Alan~ please ask how they got this letter. I still don’t understand that part. I want to understand the motives behind who released this letter to the media.

The last thing the Democratic Party needs now is another “Branding” fight. Why can’t we all rally around the hard work done by “Liberals” to setup and win this election with clear choices without creating another riff over a stupid word like “Progressive.” What the heck does it mean? This is tantamount to political suicide and it’s totally unnessary until after we win. Doing this before shows a selfish agenda designed to divide or to take credit. Did Democrats take control of Congress because we were Progressive or because we were right on the issues? You can’t beat the Republicans by being Republican-lite. You fill your ranks with soft support and you can’t win because you don’t know where the party stands. A soft mushy center gets crushed. A Progressive Democrat is like a Pregnant Republican. You can’t be a little Progressive or pregnant. Both will force you to have that baby and never admit they were wrong to limit choice.

Alan~ you sound much better tonight, I’m glad you’re feeling better. My phone is dead, I can’t call you. I don’t understand the political point of releasing the McCain/Graham letter. Please help a sister out and explain. Thanks.
