Can This Country Stand Another Bush?

June 16th, 2008, 8:31 PM EDT

George thinks so.

“Well, we’ve got another one out there who did a fabulous job as governor of Florida, and that’s Jeb,” he said. “But you know, you better ask him whether or not he’s thinking of running. But he’d be a great president.”

  1. LMAO

That’s a funny question, Alan. You should’ve never left comedy, bro. :0)

  2. Almost all the posts on this thread have disappeared as well!

  3. Dang. Guess the idea of another Bush in the WH drove people so rabid that they couldn’t hold back the profanity.

  4. No it’s not profanity. About 6 posts have disappeared on this thread and another 7 posts disappeared on the contraceptive thread.

  5. CENSORSHIP! CENSORSHIP!

  6. Republican haxxors.

  7. Though I like and respect Dubya in many ways, he has a lot of flaws. No more Bushes. 12 years is enough of one family. Move on!

  8. Another Bush or a Clinton will flush this country down the sewer.

  9. No more Pelosis either.

  10. Any “Star Wars” fans knows the deception that it took to keep Princess Laia hidden from the Empire. The next Bush with the force may not be Jeb, but it could be “Sister in Law.” Laura Bush’s positives stayed through the roof. Her overseas tours seem to be making the argument that “First lady isn’t about baking cookies any more.” With George and his team behind this woman, she could be first. McCain is still the presumptive nominee. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

  13. I agree we do not need another Bush or Clinton in the White House any time soon. Let’s just hope we don’t have a 169 to 169 split in the electoral college and the election goes into overtime.

Then we might wish Bush or Clinton was still president with what happens next.

  16. What kind of insulting question is this?

No, of course this country cannot stand another Bush, that is why Obama was nominated as the presumptive presidential candidate and he’ll soon be in the White House, in January. Duh!

  17. As a Floridian I say…Good God NO!!! After the lame misguided “No Child Left Behind” fiasco that is the standardized test known as FCAT, which punishes teachers who don’t teach to the test, and the Terry Schiavo nonsense…..jeb might be well-spoken and all, but he’s worse than his goofy brother.

Quick, someone get Obama over to the White House, THIS MOMENT! He needs to take over…now.

  19. Here is a better question; can this country stand another Clinton?
