On Thursday’s Radio Show…
• Scott McClellan speaks! Alan brings you the latest on the Beltway Battle between President Bush and his former press secretary.
• Newsweek’s Fareed Zakaria, author of The Post-American World, explains why he thinks our nation could lose its claim to being a superpower.
• A 101-year-old Florida woman has become the world’s oldest driver. But is it safe for her to be behind the wheel? We’ll debate it.

That 101 year old is probably a better driver than lots of people 70 years younger than she is…that said if she can pass a driver’s test or whatever is required then why the heck not?

I heard Fareed on another program, forgot which one, not long ago. This should make for an interesting interview. If only I could recall what the last one was about.

Fareed Zakaria sounds oddly like a neocon sometimes. Sometimes, he sounds like an anti-neocon. If I was a conspiracy nut, his connections to the CFR and the Trilateral Commission would be grounds for many sleepless nights.
The Bush people are all over TV talking about Mr. McClellan. They’re talking about him as you’d talk about a crazy aunt with early Alzheimers. “We don’t hardly know him anymore”. “We’re all so concerned over his new mental state”. “We’d better take the car keys away from him before he hurts himself”.

Fareed is no neocon.
Hey Alan, did Sean crap his pants when he heard Murdoch say he thought Obama would win in the fall?
Alan, do you think CNN is totally in the tank for Clinton? Tonight the 100 year interviewer (Larry King) was saying “Do you think she can pull a rabbit out of her hat” in refrence to this weekends DNC meetings.
CNN has been so pro Clinton it’s shameful. Thank God that Jack Cafferty is there for balance.
Alan, why don’t you get Ed Schultz on your show. He’s like you used to be back on WEVD.
Please have your screeners check for coherence among your callers. Too many of them are pointless and rambling….p.s. am I still on hold?

Hey Alan, why are you bringing up that Priest at Trinity? What does he have to do with Obama? NOTHING. He’s like any other talking head who has injected race into this debate.
What the Father said is no worse than when Hillary spoke of “white American support”. I know she’s your candidate and you surrogates are desperately trying to throw stuff at Barack and hope it sticks but pas de chance mon ami!

Fr. Pfleger is a Catholic Priest who is as political in Chicago as Jesse Jackson and the Cardinal hates it! His latest rant, b4 the trinity sermon, is to get tighter gun control so that Chicago Public School kids stop killing each other. You NEED to check out this months Chicago magazine which has an interesting, well-researched article on Obama’s Chicago connections. Bill Ayers, Mayor Daley, Penny Pritzker, and the U of Chicago ties are all explained. Although Liberal is Obama, he does have free-market ideals.

“Fareed is no neocon.”
Are you sure? You know Paul Wolfowitz called Fareed and some others over to discuss their ME plans in the Fall of 2001, after 9-11? Fareed was involved in these “secret” discussions over their plans for Iraq and Afghanistan?
The most you might be able to say is, “Fareed is no neocon, anymore”.

That guy Charles was so sweet. I don’t see anything wrong with paying a finders fee. Too bad he’s in Maine, I was tempted. :-D

The next woman to call after Cheryl didn’t think much of him, judging by her tone. I suspect many women chose not to call because they saw him as being pathetic, but, as it turned out, he had made an effort to take the normal routes toward relationships, and didn’t come off as creepy. You might still think him pitiful, but to say creepy, not in manner. Good luck to him.

I didn’t think he was creepy at all.

I said earlier that Scott McClellan always seemed like kind of a dunce in the press room affairs.
I’ve been watching him make the rounds of various talk shows and I have to withdraw that earlier comment. He’s doing very good work.
Maybe all he ever needed was to be “freed”.
