TDro: I freely admit that I really suck at deliberately misspelling people’s names.. it’s obvious I’m not operating at the superior intelligence levels of the Left.
Your insults crack me up! They’re completely stupid (but then again I don’t expect any intelligent conversation coming from that side).
Conservative: They’re so eager to label someone a bigot, racist, sexist, hater, Islamophobe, etc… etc.. that they’re practically ejaculating while they rush to say it without considering for a second the validity of it.
TDro,
I’m a true conservative. Labeling me with your favorite word actually shows your ignorance to it’s meaning. However, I’m not the least bit surprised. How about it Vince P. Does this clown know his stuff?
“Fury defends the killers of gays, the beheaders of jews, the slaughters of daughters and wives. the mutilators of women’s genitalia.”
Fury, is this true? And if so, when did you become a neocon? The neocons now think they’re psychic!

McCain is obviously wrong, but you have to admit that this is a damned good sound bite.
July 22nd, 2008 at 7:58 pm
lol, danielle. good job!
July 22nd, 2008 at 7:59 pm
Even given the fact that Obama has repeatedly stated this war was not justified, for anybody to suggest that he would actually desire to “lose a war” is both insane and hateful.
July 22nd, 2008 at 8:04 pm
Alan, I just watched the segment on Hannity & Colmes with the veteran who was spit on. I understand you wanting to get the point across that all anti-war people don’t act like that. Having said that, you really went easy on those thugs at the protest. As a Democrat you should be more full-throated in your condemnation of that kind of repugnant and yes, anti-American behavior. Those morons do hate this country and do hate the military.
July 22nd, 2008 at 9:58 pm
What a moron…and this is the best the US has to offer up as a presidential candidate. Come on! What is the world coming to when scumbags like this can get so close to the highest office. The only thing worse is the fact that roughly 50% of the people who get off their fat asses to vote will actually cast for this guy. And I thought Bu$h was bad!!

This election seems to have the “Hand of God” acting on it in ways never seen before. We are trying to decide between “Good and Evil” when both sides are capable of doing both. McCain is doing evil as he tries to claim credit for the work of our troops and the surge. If we send enough troops anywhere in the world they will win. We didn’t send enough and we had to admit failure for the surge to take place. Winning in Iraq is about Iraqi freedom. It’s evil to claim that someone doesn’t want America to win. Obama isn’t all that good either. His administration has just pledged not to hold accountable those who destroyed the Constitution. We were sick of partisan politics pitting one party against the next. Have we placed Harvard graduates above all? If you break the Constitution that’s treason and a good reason to be held accountable. Evil would ignore the facts to play by the same rules. We will impeach Obama if he screws up! Democrats need a credible VP for America.

What thread are you looking at Alan?
July 23rd, 2008 at 12:08 am
Even the name of the thread has no basis in truth: Hussein wants to lose in Irak?
McCain said Hussein would rather he win politically even if it meant that America lose.
Jimmy Carter and Hussein Obama are so similar? Some people call them Car-Bama
Americans are waking up from the hypnosis and saying NO to Car-Bama or just “NObama”
July 23rd, 2008 at 12:31 am
Good job tonight Alan, you flat out lied to the viewers against when you falsely claimed that Pat Caddell is a “Democratic strategist”.
Caddell is a Republican who has only worked on Republican campaigns for the last 20 years. HE HAS NOT WORKED FOR A DEMOCRAT SINCE 1988. Caddell works for REPUBLICANS now. Stop lying you gutless weasel.
July 23rd, 2008 at 12:45 am
The line is good, but McCain’s smile afterward hurts its effectiveness. He looks like a child that gets approval for being able to put the milk cap back on without help. He should have kept a tense look and not responded happily to the applause of his supporters.
July 23rd, 2008 at 7:05 am
Say Hello to your new President…..President John McCain. Former POW. Obama? Former ???? Well I forget what he did. Oh yeah….Post Turtle.
July 23rd, 2008 at 8:07 am
McCain = Fool
July 23rd, 2008 at 10:11 am
I think the creepiest thing about this is that smile after he says that. Obama wants to lose the war, he’s resposible for high gas prices. These are pathetic attacks and are getting desperate. Now McCain has JV Press Corps media tags with a French guy on the other side. I guess they are going with the angry old coot strategy.
McCain | Make me President and get off my lawn you damn kids.

Old Man Yells at Cloud…
July 23rd, 2008 at 11:30 am
McCain and other Republicans have stated that victory in Iraq would be a stable Iraq. That is like asking for peace between Israel and Palestine. The Middle East is always going to be a hot bed of conflict due to its Religious Fundamentalism. Should we invade Palestine or Lebanon because they have unstable governments? No. If we used the conservative logic for Iraq we should invade nations all over the world who have unstable governments. Why then are do we have troops still in nations that have stable governments? If unstable v. stable is the qualification for a military presence we should pull out of the hundreds of bases around the world. We should have pulled out the military after Iraq held their first vote. There is no logical reason to keep 130,000 plus soldiers in Iraq. They have their sovereignty, a police force and an elected Theocratic government. What more is there to win in Iraq? McCain and other Republicans would have us believe that the front on the war on terror is still in Iraq. President Bush has stated that Saddam and Iraq had nothing to do with Sept. 11th, 2001. Terrorist Insurgents did not arrive in Iraq until after we removed Saddam from power. The front in the fight on terror is in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, and many other places including Saudi Arabia. There is still violence in Iraq even though some claim the surge was a success. The success is that the terrorists have moved to other areas. Just as in Vietnam and the Tet Offensive, Iraq will see a rise in sectarian violence before we can say mission accomplished. We could remain there for 2,000 years and there will always be some excuse for keeping troops there. That is the surge has succeeded in making Afghanistan and Pakistan the terrorist focus. The war in Iraq was built on faulty reasoning, lies, deception, manipulation, and greed. What greed? War profiteering from no-bid contracts via the privatization of much of the conflict. Oil and the price of oil are another fringe benefit of destabilization of the Middle East. Staying in Iraq will keep the price inflated due to the geopolitical risk factor. How would someone influence the price of oil on the world market? Destabilize the supply side. Iraq has added to devaluing not only the value of the dollar due to debt, but it has also added to the speculator influenced increase in oil price thanks to our blunder. From a political and policy aspect Iraq is a failure. But is could be considered a success for those who wished for oil to increase in price. Even tough talk about Iran can raise the price of oil. It should not be a big secret that any action in the Middle East can affect oil. Sadly many Americans do not realize this fact. I ask you, is all the tough talk on Iran and the war in Iraq more than just a national security aspect? Is it all a sly market manipulation? I think we would be naive to think otherwise. What if the oil is not the focus and instead the real focus has been the price of oil? I would like to ask McCain and other Republicans if they moved a major amount of money to oil futures or energy sector stock, before or right after the invasion of Iraq? We should have an investigation into market activity and policy activity? The American people deserve it.
July 23rd, 2008 at 12:06 pm
McCain has no clue as to what he’s talking about. Pretty much like Dubya.
July 23rd, 2008 at 1:46 pm
McCain | So out of touch, his own party doesn’t know what he’s doing.
July 23rd, 2008 at 2:03 pm
The smirk on McCain’s face after the remark really ruins the effect for him. He was acting so serious and then he put on the “Aren’t I clever” smirk that Bush has trademarked!
July 23rd, 2008 at 2:44 pm
Burt,
The better candidates of both parties lost to these morons.
July 23rd, 2008 at 4:36 pm
John David Prince,
Muslims are our enemies. Their Quran teaches it, and they live according to its teachings. Saudi Arabia is not our friend. They only wish us to think so because we are their largest customer. If and when we become independent of their oil, then you will see how they truly feel about America.
July 23rd, 2008 at 4:49 pm
“Saudi Arabia is not our friend.”
George Bush and his daddy beg to differ.
July 23rd, 2008 at 5:16 pm
“Muslims are our enemies.”
Wow that is a very tolerant response. How about this one:
Conservatives are assholes.
July 23rd, 2008 at 5:55 pm
FuRyUs,
You must be a Muslim who hates hearing the truth. Bite me.

Vince P,
Where does this guy get his info? The world, and National news media have all broadcast the Muslim death threats towards Americans and America. He mentions tolerance as though he was the epitomy of nobility. Muslims have promised to murder us. I say he, and they can kiss my American ass, and bring it.

Conservative: In the twisted mind of a Leftist, the greatest crime is inequality.
Because Conservatives believe in Liberty and not equality of outcomes there is the basic conflict…
The Collectivism of the Left, which is the high of moral goodness.. and the selfish individualism of the Right, which to the Left, is evil incarnate.
Thus to the Left, the right is not only wrong.. it is evil and immoral. And thus evil is worthy to hate.
Because they recongize that Islam is also against indivudualism, in thier Marxist POV, the Left view the Muslims as a kindred spirit. The Muslims are merely revolutionaries trying to reclaim their culture from the evil imperialism of the West.
And so the Left finds common cause with the Muslim’s Jihad against those who refuse to submit.
What the Left doesn’t realize is that the Muslims do not distingiush between liberty-loving Non-Mulsims and Fascist collectivist Non-Muslims. They have a mandate from Allah to conquer all.
This was the mistake that Leftists in Iran made when they joined with the mullahs in revoltuion against the Shah. The Left thought they were friends with the religious parties.
After the Shah’s govt was torn down and the Mullahs got the reigns of power, the Mullahs annihilated the secular Persian leftists who helped them.
The Muslims will do the same to our Left.
But our Left is too stupid to know this because they too are on a holy Jihad agianst individualism, and the Christianity that gave birth to notions of individual dignity and freedom of conscience.
And just as the Left has absolutely no reservations about violating any of their so-called principles, they are equally willing to give the Muslims a pass for the Muslims flagrant opposition to everything the Left *claims* to stand for.
July 23rd, 2008 at 8:26 pm
Thus to the Left, the right is not only wrong.. it is evil and immoral. And thus evil is worthy to hate.

Like this only applies to the left…

Obama’s Jewish mouth piece, Democrat Congressman Robert Wexler – FL, has not lived in his home state of FL for over 10 years. This is in direct violation of FL election law.
Yet another manifestation of the culture of corruption that the Pelosi Democrats have fostered.
Is there anyone associated with Obama who is not a criminal or corrupt?
July 24th, 2008 at 3:20 am
Still no credit for being first to comment on his goofy smile.
July 24th, 2008 at 5:22 am
Vince P,
John David Prince Is correct. Israel is a peaceful nation, however, they are’nt dillusional as we and the rest of the worlds governments. They know who they’re true enemies are, and a true peace will never be accepted by the Muslim Nations who themselves admit it. The rest of the worlds’ leaders are in denial. That hideous liberal disease.
July 24th, 2008 at 11:52 am
Conservative: The entire world is playing with fire by allowing these terrorist groups to grow into proto-states.
They need to be crushed.
The first step is to get rid of the State Dept and the CIA and replace them with new institutions that put America first , not elitist Left-wing ideology.
