Lindsay’s Lohan Dad Won’t Walk Her Down The Aisle

Michael Lohan says if Lindsay and “gal pal” Sam Ronson decide to tie the knot, she knows he wouldn’t walkher down the aisle because of his faith.

“I haven’t heard anything (about an upcoming wedding) from Lindsay, but if she was marrying Sam, I don’t think she’d ask me to walk her down the aisle,” says Michael. “She knows about my (Christian) faith … she just wouldn’t ask.”

And, yet, he says, “I want her to be happy.”  Does “happy” mean “heterosexual”?

He obviously would prefer that she be unquestionably straight, but I don’t mind his decision, though it can be called selfish, because he’s not taking a legislative position against gay marriage, only refusing to be associated with one, albeit one in which his daughter would be married, hence the selfishness, that of putting his daughter after his faith. But he doesn’t have to attend a gay wedding, even his own daughter’s, should that happen, if he doesn’t want to. Compelling him to wouldn’t be fair.

  6. Lindsey is trying hard to be a self-destructive, wanna-be, Marilyn Monroe. She has surpassed Britney in this quest. Britney just kissed Madonna and she spiraled out of control. Kissing this Sam is like kissing dirt. This is a nobody who is probably helping Lindsey keep her addiction and “Death Wish” going. I think we need an intervention in Miss Lohan’s life in the worst way. If Britney and Paris can get better, then she has a shot. Does she want to be removed from the spotlight? She just got her wish. In the words of Eminem, “Say Goodbye to Hollywood Lindsey!” You are radioactive.

However, there are fundamentalists out there who believe that life goes on after death, and we should live our physical life in a way that will earn us our spiritual life. The die-hard insistence on everyone following this belief contributes to the environment of intolerance.
