Obama Is A Castro-Loving Commie
That must be the message this ad, “PAID FOR BY JOHN MCCAIN 2008″, intends to convey. Republicans disgustingly tried this in 2004 with Max Cleland by trying to associate him with bin Laden and, in June, McCain had an ad associating Obama with Ahmadinejad. McCain, himself, has said that just because someone endorses him, that does not mean he embraces what they stand for.

The Republicans seem to be hysterical!

Of course an american politician wouldn’t embrace what other deplorable leaders stand for.
It’s just strange why these leaders support democrats. What is it they see in democrats that they feel would help their cause.
July 24th, 2008 at 12:08 pm
so much for that “clean campaign” based on the issues that McCain promised to run.
July 24th, 2008 at 12:17 pm
I want Barack to admit that The Sergei works hard for the money, so hard for you, honey, so you better treat him right. Alright?
July 24th, 2008 at 12:18 pm
Not like the Saudis, the Chinese and the Pakistanis, and all the other rightwing dictators who support Republicans.
“What is it they see in democrats that they feel would help their cause.”
Could it be unregulated free markets and arms sales?
July 24th, 2008 at 12:29 pm
This is so fucking pathetic. The Repubes are getting desparate. If they think they can scare everyone again, they are fools. After the election, Obama will have a majority in both houses to fix the mess these idiots have made. Listen to these people attack Obama. They don’t have anything so they create things. It’s sad. The next four years at least, they will be in the background and ignored. Just like the Democrats were for 6 years…
July 24th, 2008 at 12:55 pm
We have’nt been attacked within our borders by terrorists since 911. Except for those inside our borders illegally, the only other immediate threats to our country is the mindless God unto himself Obama, the simply midless McCain, and mmmm, oh yes, the other mindless God unto himself, OldLefty.
July 24th, 2008 at 12:57 pm
P.S.,
Let’s add FuRyUs to the list. He’s getting quite hysterical in his rantings is’nt he. Poor baby.
July 24th, 2008 at 12:59 pm
I’d expect to see this type of slime in an internet ad, but not from the McCain campaign itself. Let’s hope that the politics of fear won’t be enough for him this time.
July 24th, 2008 at 1:21 pm
is’nt he
Still learning contractions?
July 24th, 2008 at 1:23 pm
We have’nt
Missed that one above too. Poor baby didn’t graduate high school. I’ll help your ignorance with a short grammar lesson.
have’nt | haven’t
is’nt | isn’t
P.S., | it is (it’s not i’ts) ps. no comma needed, no punctuation (that’s not too big a word for you is it?)
Maybe your idiotic points would be a little more credible if you had a rudimentary (another big word) knowledge of the English language.
July 24th, 2008 at 1:33 pm
…and before that, we haven’t been attacked inside our borders since 1942.
July 24th, 2008 at 1:39 pm

Wise Fat Guru- LOL. I missed your brand of comments.
Alex said-
“so much for that “clean campaign” based on the issues that McCain promised to run.”
Well Alex, IF this ad blows up in McCain’s face he will then say that “so and so does not speak for me” and fire the person responsible for putting the ad together.
TDro- great point about Pearl Harbor! that’s a point that cons and libs both have forgotten to mention.
TDro and Fury- LOL LOL LOL

When you look at the Huff Post article Alan sites for us, it takes you to another story they did in May 2008 detailing Castro’s displeasure with Obama. Here’s the end of the article. Note what some Cuban citizens are saying about the possibility of Obama speaking directly with their leaders.
Castro said Obama’s proposals for letting well-off Cuban Americans help poorer relatives on the island amounted to “propaganda for consumerism and a way of life that is unsustainable.”
He complained that Obama’s description of Cuba as “undemocratic” and “lacking in respect for liberty and human rights” was the same argument previous U.S. administrations “have used to justify their crimes against our homeland.”
Castro, 81, has not been seen in public since undergoing emergency surgery in July 2006, but he often publishes columns in state newspapers.
Obama’s calls for direct talks with Cuban leaders differ sharply from a more hardline policy favored by current President Bush and Republican presidential candidate John McCain, whom Castro also has criticized.
Castro’s column came three days after a prominent dissident group wrote an open letter to Obama suggesting that his idea of talking directly with Cuban leaders could help win freedom for prisoners.
“We have great hope that you can contribute to the immediate, unconditional liberation” of prisoners, wrote the Ladies in White, a group formed by relatives of people jailed in a government crackdown on political opposition in 2003.

Once again the old… “We have’nt been attacked within our borders by terrorists since 911″
Why would you think we would have been?
There were 8 years between attacks.
Are we to believe that al Qaeda suddenly became stonger between the time that Bush ran on ‘no nation building, and used people like Sami Al-Arian* to campaign for him, and 9/11?
The only people I know who thought there was going another attack were those who consumed right wing media, although, if you were al Qaeda, and you were capable of another attack, and you loved Bush’s policies, you WOULD lay low so as to keep his ilk in power.
* Al-Arian had unusual credentials for a Bush campaigner. Since 1995, as the founder and chairman of the board of World and Islam Enterprise (WISE), a Muslim think tank, Al-Arian had been under investigation by the FBI for his associations with Islamic Jihad, the Palestinian terrorist group. Al-Arian brought in Ramadan Abdullah Shallah, the No. 2 leader in Islamic Jihad, to be the director of WISE. A strong advocate of suicide bombings against Israel, Shallah was allegedly responsible for killing scores of Israelis in such attacks.
Bush’s pals!
July 24th, 2008 at 2:05 pm
The moral rot that permited these Muslim fifth columnists to intertwine themselves with our power structure affects ALL of Washington.
No party is immune. If you care about the country you would recongize the broader threat.
This isn’t a partisan issue.
But the strange bizarre fact that the Left only raises issues if they could be put into a context to attack Bush tells me that they really dont care.
OldLefty’s motivation isn’t concern of the country.. that might be patriotic… and we all know he’s anything but that. He’s just servicing his politics.

July 24th, 2008 at 2:54 pm
FuRyUs,
Rudimentary. I know you didn’t get from TDro.
July 24th, 2008 at 2:57 pm
Because Bush and Cheney are in the oil business, and more than ANYONE else, their personal fortunes are tied up with the rot. It would not behoove them to be rid of the rot in Saudi.
You don’t see anyone else whose businesses, armed, and trained the forces that keep the royal family in power, or defend the Saudis in a lawsuit against the families of the 9/11 victims.
If Barack Obama had worked for a law firm that did that, it would be 24-7, but rich Republicans…Shhh!
Nobody blusters out threats from radical Islam, WHILE being in bed with them like those in this administration.
July 24th, 2008 at 3:00 pm
Thanks, WFG. I guess that means I’ll have to create a wordpress.com account…
July 24th, 2008 at 3:01 pm
FuRyUs,
I could care less about your criticism towards me. I only care about the criticism or support of my fellow conservatives. So, with that in mind let me put forth to my fellow conservatives this question for their opinions, good or bad. How am I doing ladies and gentleman?
July 24th, 2008 at 3:05 pm
OldLefty,
Would the Saudis honor any lawsuit brought against by any American? Only you would think so, peabrain.
July 24th, 2008 at 3:18 pm
The Republicans in Congress just blocked the effort to relase oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Why use it now when we could drill offshore and get it 10 years from now?
Conservative, you are on a liberal blog. The only support you have is Vinnie Pee and the pig, David Duke. Maybe none of us care what you say, but you still sicken us.
How am I doing ladies and gentlemen?

You know, when you have to call people names, it just weakens your argument.
July 24th, 2008 at 3:39 pm
This is absurd! John McCain is now John McCshame! I’m so tired of the republican attack machine. Obama 2008! Go Obama!
July 24th, 2008 at 5:01 pm
fury, I have to agree with keeping the oil in the federal reserve. that powers our military and with the situation we’re in now, that is the more important use of the oil. believe me, I would love to be able to take a road trip for pleasure, but as long as OPEC and the politicians have us over a barrel, the reserve is better put to use to protect what little we the people have left.

ICH BIN EINE MUSLIM !!!
July 24th, 2008 at 5:32 pm
But…back to the actual topic of the thread:
What a crock.
“…since Obama became the de facto nominee, Castro has been critical of his candidacy, arguing that he has not called for serious alterations to U.S.-Cuban relations and would willingly allow the island nation to suffer from hunger. Obama, meanwhile, has criticized Castro as a repeated abuser of human rights and a tyrant whose time has passed.”

I had no clue about it. About it’s sincerty.
I think I have watched about 3 minutes of it and I’m absolutely enraged.
This motherfucker Obama is friends with these people.. FRIENDS.
July 24th, 2008 at 7:43 pm
Vince P,
Still believe he may be a Christian?
July 24th, 2008 at 7:47 pm
I never accepted he’s an orthodox christian. It’s so easy to notice that by the way he talks about it.
I dont believe he is of any religion.. he’s a Marxist. He only uses religion to establish himself with a community with whom religious affiliation helps his own ascendacy to power.
That is the philosophy that lays at the core of Black Liberation Theology. BLT is a Latin-America-flavored Marxist mutant with the trappings of Christianity.
July 24th, 2008 at 7:57 pm
Oh get over it, VP. If they were conservatives, you’d call them freedom fighters.
July 24th, 2008 at 8:06 pm
Sky,
Sorry to rain on your parade. Are you disgusted because four of us don’t believe in the Obama God? Or is it because some (like me) believe he’s the Muslim antichrist disguised as a Christian? Go ahead, take your pick.
July 24th, 2008 at 8:19 pm
So I’m wondering … is there anyone on the Left who doesn’t defend terrorists?

The New Republic is noticing how Obama is scared to death that reporters will discover the real him.
Much of this is certainly the run-of-the-mill complaining of campaign reporters who can’t get enough access. Still, the campaign hasn’t helped itself, approaching reporters with a sense of entitlement. “They’re an arrogant operation. Young and arrogant,” one reporter covering the campaign says. “They don’t believe in transparency with their own campaign,” another says.
Reporters who have covered Obama’s biography or his problems with certain voter blocs have been challenged the most aggressively. “They’re terrified of people poking around Obama’s life,” one reporter says. “The whole Obama narrative is built around this narrative that Obama and David Axelrod built, and, like all stories, it’s not entirely true. So they have to be protective of the crown jewels.” Another reporter notes that, during the last year, Obama’s old friends and Harvard classmates were requested not to talk to the press without permission.
As tensions escalate, the risk to Obama, of course, is that reporters will be emboldened to challenge his campaign ever more aggressively.
July 24th, 2008 at 9:06 pm
Alan: Here’s something for you.. You’re Jewish, right?
Scumbag Obama is at the Israeli Holocaust Memorial , Yad Vashem (which I’ve been to.. gut wrenching place) and this is what happens:
An Israeli journalist called out to Obama: “Can you ensure that there will be no second Holocaust?”
Obama walked into the museum’s main building without responding.
[....]
Once again an Israeli journalist asked the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee how he’d help prevent a second Holocaust. “Senator can you assure Israel that there will be no second Holocaust despite Iran’s threat to wipe us off the map?” he asked.
Obama demurred, saying that it wasn’t appropriate to answer the question there.
“This is Yad Vashem!” the journalist responded.
Obama said he would answer the question at a later press availability.
July 24th, 2008 at 9:17 pm
“This is Yad Vashem!” the journalist responded.

”
Vince this is very interesting! Id really like to see if this happened this way (since any big news claim has to be checked out)
Hussein Obama has clearly stated that terrorists lashed out and want violence because it was THEY who were unfairly treated, they just want justice because they are an honest people.
Nobody could POSSIBLY construct a more effortous task as Sen. George Mitchell to deal with mideast peace. The fatal flaw in Mitchells plan is of course that he claims “people got into or created the problem, therefore people can undo or resolve the problem.”
So IF the world happens to have any amount of additive good or evil? Then its NOT all of people’s actions getting into the problem.
And in fact, the problem with radical islamic terrorism is centered on a religion. Irans current dictator has repeatedly said that what the western world (Christians) believe to be Satan is what he (the dictator) worships and wants to help out, and the dictator wants the classical armegeddon to start as soon as possible.
Fools who follow the Mitchell plan say oh, that dictator and his silly religion, nobody REALLY thinks ‘that’… Alls we have to do is give them cash, forgive all their terrorist crimes, murder, genocide and they will live in peace with the world.
Hussein Obama could not possibly construct an effort that exceeds the Mitchell plan, its the pinnacle, the ultimate.
Sort thru all the details, it comes down to ONE THING, either a person says the terrorists are okay, good people who are misunderstood; OR the terrorists are… terrorists and should be exterminated
if Obama takes the path of saying terrorists are good people and we can negotiate with them? Its the Mitchell plan that is proven to be a failure, it is anti Israel and pro terrorist.
OR a person who is correct on terrorism, like President Bush, says anyone who even harbors terrorists is equally as guilty.
We dont even know if Hillary will kick start her 2008 bid again, she could shock everyone and say Obama is a total fool and is not the person she thought he was and she will seek the nomination or if not, then vote for McCain.
That would squash Obama like a cockroach. Sorry no offense intended, cockroaches dont negotiate with megalomaniac dictators to help them get nukes, Hussein Obama promised Iran he would. sorry cockroaches.
