things. And I think his sporadic posting is a result of being a truck driver and not being able to get to a computer everyday.

    Where is NOEL???

  22. If sitting on the same foundation with Ayers is a problem, then I would think anyone who went to the University of Chicago is suspect too.

And, by extension, anyone who’s ever lived in Chicago.

  23. hah, oh well, two of my cousins that live in West Virginia voted today. Funny thing is one voted for Hilary and the other for Obama.

Hilary Clinton has come a long way my friends, but sometimes, someone else is meant to carry the torch in the end. I just hope she doesn’t go all bi-polar again on Obama if she ends up not doing too well tonight. lol.

  24. Where is the First Noooeelll…Noooeeell Noooeeelll?

    Just asking.

  25. WFG, lol. I left a comment on his blog asking him where he was. He’s in the service, so maybe he’s doing something for his job.
