geeezzzz, thirrrrddddd
July 14th, 2008 at 10:04 pm
Thank you for looking beyond the politics Alan
July 14th, 2008 at 10:07 pm
I must be stoopit cause the 1 time I looked through a New Yorker I didn’t understand it.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:14 pm
Its goofy. You would have to frequent the wine tastings and art shows in NY to get that rag.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:16 pm
hey guys
July 14th, 2008 at 10:17 pm
Howdy Cheryl!
July 14th, 2008 at 10:18 pm
i’m watching a really good movie on SPIKE right now. it’s called A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE (i think) with Viggo Hot Ass Morgensen. i’ve got the radio in my lap, too. lol
July 14th, 2008 at 10:18 pm
Hi Cheryl Hi Dave. Either we’re it for Alans audience or everybody is mad over their fights earlier on the other threads. I was afraid to say anything haha
July 14th, 2008 at 10:19 pm
i’m not going to be able to watch the movie, listen to the radio, and blog. but the movie goes off in 40 minutes.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:19 pm
I hear its a good movie I have not seen it though.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:20 pm
everybody gets here at diff times. the only other 2 who typically blog live are flap and epipany. fury might pop in, if he’s not busy smoking pot.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:21 pm
oh man, it’s DAMNED good.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:21 pm
I’m busy smoking pot! But I can multi-task.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:22 pm
Hahahah I need to go buy some Orange Stoli’s. Freeze it, but then my kids will bug me cause I’m drinking.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:25 pm
say what?
July 14th, 2008 at 10:28 pm
I say drill while developing other methods of energy. What is so hard and so bad about that? Nothing else will be ready as fast as oil to gas will. Or even the natural gas,,,technology is there for it.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:31 pm
I have the solution to our energy needs.
We get all the fat Americans on a hampster wheel and power the nation.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:31 pm
ROFLMAO
DAVE, YOU ARE TOO MUCH
July 14th, 2008 at 10:32 pm
Hahah 2 birds with 1 stone, we’d all lose weight and the health care problem would go down, cept for the muscle strains and heart attacks.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:33 pm
I do what I can. ;P
July 14th, 2008 at 10:33 pm
Ok, I’m gonna make a confession here. I am toggling back and forth between this blog and Bill Oreillys premium members blog. Talk about split personality!
July 14th, 2008 at 10:34 pm
LV~ i agree with you. common sense would say that we tackle this problem with a multi-pronged solution. i dno’t understand why they’re not doing this.
movies back on.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:34 pm
LV! You pay for that?
July 14th, 2008 at 10:35 pm
Yeah, I was curious. It’s less than $5 a month and I got a free flag pin. I’ve come close to cancelling but only when someone to extreme pisses me off. I finally learned to just go to another thread.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:37 pm
Wait!! Is this a caller on with the 2 guests?
July 14th, 2008 at 10:38 pm
I say cancel the shit. Dont give that asshole any money.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:39 pm
I should call and tell them about my energy platform.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:40 pm
i like o’reilly. i like to listen to him and mark levin. levin is funny, although i’m worried that his dramatics are going to give him a heart attack.
what are the o’reilly bloggers saying about energy issues?
July 14th, 2008 at 10:43 pm
has epiphany been through yet?
July 14th, 2008 at 10:44 pm
I actually like OReilly. Haven’t heard from E. On his blog there’s a mix just like here. Most folks want drilling there but balanced with alternatives. On some of the threads are discussions on what else can be done. There’s like 100 threads and we can make our own when we feel like it. Except for the cursing and some really extreme opinions it’s pretty much the same.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:48 pm
i appreciate that compared to some other countries that we are paying less for gas. what i don’t appreciate is that the prices went up before our salaries did. THAT’S the problem. the increase was too damned fast.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:49 pm
I’m a big time Lou Dobbs fan too. Over there are a few people who like Michelle Malkin and Anne Coulter. I don’t like either of those women or their views. I’m more moderate in my beliefs and usually find those types to talk to.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:49 pm
“Except for the cursing and some really extreme opinions it’s pretty much the same.”
do you mean they use bad language, or their language is worse than ours?
July 14th, 2008 at 10:50 pm
True Cheryl. When I was 18 I was stationed in Italy. The prices in Europe were pretty much the same then as they are now. And that was in the 70s.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:50 pm
No bad language over there. The site monitors can kick you off or punish you. I’m not sure I just know some people have been put on restriction and when they come back they’re more careful.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:51 pm
Alannnnnnnnn. We need oil and while we’re weaning ourselves off oil we can develop viable solutions. Just cause you can take mass transportation doesn’t mean the rest of the country can.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:54 pm
And then there’s farm equipment
July 14th, 2008 at 10:55 pm
And jets
July 14th, 2008 at 10:55 pm
I’m surprised Levin hasn’t had a heart attack this past month.
July 14th, 2008 at 10:58 pm
Dave, what’s your energy platform?
July 14th, 2008 at 10:58 pm
dave’s energy platform is putting fat people into hamster balls. i’m sure that Gramm would support that solution.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:01 pm
LV~ that’s again part of the point. the sudden increase in gas didn’t just effect our commuting in cars, but the airline and farming industry.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:02 pm
Oh hahahaah that’s right.
Plus we have oil in everything. Plastics, blacktop, way to many things for me to even remember.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:03 pm
Yeah, fat people on hamster wheels, powering turbines. I think its a great idea.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:07 pm
Andrew Klavan is a genius!
July 14th, 2008 at 11:16 pm
I will read his book if I find it for like a doller.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:21 pm
okay, my attention is now 100% on LL and the show.
who’s this guy on right now?
July 14th, 2008 at 11:27 pm
oh, the EMPIRE OF LIES guy. missed ‘em. oh well.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:30 pm
the things that the media doesn’t report on is what pisses me off.
for instance, the 68 million acres of land leased by the oil companies that isn’t being drilled. why aren’t they drilling it? better yet, why hasn’t the media investigated to determine why it’s not being drilled. for those of you who saw the link i posted about 2 weeks ago, the only media articles i found were about 2 years old. the only thing i could find from 2008 was a C-SPAN archive.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:35 pm
here’s a summary of the major candidate’s positions and voting records on energy and oil
http://ontheissues.org/Energy_+_Oil.htm#Headlines
July 14th, 2008 at 11:37 pm
Cheryl. It’s going to depend on what you want to believe really. The oil companies trot out geologists who say there is no oil in those wells. That they’ve already tried with no success or it’s not worth the cost to extract the low grade oil. There is one spot out of those 68 mil that has an abundance of oil, and remember it’s within the leases, and Congress won’t let them drill. NJ senator Menendez wouldn’t answer at to why, he just started yelling over the anchor who kept asking him the same question over and over. That spot is on the west coast of Florida near the panhandle.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:38 pm
What I want to know is why isn’t there a restriction on the lousy 3% that is drilled in this country to sell it here first. It’s shipped overseas!
July 14th, 2008 at 11:39 pm
Like I’ve asked Harry Reid,,,would you spend billions of dollars on a well just to find out there’s no oil. Harry didn’t answer me. I don’t like Harry.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:41 pm
they apparently make more money by shipping it overseas. i’ve heard that somewhere before, but Guiliani also said this during his last interview on h and c with Alan.
back to the land already leased- neither i or any other american can figure out what we believe about this without the information. you know what i mean?
i didn’t hear that congress wouldn’t let them drill on the part that actually has oil. can you hook me up with a link/ref for that?
July 14th, 2008 at 11:42 pm
I tried to find it. I haven’t looked on youtube, but it was Your World with Cavuto on Fox. I think Thursday or Wednesday. David Asman was standing in for him. I got so pissed at the way the senator was avoiding the issue.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:48 pm
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,381901,00.html
here’s something, not the one I’m talking about though
July 14th, 2008 at 11:51 pm
thanks for checking. i’ll try to find it later.
a caller mentioned illegal immigration a bit ago. what are your thoughts?
my thought- give the ones here in amnesty, to shut the liberals up. but i want the percentage of illegals entering our country to drop.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:51 pm
cool, thanks for the link!
July 14th, 2008 at 11:52 pm
We take the illegals and put them on the Hamster wheel turbine along with the fat folks.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:55 pm
i was wonderin’ where you went off to, dave.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:55 pm
Damn I’ve about solved all the nations problems with one program.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:56 pm
ha ha. good job, dave.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:59 pm
I’m painting my little minions, when I come up for air I refresh the page.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:02 am
painting your minions? i don’t get it.
it doesn’t look like mccain has any kind of committment to developing renewable energy sources. Obama wants a quarter of our total energy to be renewable by 2025.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:04 am
Hahah pass some of the weed Dave…I need to see them on the hamster wheel.
Living in the southwest, I don’t want more illegals so I’m a big proponent of the border fence. Even if it doesn’t work, hell I have a fence around my yard! I want one around down there. I feel bad that people are so bad off in their own country that they risk their lives to get to this one. But I’ve also seen firsthand the damage they do in those beautiful Sonoran deserts. And the damage they’ve done to hospitals here. You can’t go to the ER because they are there for the free medical care for colds. I’ve seen my mother wait 10 hours to get in and she as a stroked out diabetic. I honestly believe that if Congress would put the promised money back into the fence fund and let construction continue, people would calm down some. I sign petitions, make phone calls and send letters that I want the fence built, I want Ramos and Compean released and I want employers punished. I know minutemen and would gladly join them if I didn’t have child obligations right now. Where I worked, almost 5 years ago it cost $3,000,000 of taxpayer dollars to provide spanish translation services.
Hahaha I can go on forever on this.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:05 am
Once our “leaders” create a viable plan to secure the borders and ports, punish illegal employers and let ICE do their jobs, people would be open to immigration reform as McCain and Kennedy tried to get on last year. Until then I don’t want to know anything about reform. They need to prove to me they are serious about doing the business of the country since most people want the borders secured.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:08 am
I think its fair play, we stole it from Native Americans and now their going to steal it back.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:08 am
Oh please…when did you steal it? Should we charge you with a felony?
July 15th, 2008 at 12:09 am
Hell yeah we stole it! you dont want to debate me on this one. You WILL lose.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:10 am
Cheryl, the interview was on July 7th, but I don’t know how to get it.
http://www.newshounds.us/2008/07/11/the_politics_of_foxs_premiere_business_news_show.php
July 15th, 2008 at 12:11 am
I did not steal anything, I did not own slaves. I do not think you will win this one with my thought process.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:12 am
Sorry my post was not meant to be arrogant, its reads that way though.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:13 am
lv~ sounds like we totally agree on this particular issue.
english should be legally established as our national language. most countries have an official language, why can’t we have one? oh, i know- bc it’s not politically correct. it’s not nice to expect people who come to an english speaking country to actually speak english.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:13 am
Ok, how did we not steal it from Native Americans?
July 15th, 2008 at 12:14 am
Dave! I may be old in some terms but I’m not that damn old! Plus my people didn’t steal anything on this side of the world. I’m descended from the Romans.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:15 am
thanks for the additional link. i’ll check that out, too.
i totally support giving California back to Mexico. CA is a liability. have you guys ever heard of a book called CADILLAC DESERT? if not, check it out.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:16 am
My people didn’t come to America until the late 1800’s.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:16 am
Ok our ancestors stole it, your just splitting hairs.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:16 am
And they went west LV?
July 15th, 2008 at 12:17 am
Hi!
July 15th, 2008 at 12:18 am
I mean high!
July 15th, 2008 at 12:18 am
Not my ancestors. That’s my point. If you are descended from the English then yes, your ascestors stole this country. Mine did not. Mine are not responsible for slavery also. Americans need to change that way of thought.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:18 am
One branch of my family arrived in the 1620’s the other were Scottish escaping tyranny, in the 1790,s.
And they stole this land.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:19 am
hey fury~ you’re late, as usual.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:19 am
And the 1620 bunch were Welsh.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:20 am
No, actually they settled in NJ. I went west as a teen with my parents. By then there were cities and the native americans were already relegated to dried up waterless spots of earth by the English.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:20 am
LOL, fury. we all know what keeps you from running on time.
LV~ i think that you should consider conceding the point that bc we are americans, our american ancestors stole this country.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:21 am
LV, you cant discount history just because your family wasnt directly involved with it.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:21 am
but Dave, you are not responsible for the crimes of your anscestors. Now, 2008, we are one nation. A soveriegn nation. Made one waaaaay before your or I were born. Times have changed, the world has moved on. The only ones I can see that do not move on are the jihadists who have been fighting the battle since the 7th century..BC I believe. We are not responsible for what happened at the creation of this country no more than we are responsible for what happened at the creation of anything before our time, including ourselves.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:23 am
lv~ it’s like calling the revolutionary war heroes our ‘forefathers’. it’s part of our history as a country. of course none of us today is directly responsible, but we collectively deal with the resounding issues from the past.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:23 am
Ok, I concede the point. Now, we should allow ourselves to be conquered by another nations poor and criminal?
July 15th, 2008 at 12:25 am
LOL, Hawaii is ‘barely as state’. this guy’s funny.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:26 am
I’m not saying that I’m responsible for these crimes, I’m just saying that its fair play for mexicans to spill into the country.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:26 am
Maybe if I lived in the SW I would feel diffrently, the only illegals we get are the hard working friendly ones.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:27 am
Hey I got some help against Vinnie Pee today! hahahahah
July 15th, 2008 at 12:28 am
well the answer to that is a big fat NO, and if that’s what dave is suggesting then he should really consider laying off the weed.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:29 am
Then they should assimilate. I don’t care if they come here. I don’t want my tax dollars used to support them. I don’t like my tax dollars used to support able bodied citizens, much less non citizens. I don’t want the majority of my police and fire tax going to interpreters. I don’t want my federal tax going to pay off other countries to be our friends. I don’t think that picking lettuce and cherries pays enough tax to support their medical care. I believe we are a sovereign nation, no matter how we came about this land, and our laws are to be respected or changed. But it is up to the citizens to do that, not some other country.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:30 am
Alan:
Every time I hear you discuss oil, and your negative opinion on the matter. I get the feeling you are only for the rich guy, no matter what..
Your opinion favors the rich guy, in the long run. Whether you like it or not.
The higher gas goes, something you want clearly, only the rich will have the money to buy it. Either way the government wins as well. . Company man
I think government’s addicted to Taxes, and B.S. . . Warmest Regards P.A.L.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:31 am
Ugh! Too serious…
July 15th, 2008 at 12:31 am
They are friendly here too Dave…I’m not against the persons. I feel bad for them, honestly I do. Most I’ve met are hardworking good people with a good sense of humor, but they are creating havoc that I cannot afford to pay for nor do I want to. However, I’ve seen citizens lose good jobs to this cheap labor. Construction jobs – LOST, housekeeping jobs – LOST, fast food jobs for teens – LOST. Explain to me why a meat packing plant used to pay $19 an hour several years back now pays $9 an hour. Are you paying less for that chicken? That steak? Our laws need to be enforced, against the people and against the people who draw them here, the employers.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:34 am
lol, alan doesn’t earn a living. hilarious.
fury~ i.m. me
also, the only reason i got into it with vince is bc of his blanket prejudice against all of islam. which i don’t want to talk about anymore.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:37 am
“I don’t think that picking lettuce and cherries pays enough tax to support their medical care.”
good point LV
July 15th, 2008 at 12:38 am
you’re not online…
July 15th, 2008 at 12:38 am
This guy can’t understand the hours Alan puts in just the part we see and hear?
July 15th, 2008 at 12:39 am
alan, you’re a lazy bastard. GET A JOB!
July 15th, 2008 at 12:39 am
This caller is an idiot.
LV you are missing my point, I dont like the fact that their stealing it. Just that its fair play.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:39 am
yes i am but i’m in my bedroom now and my connection goes in and out. keep trying, keep trying, keep trying.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:40 am
tobyzmama04
July 15th, 2008 at 12:40 am
LV, is that you on the show?
July 15th, 2008 at 12:41 am
It drives me nuts Cheryl, but I think that’s getting obvious. I was married to a guy who was brought here at 5 as an illegal. His father (if he’s still alive) was an illegal last I know of. Good people, nice people, business owners. I have nothing against them personally……oooooooooooooo I’m gonna scream at Alan
July 15th, 2008 at 12:41 am
anyone else who has a.i.m. and wants to i.m. me can, that way i can contact and harass you whenever i want!
July 15th, 2008 at 12:41 am
it says your unable to recieve messages offline…
July 15th, 2008 at 12:41 am
Hahaha so Dave, you’re a smartass too eh?
July 15th, 2008 at 12:42 am
open borders?! alan, you’re crazy man.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:43 am
hehe.. Thats all I do really. :P
July 15th, 2008 at 12:43 am
Ok, it’s not me, but he’s reading my talking points, or as Alan would say my right wing talking points.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:43 am
Alan’s for the rich guy . . The more I listen to you, the more you seem to be for subsides, and fat cats . . . And Slave labor . .
July 15th, 2008 at 12:43 am
Another of my points!!! The slave labor of the 21st century…illegals.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:44 am
Indentured servants
July 15th, 2008 at 12:45 am
how did the calls get onto illegal aliens anyway?
July 15th, 2008 at 12:47 am
Absolutely, and alan is all for it . .
July 15th, 2008 at 12:48 am
Will you talk to us too Alan?
July 15th, 2008 at 12:49 am
hehe a shot out!
thanks Alan!
July 15th, 2008 at 12:49 am
*Shout, Damn spelling.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:50 am
Nah, he won’t, because we’re the little people . .
July 15th, 2008 at 12:51 am
fury~ hold on. try again in 2 minutes. thanks.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:51 am
He just gave a shout out to us minions on the show.
And Alan does post and respond if he feels the need.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:52 am
alrighty…
July 15th, 2008 at 12:52 am
How sweet! Tongue and Cheek . . Dave . .
July 15th, 2008 at 12:53 am
I’ve got to wonder how many of these callers are serious or just trying to get his goat.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:53 am
Alright, I’m outta here…nighty night all
July 15th, 2008 at 12:54 am

July 15th, 2008 at 12:54 am
What the hell are you talking about Paul?
July 15th, 2008 at 12:55 am
dave, what did you mean earlier when you said you were painting your minions?
July 15th, 2008 at 12:55 am
Here come the best part of the show . . Aln you should do a one sentence only for ten minutes . . LOL
July 15th, 2008 at 12:55 am
i was ignoring his comments… i think he’s upset bc alan hasn’t plugged his book or something. it’s an interesting book if you’re into fantasy.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:56 am
I see.
July 15th, 2008 at 12:57 am
I don’t know what the hell are you talking about . . .?

July 15th, 2008 at 11:40 am
