  2. I am picking up Up Till Now at Barnes & Noble tomorrow. I guess I’ll get to hear Shatner’s, I mean Cowman’s voice more in his 5 CDs of autobiography.

  3. I haven’t listened to the radio in a while. I have practically been condemned to my blogging, my site, and etc. I guess anything for me on the radio would sound sexy?
UP TILL NOW better be good.

Tell me all about it afterwards Sam….

  4. I also recommend Howard Zinn’s new book about American Empire (I forget exact title) but it’s only $17. After that I read Alan’s book Red, White, & Liberal. Both are highly recommended. Alan needs to do more writing, like guest writing for a paper perhaps? Or some kind of study on liberalism vs conservatism… hey Alan, write something else!!! Work on it now, do something about what this campaign has shown us about cons and libs. Not necessarily a whole book, but something!

  5. Alan Colmes has a radio show????

That’s funny, nobody seems to care because you never hear about it? We hear about Sean Hannity’s show ALL the time, because people care and he HAS an audience!

We also have “Hannity’s America”, where is “Colme’s America” or your spin-off show? The fact is that the majority of Americans don’t care about liberals and their incessant whining.

Alan is simply equal time because Fox IS fair and balanced. Alan could never hold an audience on his own, at least one large enough to garner advertisers for an extended period of time and enjoy any longevity.

  6. Sneauman: you’re under-informed, and you’re projecting, just so you know.

  7. Projecting and under-informed…LMAO. :-)

That’s funny, I am a news junkie and I NEVER hear anyone mention Alan Colmes’ radio show…EVER! Of course I was being a little facecious, I had heard he did have a radio show at one time, but due to lack of interest I never bothered to see if he still did. Most liberal talk shows fizzle out rapidly anyway and there was no need to assume he still had one.

I DO hear people mention Sean Hannity’s radio show though, a LOT! If it wasn’t for Hannity, there would be no Alan Colmes on television.

Show me Alan’s spin-off TV show where he is holding an audience all by himself?

    C’mon…show me, Mr informed. :-)

  9. Fabrication and exageration is more fun and entertaining than facts and truths.
That’s why Rush Limpball and Hannity, etc. have a larger following that Colmes, Schultz, etc..

  10. Well it’s like someone once remarked to me about O’Reilly. He’s an arrogant dumbass, but sometimes he’s pretty funny. So he gets a lot of viewers looking for laughs, but you have to dig pretty low in the barrel to find someone who actually takes the guy seriously.

  11. Cheryl,I also recommend you checking out Dinesh D’Souza’s blog on AOL.He touches on politics as well as religious topics.I think you’d find his positions worth considering even if you don’t agree with them.

  12. Alan has THE best radio show, so there.
Who cares how many shows you have, if you have the best one?
And Sean Hannity is a poo-poo head.
I’m leaving the sandbox now, my adult life is calling.

  13. Craig, thanks for the referral. I bought another of Zinn’s books today, and am also reading THE MISEDUCATION OF THE NEGRO by Carter G. Woodson. But I can definitely check out a blog.

  15. Ratings speak VOLUMES…that reflects who has the audience, hence the advertisers…period.

Limbaugh, Hannity and conservative RULE talk radio for one reason, people actually listen to them because they speak the truth and make sense.

The liberals on radio only appeal to a kook fringe, hence LOW ratings which means no audience. They are simply not credible and spout nothing but nonsense and hate speech which is why they only have tiny audiences.

Have fun listening to them though, that alone speaks volumes of just who YOU are…the kook fringe. :-)

  16. My name is Cheryl Carroll, and I’m damned proud to be a member of the Kook Fringe. The Kook Fringe boasts Alan Colmes as one of its fearless, progressive leaders. We do our best to listen to the views of others, as is evidenced by the fact that Alan has a diverse group of libs and cons who choose to tune into his program night after night. We conserve values that should be conserved, and progress past those that have become outdated and oppressive. The Kook Fringe is about more than spouting our particular view point, it’s about dialouging with our fellow humans, researching and locating facts, to determine the best course of action in any given situation. Our collective group of religious and non-religious individuals does what the Conservatives typically fail to do: love our fellow man with the truth of our actions, not just our words (1 John 3:18).

Huh… doesn’t sound so kooky after all. But whatever the name thrown at us, I’m proud to be a member.

  17. Sneauman. Bullshit. You could put the Ku Klux Klan on radio and put it on 400 stations and their ratings would be twice what they are for Rush and Sean.

    Quality over quantity.

Not only that, Alan Colmes has been doing radio for over 30 years and still has a sizable audience compared to other conservative hosts other than Rush and Sean. And Dr. Laura lol.

Alan obviously must be doing something right. Otherwise, why would you be on here bashing him so desperately? Hmmmmm? Think about it. ;-)

  18. Sneauman,

Finally a conservative! I thought I was fighting the good fight by myself. Welcome, but watch your step. The liberals here start using expletives when they begin to lose. Many are walking contradictions, and few have facts to back up their statements. Then again, their liberals.
