Right Wing Having Trouble Finding Best Way To Smear Obama
Karl Rove wants to define him as “cooly arrogant” and
“He’s the guy at the country club with the beautiful date, holding a martini and a cigarette that stands against the wall and makes snide comments about everyone who passes by.”
As Taegen Goddard write at Congressional Quarterly:
Sometimes he’s part of the country club set, other times he’s an outsider with a strange name raised by a hippie mother.
Sometimes he’s a Christian with a controversial pastor, other times he’s a secretive Muslim.
Sometimes he’s the black activist who resents white people, other times he’s the Ivy league lawyer who doesn’t understand the working man.
Sometimes he’s naive to the ways of Washington, other times he’s politically ruthless and overly ambitious.
Now, since all these Obama-smearers are looking to define him before he can define himself, shouldn’t they at least have a vast-right-wing-conspiracy meeting to get themselves all on the same page?

The GOP has identified the only way to smear Obama. They need to sling all the mud at him they can to make Obama look like “Wesley Snipes.” The problem isn’t Obama for the GOP, their problem is McCain. He’s got so much mud on him, they can’t tell which man they are attacking if they both shut up? McCain keeps trying to talk like Bush and that makes him unelectable. Forty-five new nuclear plants, 100 year occupation of Iraq, gas tax gimmicks, no justice at justice, no Constitution or accountability, voting rights for terrorists, begging for another attack on America and more spare change ideas? McCain looks like Al Jolson and that’s make us feel “Bamboozled.” We don’t have to repeat a “Bad Experience.” Change is better.

Hee. Clinton’s campaign was having the same problem. Okay, no more divisive comments from me.
How ’bout NOT smearing? might be the only solution…

Yeah, okay, and Karl Rove is the guy on the executive committee of the country club, and he advised his buddies on the committee, hey, let’s give this black guy a membership before we get accused of being racists.

So, you’ve proven that Obama is a bundle of contradictions. It’s not that there’s a problem finding things wrong with Obama; it’s just that with so many to choose from it’s hard to pick just one. Personally, I’d go with the fact that he wants some Americans to pay more than half their income in federal taxes and not worry about what Reverend Wright did or didn’t say on any given Sunday.

they don’t need to be on the same page. all they need to do is keep voicing their series of contradictions, and people will keep buying in to it.

It’s refreshing to see that the absurdity of the conservative attacks are not fooling people anymore. These odd attacks that are only done by the right is this abhorrent way of questioning the patriotism of other Americans. What makes these conservatives think they are better Americans? We are all Americans. What is good enough for you?
I masturbate to a picture of Ronald Reagan while saluting the flag.
There. Is that patrioitic enough for you?

If Republicans think Nuclear Energy with no solution for the nuclear waste is a winning idea, then McCain is “Dr. No Way!” The age of his political pundits is showing. Does anyone under age 30 even know who “Dr. No” was or what he did? Iraq is like “Popping Popcorn without a lid.” If you keep seeds of dissent on the fire too long everything gets burned. Who pops corns without a lid?

To quote my history teacher:
“It shows we’ve come a long way since the 60’s now that the Republicans are making the black guy look like the snobby, rich, country clubber”

From what I hear Obama is eating some crow by helping the clintons pay off some campaign debt. It sounds like hillary is wearing the pants in the democratic tee pee when it comes to getting into the white house.

Radio show notes seem late.
June 25th, 2008 at 8:38 pm
Instead of trying to smear the Democratic candidate, perhaps the Republicans can extol the virtures of the Republican now in the White house, oh wait, that wouldn’t work either.

Bob, your attendance to the LL blog is sporadic. Do you only check when you’re at work, or nights off, or what?
I’ve got to put my son to bed. So I won’t be online again for another hour or so.

June 25th, 2008 at 11:29 pm
See, I do not think we are having trouble smearing Obama. He seems to be doing a dandy job all by his little lonesome. I prefer to just sit back and watch the comedy show. He is NO different from the rest of the politicians in America.
