• Is President Bush burying his head in the sand by denying that America has problems? Alan takes an honest look.

  1. On Friday’s show the question was asked if anyone is really “pro-poverty”.

The answer to this is illuminated in the 2006 multiple-award winning documentary Maxed Out: Hard Times, Easy Credit and the Era of Predatory Lenders.

  2. Howard Wolfson commented today that if the Edwards scandal had broken before the Primaries, Hillary would have won the Iowa Caucaus. I thought she came in third. Anyway, that didn’t happen. As far as I know, there isn’t a time machine Hillary can use. So, as of today, she still lost. The Clintons have redefined the meaning of sore loser. They lost. Get over it. What is the point to keep fucking whining about it? For Christ’s Sake…

  3. If Mark Penn hadn’t been running the campaign at the beginning she would have won…

  4. If she hadn’t taken both sides of the Illegal’s Driver license in that early debate and lost her huge lead in the polls, she would have won…

  5. If she had voted against the Iraq Resolution, she would have won…

  6. SHE DIDN’T FUCKING WIN!

    SHE LOST!

  7. If she costs Obama the election and McCain wins, why does she think any Obama supporters would vote for her in 2012? Every Democrat will get fed up with Billary if that happens. Another 4 years of Republican bullshit because her ego was hurt? The Clintons acted like the Republicans in the Primaries. She thought more of McCain than Obama.

    Hillary the Swine!

  8. Hillary Clinton Campaign Debt: 20 million dollars…

    Personal Debt: 11 million dollars…

The knowledge she will never be President: Priceless…

  9. “Is President Bush burying his head in the sand by denying that America has problems?”

Absolutely not. There’s no problem with his America. Everything’s fine. He’s making money. Hell, he’s even got us paying corporations to guard our own military bases in Iraq. Why don’t we just out-source our whole military to mercs and then Georgie and his friends can make even more money?

  10. Bush burying his head in the sand?
I saw this interview & figured this was just more of the same ol’ dumb stuff he always says…
Would we expect that he would suddenly have something intelligent to say after all these years?
As Gebhardt said more than 6 years ago, “This president is a miserable failure.”
Bush & Putin have a lot in common (militaristic police state politics and secrecy), except that Putin seems, unfortunately, to be smarter.

  11. Excellent interview,Alan! Great start for the show!

  12. Mel certainly knows who’s buttering his toast. Nice work. As usual, his check is in the mail.

If the Bush team sits on their hands and lets Putin get away with taking Georgia back under the Soviet umbrella, Bush is now an appeaser.

Appeaseto yield or concede to the belligerent demands of (a nation, group, person, etc.) in a conciliatory effort, sometimes at the expense of justice or other principles.

    Appeaser.

  13. Alan, Ask him if he believes Suskind’s claims are valid?

  14. Alan:

Where are all the liberals screaming knives ought to be banned, especially in China. Had the poor victims been shot,an outcry would have ensued?

    ; D

  15. MORE CHICS IN SWIMSUITS PLEASE!!!!!!

  16. America has lost it’s moral authority to lead and the world is a more dangerous place due to the shortsighted selfish policies of the Bush administration. The world is run by pirates operating under a foolish paradigm. There is no accountability and you can take what booty you desire. Putin and Bush are “Soulmates.” America took Iraq, now Russia can take what it wants. China is a bit busy hosting the Olympics. It will be free to do what it wants after the competition. We must return the world to civility. 20 Jihidiots cannot just walk into a Super Power and bring us to our knees. Stupidity can’t be rewarded with no accountability and re-selection.

  17. Was quiet here tonight.

When the living room is filled with women: talk, talk, talk; blabber, blabber, blabber. The men can’t get a word in edgewise.

Then, the women (except for Mary) leave for the kitchen and all the men sit around in silence anyway.
