Homewrecking Hooker Has High Hopes

July 27th, 2008, 11:14 AM EDT

That would be Ashley Dupre, the harridan who brought down the governor of New York and, more recently, had an affair with a married New Jersey construction magnate.  According to Sunday’s New York Post, Dupre’s handlers don’t want to debase her by having her do an MTV reality-type show, but instead want something that “cleans up her image.”

Ashey’s interests, says one of her potential dealmakers, LA producer David Krieff,  includes journalism and lounge singing.

“She also has a strong desire to give to a charity,” he said. “She’s very analytical. She wants to help people. She sees herself as a kind of Dr. Phil.”

 Don’t all hookers?

  1. that’s wonderful

  2. The hooker didn’t bring down anyone. She’s a pro, she brought him up, and probably without the help of the little blue pill. She’s hot. Much hotter than the women clinton and John Edwards were caught with.

All kidding aside, She didn’t bring down the governor, it was his actions that brought him down.

  4. They want to clean up her image?

Her image is illicit sex for hire. If you clean that up what’s left? Who is she? Another anonymous adolescent giggling as she bares all for Girls Gone Wild?

If she wants money she should get a show on Comedy Central and do something outrageous that capitalizes on her career in sex.

  5. hey, maybe she’s a priestess, like Inara.

  6. One word says it all: BIMBO

  7. Her stomach seems over developed, like she does 50 crunches too many, or has a bit of under muscle fat.

  8. Speaking of debasing, doesn’t it debase this blog to have Ashley Dupre as a topic? Is this an important issue? You mention the New York Post–that right-wing sensationalist rag is exactly where I’d expect to find this article.

  9. “She’s very analytical. She wants to help people. She sees herself as a kind of Dr. Phil.”

After looking at her photo, I feel better already.

    Thanks, Alan

  10. Religion.

Nothing cleans a prostitute up like being “born again”. Being born again is like getting a do over. Or, like Bon Ami (Hasn’t Scratched Yet!!!) for the soul.

If that fails to clean her up, she can always pull a Jimmy Swaggart (option #1): “I have sinned against you, my Lord, and I would ask that your precious blood would wash and cleanse every stain until it is in the seas of God’s forgiveness.”

Failing all that, Swaggart option #2: “The Lord told me it’s flat none of your business.”

  11. Maybe she’ll be the new Ted Haggart

  12. “Is this an important issue?”

Well, it’s kind of a tradition on the Alan Colmes radio show to cover the important as well as the trivial, if the trivial is a matter of general curiosity, or it’s funny, or just generally entertaining, and if there’s some prurient value too well then what the heck.

“You mention the New York Post–that right-wing sensationalist rag…”

I’ve never heard Alan say this, or anything to this effect, and I don’t believe he’s posted anything of the kind here on LiberlLand, though I would certainly agree that the Post is a tawdry tabloid, and I posted something to this effect else on this blog.

  13. Maybe I didn’t make myself clear. I myself referred to the New York Post as a “right-wing sensationalist rag.” I wasn’t attempting to speak for Alan.

In any event, I still don’t think that we should spend our time on Ashley Dupre’s affairs. Let’s leave that for the Post.
