Well, Colmes it has been a pleasure to watch Hannity & Colmes without you. No condescending of the guests, no snide remarks, and someone who can really debate the issues.

Have you considered letting someone like Susan Estrich take your place. She is so informed on the issues and can debate an issue intelligently. It is refreshing to be able to actually find positions of guests and not hullabaloo.

So why not make your vacation permanent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aloha,

I think Susan Estrich would be a GREAT permanent replacement for Alan Colmes. She doesn’t rudley interrupt like colmes does when he doesn’t like what he’s hearing, she isn’t passive aggressive like Colmes and she doesn’t try to sneak in a last second negative comment that the guest has no chance to reply to.I wonder how long Mr.Colmes marriage will last??Oh,and the best part she’s fair and she’s not a whiny little baby and she’s smart.
She’d be great!!!

Subject: REPLACE ALAN COLMES

I hope Alan’s recent absense may be the precursor to his removal from the Hannity & “No-More-Colmes” Show. Sadly I am probably wrong. Prsonally he is probably a nice person. Professionally he is VERY NON-Objective and Extremely Biased. Not good for a Network that prides itself on “Fair & Balanced”. Fox News could easily find a Journalist that is Democrat but also performs Objective Reporting and is “Fair & Balanced”. REcently he said to one guest on the show something like “Oh since you do not want to answer the question you make another point”. SHOCK!!!! ALAN DOES THAT ALL THE TIME. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. How juvenile but worse unprofessional!!!!!!

Fox News should replace Alan Colmes!!!!!!!! Alan is a disgrace to the profession of journalism and the standards projected by Fox News, their professional image and their effort to conduct fair and objective reporting. He does not represent any of those criteria!!!

HE belongs on MSNBC or CNN IF he belongs anywhere. Better yet just join the Tabloid Media because that is his manner of reporting as an alleged News Person.

After years of watching this show he has digressed to an intolerable state of professionalism and credibility….

You have a right to your opinion but the way you treat your conservative guests is appalling! You do not have

to decency to let a person even talk without interrupting. Then when you state your opinions you do not even

know what you are talking about. You are certainly ill informed.

My blood pressure goes up at just the sight of you. Not mentioning what you do to my stomach.

I am actually used as medicine for those with low blood pressure. I raise it to normal levels. Until we get national health care, this saves many Americans money on prescription drugs.

Responses to this post...

  1. I like the one about pounding your [pud]. LOL !
    Nothing anti-American there ! LOL !

  2. This song again??

  3. How can someone know if Alan is a socialist from his tv/radio jobs. It’s called entertainment. Now on the other hand, if he was Alan’s neighbor and saw the real Alan he might have a point. After all, nothing says socialist like having obama for president yard signs.

I wonder if Alan isn’t posting the best of his hate mail, Alan’s tv buddy sean plays his hate voicemails with all the bleeps where people on the left are proving their intolerance for others that don’t share their views. Strange, one would think that those same people on the left would hate those islamic freaks that are ready to kill all gays and consider women nothing but property.

Something I do find scary. Alan in his reply to suzie brags about the medical benefits others receive from him. Is Alan licensed from the government to be involved in the health care industry. Maybe it’s time for the authorities to investigate if Alan is also doing any surgeries in his garage.

  4. Alan, ask Sean why does he play the song Independence Day,for bumper music for his radio show ect.ect.The song has nothing to do with patriotism. Its a song about domestic violence. The little girls Mom killed her Dad,they said he was a dangerous man.Let freedom ring, and the little girl, they took her to the county home.

  5. Your mailbox is some of the most depressing dreck I’ve ever seen. I don’t know why you subject yourself to the abject hatered of Fox viewers who demand a one sided reinforcement of their partisan and unrealistic views.

I watch your show regularly and unlike your pen pals, understand that Hannity is so far right that even Fox sees the need to balance his rabid inviction with a competent voice from the left.

My only complaint is that the show follows a format where Hannity and guests bash the Democrats du jour in segment after segment, often with only you speaking in their defence. Seldom do we see segments giving equal initiative to Republican transgressors. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you and a Democratic guest bring light to a Republican scandal with Sean alone left to defend.

If anything, your hatemail from people who probably walk the dog, tip the paperboy, and attend church after writing insults that would likely result in physical altercation if delivered in person, is very revealing of the hatred that seems to fuel the Republican party these days.

(As an aside, I understand that gun sales are up 10% in Texas this year, from fears that “the wrong people” may get elected this fall.)

Though like most of the nonprolific, all caps writing, spelling bee dropouts who fill your mailbox with grammar challenged vitriol, I too wish you would take a contract with a competing network. Then I can remove Fox News from my cable lineup altogether.

Hang in there Alan, without you H&C would sink in the ratings like a concrete rowboat. Or in other words…Glenn Beck

  6. I’d more like to know how many times people need to be told the abbreviation is etc, not ect..

  7. I am a Conservative Republican, but see no need for the insulting remarks about Alan’s appearance and his opinions. That’s what they are, opinions! If Sean can state his, (and I think they’re sensible) then certainly Alan can state his, no matter how I disagree. I think that might be where all of the “fair and balanced” that we always try to defend, comes from–letting people have their say.
Rush Limbaugh is no great shakes in the looks department, yet he has the largest following in talk radio and states his opinion loudly! The only difference is, there’s no one on there to really debate with him, like there is on the Hannity and Colmes show.
Sorry, Alan, for the meanness of all us Conservatives.

  8. Well just know Alan that many of us are happy you are back and hope you had a good vacation. Looking forward the venom from the callers Monday night.

  9. Alan, is there a forum planned?

  10. The only difference is, there’s no one on there to really debate with him [rush], like there is on the Hannity and Colmes show.

From the way rush rattles on I feel he would welcome someone from the other side of the isle/sewer to debate him. The problem is, are there any democrats that are up to the challenge. Rush succeeded in the radio business while air america needed that kid’s charity $ to keep up and running.

  18. No, I mean a forum as in threads and subforums, with moderators, and such. A live chat is something else. This is closer to a forum than a chat room, but it’s not organized in the way a forum usually is.

This would be an example of a forum: http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/

  19. The length of some of the debates here rather call for one, I think.

  20. It will be good to have you back on TV. I’m no liberal, but enjoy the sparring with Hannity. I agree with most conservative viewpoints, but re3spect the other side. DON’T leave the show. But if you do, get Henican or Beckel to fill in.

  24. Bah-loney.

We could open up the whole world by Congressional fiat and there’s nothing that says Exxon-Mobile has to plant a single drill rig–and they won’t, unless they get their price point.

But if the Republicans get what they want, including more welfare for corporations, we’ll just go ambling along with no energy policy for the next fifty years till the last drop of oil is gone.

And then we’ll be forced to recognize what the word “catastrophe” really means.

  27. It’s mostly a voice thing. I have a terrible voice, worse than Henicans, and wouldn’t want to be a host for anything.

  28. The oil companies want to establish a monopoly by buying up all the land. Once they start drilling, the gas will go to the highest bidder. They have no allegiance to the United States. They will take the oil drilled here and sell it to India, if the price is right.

  38. Had to say it twice cuz he’s always right on with his bullshit…

  39. Bruce writes, “Not good for a Network that prides itself on “Fair & Balanced”. Fox News could easily find a Journalist that is Democrat but also performs Objective Reporting and is “Fair & Balanced”.”

FOX News is “fair and balanced”? Please. Let’s not confuse the slogan with the reality. FOX News is nothing more than a Republican propaganda center posing as a news channel. That’s the way right-wing owner Rupert Murdoch wants it. Sure, there may be a few liberal hosts like Alan, but that doesn’t change the overall slant of the station. I recommend that readers check out “Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War On Journalism”:

  40. “Here is the entire work load…”

    Well, it’s not.

  41. Alan, I hope your vacation went well. Once your back in the office please fire the chick who took your place, Kirsten Powers? Why foxnews wastes the viewers time with her? a mystery.

Karl Rove caught her is a blatant lie over the Hussein Obama thing of him refusing to visit the troops in Germany. she lied and said the reason Rove gave was an untrue distortion, Hussein didnt say any such thing? Rove got the transcript, Kirsten was caught lying, she was embarassed to talk with Rove after the commercial break.

All she can do is lie, why not replace her with a computer program that is a programmed contrarian? no its not! no it doesnt! youre wrong! the democrat is correct and wonderful… see how easy it is?

However while I disagree with Susan Estrich politically she did a far better job

  42. All the hatred from Americans revolves around a failed system of politics, ie. reps. and dems. and there is nothing we can do about it. All we are allowed to do is pull a lever and then nothing changes. Americans have been screwed, so we just whine and bitch, because that is all we can do and the politicians know this.

We need to unite as Americans, not politicians and take this country back for us, not them.

We need to over take this government and do away with politicians and run them out of Washington D.C.

  43. Susan E sucked up to Hannity and rarely challenged his line of thinking like he’s right. The only thing worse than a spineless liberal is one who sucks too.
