Subject: fair and balance?mr colmes,
it is not often that i write emails to anyone that i don’t know personally. however, tonight, i cannot hold in any more anger. i watch foxnews almost every night and i do follow your show on a regular basis. i notice, over the past few months of watching your show, i’ve accumulated more and more hate and anger towards you. why? you are a horrible interviewer, one who asks an interviewee questions without giving him/her a chance to answer. you repeatedly jump in and interrupt others just to save yourself from being proven wrong. i find your ignorance very disgusting and your extreme liberal views very scary. you blindly follow the liberal views even though the facts are put in front of you that their views are not right. you oppose the us government from drilling for oil and you believe that it wont lower the gas prices here in the us. to be a host on such a renowned station as foxnews, shouldn’t you be ashamed for saying those idiotic comments? now that sean hannity is not there by your side, keeping you in check, you seem to have gotten even more psychotic with your ignorant views. i am only 20 years old, yet i seem to know more about the issues that are currently happening more than you do. just because you call yourself a liberal, does not mean you have to blindly, IGNORANTLY, kiss ass to the liberals. it is OK to be part of a party and disagree with their views sometimes, alan. if you wholeheartedly follow your group just because you’re part of it, doesn’t that make you part of a cult? don’t you have any thoughts of your own? can’t you decide for yourself what’s right and what’s wrong? you do not deserve to be on foxnews because you are NOT, in the least bit, FAIR AND BALANCED. all you are good at is asking stupid questions, jump in and interrupt them when they are trying to answer questions, stall time while interrupting so that they run out of air time, and then you go to commercial. you really need to go back to school, read some more news rather than reporting, because you sure do not know what you’re reporting. i cannot wait until sean hannity comes back on air so that you can shut your liberal left nut idiotic mouth. i bet you’ve secretly asked yourself: “WHY ISNT THIS SHOW CALLED COLMES AND HANNITY”….heres your answer: BECAUSE HANNITY CAN KICK YOUR LEFT NUT ASS ANY DAY AND ANY NIGHT. the reason why they chose to have you on the show is probably to piss viewer (like me) so that we can keep on watching the show. if you think you have talent, heres a reality slap in the face: you dont. !!!!

Tell her to take her RIGHT NUT ASS and……..be more kind to you because you’re a very sensitive person and easily hurt.

sigh…
July 3rd, 2008 at 11:11 pm
I’m just sighing. Not telling him how to respond.
July 3rd, 2008 at 11:11 pm
Such a shame that Mike Savage has to pay his daughter to write such nonsense.
July 3rd, 2008 at 11:23 pm
Ironically, Savage speaks very well. If that’s his daughter, that’s embarrassing.
July 3rd, 2008 at 11:29 pm
ahh, the whiny caller.
July 3rd, 2008 at 11:43 pm
Just ignore the retard!
July 3rd, 2008 at 11:56 pm
See, Burt has taken up my program of planned ignoring.
But because the sender is young, and could not manage one capital letter unless she was screaming at Alan. Shows the dismal state of public education. Or it could just be the internet ruininating English.
My two coppers.
July 4th, 2008 at 12:21 am
Oh and the show is much better without Sean!
July 4th, 2008 at 12:22 am
I had no idea kool-aid flowed out of nipples. Your much to young to have to see your parents proved as fools.
July 4th, 2008 at 12:34 am
Why does Fox News tolerate such a liberal minded self appointed elitist, who thinks supplying our own energy needs with the resources at hand is a bad idea? Wake up poeple; I’m no right winger but lets use a little common sense here. I can relate to the anger she feels toward Mr. Colmes. However I don’t hate Mr. Colmes , I merely disagree with his logic when it comes to issues concerning our great nation. Mr. Colmes, what are your solutions to the immediate problem of rising energy cost?
July 4th, 2008 at 12:46 am
Alan is a radio personality not a politican.
Go yell at your Congreesman.
July 4th, 2008 at 12:49 am
“it is OK to be part of a party and disagree with their views sometimes”
i lol’d. can you say rubber stamp party honey? thats what you belong to Cindy. any conservative with half a brain should be distancing themselves from this current rubber stamp party. they’re not real conservatives.
July 4th, 2008 at 12:51 am
“i lol’d” LMFAO!
July 4th, 2008 at 12:56 am
i can’t quite put my finger on it but there’s something many of your critics have in common. it’s something beyond the obvious, that they’re all foxnews regulars.
i don’t know what the common factor is, but it has to be right in front of us.
July 4th, 2008 at 1:08 am
Dear Cindy:
I think both Hosts are horrible . . . C’mon lighten up .
July 4th, 2008 at 1:23 am
(((KIDDING)))
The show’s informative . .
July 4th, 2008 at 1:24 am
I know you just have to disagree with Sean to keep your job. You won lifes lottery, did’nt you Alan.
July 4th, 2008 at 2:41 am
Dear Cindy:
Theory is autobiography.
P.S.: And you’re factually incorrect, because your criticisms of Alan actually apply best to Sean.
July 4th, 2008 at 3:26 am
Way to go Cindy, but you forgot to mention that Alan the snobby smug liberal actually loves to interrupt to keep attention on himself. He actually thinks he is correct, when all he is – is argumentative and self serving. He is like any liberal, mildly intelligent, far from brilliant but committed to a cause and he will lie, twist facts, whatever, to push his agenda. Facts which do not agree with his agenda are irrelevant – to him, only his opinion (not facts) of events matters. I do not watch his show, I watch Glenn Beck, it is much better, and more entertaining.
July 4th, 2008 at 4:16 am
Cindy McCain is that you?
ahhh just joking.
I think Alan Colmes should respond like this…
“for the record, I think I have talent and so does my wife and my friends and family. If I didn’t have any talent, i wouldn’t be on tv and radio everynight, UNLIKE YOU CINDY! And for personal reasons, I think I have talent and that is good enough for me! Thanks for viewing MY SHOW and I hope you will listen to MY RADIO SHOW on the FOXNEWS RADIO STATION!
-ps. the more i get viewers angry at me for my god given political views, the more i smile when i cash my pay check i get from the foxnews channel who has discovered MY talent! and having me, a liberal voice, and hannity a conservative voice, that does make foxnews fair & balanced! Please Cindy visit my blog!:)

Alan,
It must be tough to be 2nd banana to Sean. He is after all an Icon at every trailer park in the US.
July 4th, 2008 at 7:19 am
Judging by Cindy’s comments about Alan’s interview techniques she is not aware that Alan is the one with the glasses.:)
.

July 4th, 2008 at 9:51 am
I thought Hannity was the fool. Hannity is the rude one in interviews. Even if someone doesn’t agree with Alan, I don’t see how he can be seen as the rude one. Hannity is so fucking weird, he doesn’t seem genuine. Don’t worry about it Alan. These people are sheep. They just follow talking points without the knowledge of what they’re repeating and don’t have thoughts of their own…
July 4th, 2008 at 11:05 am
Kudos to Louie The liberal for admitting that fox is fair and balanced.
Too bad you can’t say that about cnn, msnbc, cbs, nbc, abc, etc.
July 4th, 2008 at 11:24 am
Cindy, Basically you are endorsing the current administration and are fine with the conditions we live with currently. Since you’ve experienced only a short adult life, you have nothing else to compare it to. Young lady, the current conditions of our country aren’t the way their supposed to be. And your bitter with Alan ?
July 4th, 2008 at 12:44 pm
Tell her it’s mutual.
She said:
” you repeatedly jump in and interrupt others just to save yourself from being proven wrong.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Because Conservatives NEVER do that!
She said:
you blindly follow the liberal views even though the facts are put in front of you that their views are not right.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Because Conservatives NEVER do that!
She thinks she has the correct information because SHE blindly believes what the right tells her.
It always comes down to…
MY voodoo good, THEIR voodoo bad!
July 4th, 2008 at 1:10 pm
Dear Cindy:
Did you forget that this is called “Show Business?” It’s a “Show” and “Sean winning is good for business.” Did you ever see the great comedy teams of the past like “Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis?” Would Jerry Lewis actually attack Dean? The real talent isn’t afraid to take a back seat. The truth would hurt the show and Sean’s gigantic ego.
July 4th, 2008 at 2:11 pm
Surprisingly I agree with OldLefty…
Sean tends to interrupt guests just as much if not more than Alan. Both Sean and Alan follow their ideological line, which is not necessarily a bad thing!
July 4th, 2008 at 5:04 pm
Bozak,
that was the response that Colmes should of said to Cindy.
but in my opinion, FOXNEWS IS THE MOST BIAS, RIGHTWING PROPOGANDA tv show on tv.
I sit there watching any show on foxnews and how the host and the reporters twist the truth, to the republican and mccain.
When there is a controversy against mccain, foxnews bias reporters make up excuses for that republican and/or mccain, but for democrats they accuse they are guilty for everything.
Even H&C, all the stories are anti-democrat and anti-liberal, and pro-republican/conservative agenda. In fact, i have critized Colmes on who actually controls the agenda on that show and he kinda just refuses to answer and spins it.
Bozak, you just want to see hatred for democrats and liberals and if a news organization doesn’t provide that, that network to you is bias.
Bozak, get a life
July 4th, 2008 at 5:17 pm
Wow it baffles me to see how many people are still so far right. Look at our last administration. Higher gas prices, $9 billion a month on a war that we shouldn’t be in, unemployment rates soring should I go on. Well since all the republicans seem to want more of the same I say quit bitching about how bad things are because you are wanting to re elect these morons that are causing our everday lives to be miserable. Republicans use fear tactics and religion to get elected and the sheep that are the Republican supporters take everything they say as Gods truth and we will be attacked and the world will end if we elect anybody but a republican.

LOL, Louie. You’re retarded. :-D I LOVE the “smile when I cash my paycheck” bit. btw, if John doesn’t know how to use a computer, do you really think that Cindy does? And if she does, shouldn’t she have used her skill to fake better cookie recipes?
July 5th, 2008 at 2:11 am
Thank you, Cindy. I never watch Alan on tv because I do not watch Fox; however, I like to listen to the radio at night while I fall asleep, and since my local NPR station plays only jazz at night, I sometimes go over to talk radio. Alan’s show is on at night in my area, and I get so frustrated and angry for the same reasons you have outlined. The show also makes me sad though. You’re right that Alan just goes along with any ‘liberal’ mindset JUST because it’s liberal. As a Libertarian, I find this kind of blind allegiance to be scary. Additionally, he seems to hate his work. He is rude, surly, and abusive to almost all the callers except when there is a guest on who is clearly more well-informed and articulate than he is. Then he just seems intimidated, fawning, and sycophantic. I don’t mean to be mean-spirited, but Alan just doesn’t seem very smart. He seems like his nonsense about ‘liberal this’ and ‘liberal that’ is just a gimmick. I can easily see him denouncing all his liberal ‘views’ if the right opportunity presented itself. Actually, I wish there were a well-informed, articulate, bright representative of liberal views. Unfortunately we’re stuck with this random douche. :( PS Cindy, I appreciate the fact that at your young age you are able to express yourself in such a cogent and thoughtful manner. Good job!
