Around The Globe

Oklahoma Senator Dan Boren says Obama is too liberal, quoting the National Journal’s claim that he’s the most liberal senator, saying he’ll vote for him but won’t endorse him. (Liberaland has pointed out that Obama is not the most liberal senator and, in fact. comes in at number 41 with in a more thorough survey).

McCain doesn’t rule out choosing Bloomberg.

Bush, in Germany, doesn’t rule out war with Iran, while bemoaning that he is not regarded as a man of peace.

Gas prices are staying high, says our energy department.

  1. David Boren (says Wikipedia) graduated in 1963 from Yale University, where he was a member of the Yale Conservative Party, elected president of the Yale Political Union and was a member of Skull and Bones. He was selected as a Rhodes Scholar and earned a master’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford University.

So ha ha ha, obviously Boren is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and is plotting to take over the world, which is why he repudiates the egalitarian Obama.

Power to the people! The whole world is watching! The whole world is watching…..!

  2. RC~ good call on Boren. Interesting research.

Bush as “man of peace”… Oh, brother. I can’t remember where I read it, but I saw an article somewhere this last week that compared him to Truman, and said that we wouldn’t appreciate Bush’s greatness for years to come. Oy vey…

  3. I like this “Around the Globe” theme. You should do a post like this every day, Alan.
