By Jim 10/11/2008 at 7:19 pmI just read a book that will change the minds of people that don’t like Tim Russert. This book was the best I have read in years. It has stories from the people that knew Tim and it really shows what kind of guy he was. The creativity and out of the box thinking that he could do on the spot even as a young adult was amazing. Tim went to a concert where his beers were confiscated and yet he managed to drink them anyway. If you are interested in learning more about Tim’s life, check out the book “Tim Russert, We Heartily Knew Ye: Wonderful Stories from Friends Celebrating a Great Life” by Rich Wolfe. I bought it for half price at Walgreens. Does anyone else know of any other biographys of Tim Russert?

I was a fan of Russert, and I hated to see him pass, but why the hell are they wasting time in Congress talking about him? I never understood all those memorial bills and speeches. MAYBE if it’s a member of Congress, but otherwise get on with the people’s business. There’s not enough time in the day as it is.

funny thing about it though as I watched all the networks on the eve of Russerts death last friday…nobody bothered to get video/audio from this #1 rated host.Even from his own network.
