News That’s Really Really Local

You can click on your town, and then your neighborhood, and it aggregates news and discussions. How else would I know about a watermelon eating contest in the building complex where I work? I’m worried that the next step is you click on your address and find out what’s happening in the next room.

  1. They don’t have Fredericksburg.

Alan, you should really participate in that watermelon eating contest. Win one for the good guys, and all that. :-)

  2. I eat the seeds.

  3. I eat them if they’re small enough… no sense letting the seeds get in the way of enjoying a delicious fruit. I do that with cantaloupes too (the extra seeds left after scraping).

  4. Stopped liking watermelons years ago. Just weren’t that special to me.

  5. The next step is you click on a link and find out what YOU are doing. Then you’ll be as up-to-date as the NSA.
