DeLay Says Obama Is A Radical Liberal Marxist
And let’s see how many times the word “radical” is applied to Obama. As Think Progress summarizes, Bill Kristol as already written of Obama using Marxist langauge, Karl Rove told me that Obama’s language was “almost Marxian”, Dick Morris says the Obama campaign is “full of Stalinists, and Joe Lieberman said asking if Obama is a Marxist is “a good question.” Just calling your opponent a “liberal” doesn’t make it anymore. Now you’re going to have to call your political enemy far worse.
And DeLay has also said, “There’s nothing redeeming about John McCain.”

Who cares what Delay says.
He left office in disgrace.
Actually these right wingers throw these words like Marxist and communist around because they count on their audience not knowing what they mean.
June 5th, 2008 at 7:32 pm
Who cares about a disgraced politician who thought his mugshot was a campaign picture. Total Jackass…
June 5th, 2008 at 7:50 pm
Karl Rove and Bill Kristol and Dick Morris. I know Alan works with them, but who cares about their opinions or Hannity’s for that matter. People who are voting for McCain anyway are the only people who listen to scum like them.
Karl Rove – ‘Nuff said
Bill Kristol – a so-called “journalist” who makes up stories without any resources and an idiot.
Dick Morris – Another disgraced political figure. Why the hell is he ever on TV anyway? He looks like an old lesbian…

As many of you know, I’m an Independent. Abortion, the war, health care, and the economy are my big concerns. I’m with McCain on abortion, and sort of with him on the war (I don’t support the war, but I don’t support screwing the Iraqi people with an abrupt withdrawal either). Now that Hillary’s out, I think most Independents are going to have to decide this year what issue is most important to them, and vote based on that issue.
Just my opinion.
June 5th, 2008 at 8:02 pm
Well,if as Obama says that’s it’s the goverment’s responsibility to create jobs for folks that is a socialist view.

Delay: The Dale Gribble of Texas politics
June 5th, 2008 at 8:58 pm
@Cheryl I thought you were pro choice?
June 5th, 2008 at 9:16 pm
Obama is not a Marxist; Delay is, however, a punk.
See link.
June 5th, 2008 at 9:25 pm
Calling someone a marxist is so stupid. They just throw around words that they don’t know the meaning of to scare people from voting.
Don’t vote for McCain because he’s a big poopy head.
See, it just doesn’t work.
June 5th, 2008 at 9:49 pm
Not true. I thought he was a big dum dum head but had second thoughts about not voting for him, but now that I know he’s a big poopy head, it’s out of the question for me to vote for him.
June 5th, 2008 at 10:16 pm
I hear that John McCain’s mother wears army boots…at her age no less!
June 5th, 2008 at 10:49 pm
I have noticed that your partner Hannity is starting to use the word “radical” more and more.
Springer really gave it to him tonight. I think he’s dead on what he says about most Americans don’t care about all the shit Hannity says each night. The only people that care are the clowns that listen to his radio show that would never vote for Obama anyway.
June 5th, 2008 at 11:10 pm
Tom DeLay is a radical conservative theocrat.
June 5th, 2008 at 11:39 pm
marxist, shmarxist…..
call him whatever, Obama will probably have a better name for DeLay.
Can’t mess with Obama because he’ll outwit anybody.
June 5th, 2008 at 11:39 pm
I’m reluctantly pro-choice. I believe in limited abortions, but I don’t think it’s fair to completely take that right away from women. However, I think that more women need to acknowledge that they’re carrying life, whether that life is viable or not.
Here’s the way I see it- we’ve got a Democratic Congress. How much damage could McCain do where abortion is concerned? ROE v WADE isn’t going anywhere. This kind of situation may force them to compromise.
June 5th, 2008 at 11:39 pm
Yeah, finally, a president with wits!
A refreshing quote:
~Brevity is the soul of wit.~
Tom DeLay better go back to school to learn more about what he’s accusing Obama of.
What in the world is a Radical Liberal Marxist, couldn’t he come up with a better one!
June 5th, 2008 at 11:42 pm
Someone forgot to tell Tom delay “people in glass houses should not throw rocks” anyone asociated with the Bush admin. should be looking for a hiding place.
June 5th, 2008 at 11:53 pm
Obama will be President and Hannity and his ilk can bray like the asses they are and no one will listen.
p.s. McCain is a poopy head and Delay is a fuckball.
Thank you…
June 5th, 2008 at 11:56 pm
and good night.
June 5th, 2008 at 11:56 pm
I don’t expect TP to be able to make the distinction, but it might be nice if Alan (or whoever writes these things for him) could note that there’s a difference between being a Marxist and spouting Marxist ideology. Obama has clearly done the latter; the former is doubtful but certainly possible. He’s more like a lightweight socialist.
June 6th, 2008 at 12:51 am
Obama and McCain have used Marxist rhetoric during this campaign, and both harbor Socialist views on a great number of issues. Almost all tyrannical states begin with a government takeover and rearrangement of the national economy.
June 6th, 2008 at 1:32 am
As a Marxist, I’m really offended by all of you.
haha
June 6th, 2008 at 1:34 am
is it better or worse to be a marxxist than a marxist
richard vs. karl
June 6th, 2008 at 1:39 am
Cheryl…I think early term abortions you could consider a right, but (and you might agree with me here) I strongly disagree that a late-term abortion is a right anymore than infanticide is a right.
I wish people on the left would be intellectually honest and say, “Yes, we believe a mother’s life has more intrinsic value than a late-term baby’s life and therefore infanticide should be legal.” That is immoral as hell but intellectually honest and a logically reasonable position to take. I mean, all this “IT’S JUST A FETUS” crap reeeeally annoys me. Late term abortions involve more than tissue…they involve human life, folks. Talk to an OB/Gyn or a pediatrician. There’s a baby growing in there. There’s human life.
Roe v. Wade might be overturned under a McCain presidency via a couple of Supreme Court Justices and it would go back to states. I hope that is the case…then states would have some control over some of this barbarism and the nonsensical “privacy” reason for abortion will maybe stop being parroted by everyone on the left.

how about lenen vs stahlen ? better then a rocky sequal

“Well,if as Obama says that’s it’s the goverment’s responsibility to create jobs for folks that is a socialist view.”
by Craig in Bull island June 5, 2008 at 8:40 pm
***************************************************
Why is it ’socialism’ to create jobs for working people, but ‘free market capitalism’ to create no bid contracts at cost plus for big coroporations?
And then THEY turn around and hire cheap foreign labor?
Actually, when you add to that, the fact that the recipients of the contracts are ALL party members and political donars, it seems like it belongs more with the old Soviet style one party rule model.
Besides, didn’t Bush always talk about creating jobs?
June 6th, 2008 at 8:56 am
Early term abortions as a right- yes. Although I’d prefer they be more of a limited right. Late term abortions- Man, I don’t know. I personally would prefer that that decision be left up to the woman’s doctor, through careful discussion with her and compelling health reasons. You make a very interesting point regarding the intellectual honesty. Unfortunately, I think that many who say that it’s just a fetus really believe that it’s just a fetus.
I doubt that McCain would be able to appoint judges who would overturn Roe v Wade. Congress would never approve them.
June 6th, 2008 at 11:33 am
The main thing that bothers me about abortion, though I am pro choice, is the rather dismissive and in a way selfish attitude some women seem to have toward men’s right to involvement. The only thing I ask is to be told or to never have known of the pregnancy to begin with. You can tell me 2 seconds before the abortion, just tell me. If I can’t at least know, whatever problems you might have after the abortion, tough. Cry to your mother. We’re down. It’s not about permission, it’s about respect. “Hey, Hon, I’m having an abortion, call you later”. That’s terse, but I’d take it.
June 6th, 2008 at 12:48 pm
Bill Kristol: people still read this guy?
Karl Rove: a has-been.
Tom Delay: grrr grrr, woof woof.
Dick Morris: who?
Joe Lieberman: would he recognize himself in a mirror?
Scott McClellan: still burbling out both sides of his mouth.
June 6th, 2008 at 12:56 pm
Until he proves me wrong….
I think Tom DeLay is a gay pedophile who dabbles in beastiality from time to time when he’s not money laundering or basically screwing people out of their hard earned cash.
June 6th, 2008 at 1:38 pm
There will be some unfortunate women always who conclude abortion is their only option. If legal professional regulated abortion is not available via federal protection, it will revert to the states where emotional political pressures will allow some and disallow in others. So people who make the coice will revert to the street abortionists, hangers hanging from the uterus on fire with fever, bleeding to death, and the criminal element providing same will flourish. I’be been there and seen that. Keep it a private matter between woman and her conscience and physician (with some rules to protect viable infants and education to allow full range of choices)
Regarding Tom DeLay…the less said the better. Under the guise of Christian right he is the least moral scumbag political hack that ever lived, save maybe Carl Rove and sidekicks like the irrelevent Dick Morris. Kristol and Lieberman have convinced themselves that their view is correct. They are less viscious although thoroughly misguided in my opinion.
June 6th, 2008 at 1:46 pm
Flap:
Yes. The mother should have the baby at all costs. That way once it’s born, she can leave it in a garbage can in sub-zero weather or beat it to death when the baby turns 2 years old (terrible two’s).
We should make those babies suffer before we kill them. That’s the ticket! Thanks for clearing that up for me.
June 6th, 2008 at 1:53 pm
If abortion is made illegal, the rich, influential, and the connected will still get theirs.
Only the middle class and the poor will be forced to use back alley methods.
June 6th, 2008 at 2:51 pm
If Roe vs Wade is overturned by President McCain’s new judges it goes back to the states. More than half will keep abortion legal. The red states will probably not especially in the south where abortion rates are the highest. Rich and and even middle class women will get their abortions by traveling to the legal states and paying whatever it takes.
Poor southern women will bear the brunt of it. They will go for the local “discount” abortions.
June 6th, 2008 at 3:11 pm
I am sick of this stupid idiot (Delay) and his neo-con way of thinking. This is a man who should be in jail and should just keep his mouth shut.
June 6th, 2008 at 10:12 pm
Anything DeLay, Rove, Kristol and LIEberman say is totally irrelevant……And now LIEberman has taken to using the venacular “Democrat party” instead of Democratic Party…He is the Zell Miller of 2008, if he doesn’t like the Democratic Party he could always vacate it…..the stench coming from the tent when he is around is really awful. And I hear Obama told him where to stick it…..on the floor of the Senate ealier in the week….I say good for him~!! This tiny little irrelevant men an’t ho;d a candle to our next president, PresidenT Obama. They are supposed to be grown men…they certainly aren’t behaving like it~!!
June 6th, 2008 at 10:27 pm
It is slightly difficult to take any Democrat seriously when they freak-out about someone not putting an “ic” every time the party is mentioned, let alone the fact that the party isn’t exactly democratic. Aristocratic maybe.
June 7th, 2008 at 3:54 am
The reason that people ‘freak out’ about the phrase, ‘Democrat party’, is because the incorrect name is used in a deliberate, calculating manner: like calling the “Flute Club”, the “Flaut Club” because it’s members are called flautists.
It immediately exposes the speaker as one who mindless repeats RNC talking points, AND makes them sound more like Archie Bunker when he would things like ‘groinacologist’ and ‘the bus suppository’.
It certainly makes the president sound illiterate when he cannot pronounce the name of the majority party in congress!
June 7th, 2008 at 8:26 am
Before we even get to abortion we might consider what happens to the “right to privacy” if McCain puts more of these “constructionists” on the court, because Scalia’s one of them, and I don’t think he accepts that there is any “constitutional” guarantee of privacy.
But, obviously, we could all keep our guns. We could have guns and guns and more guns. Well, until the jackbooted stormtroopers bust down your door in the middle of the night and haul your ass off to the gulag.
But obviously that could never happen to you. Because you haven’t done anything wrong. You’ve got nothing to hide. And the police know this, because they’re all psychic, and they can look into your eyes and know what’s in your heart, and just see that you’re innocent.
June 7th, 2008 at 2:23 pm
Drill here, drill now.Senator McCain has his chance to make a REAL change NOW and win this election ARE YOU SICK OF THIS GAS MESS???? Then elect someone who has a PLAN……Obama wants to tax the oil companies…humm, penalize capitalism for making money…thats what businesses do. Does he want to penalize ALL businesses that make money. If that is his answer to the gas CRISIS then I am not impressed. What will the oil companies do to subsidize the tax increase, RAISE PRICES, DUH
Raising taxes, redistribution of wealth, bigger government ( havent they screwed up social security, medicare, medicaid and heck even the post office?) they want to take over the oil companies and nationalize health care. Oh my god. And now for the clincher…If you are not pro life then are you pro death? This one position tells EVERYTHING about a person/candidate. So if I choose to walk up to a child and shoot it…it was my choice, right? What is the difference? Obama is a liberal, radical, black extremist (if he were a white extremist he would be crucified by the media) and fatally flawed inexperienced politician. He has ties to admitted, unrepentent terrorist and criminals. Of course that didn’t stop slick Willy Clinton. He has NO PLAN. All I can tell is he can tell a good speech……..Oh yeah and don’t forget his ameaturish views on foregin affairs. If this imposter is elected, HEAVEN help this country. We may NEVER recover. STOP the Obama kool aid drinking and WAKE UP AMERICA.
