McCain: “Sometimes I’m Given To A Little Hyperbole”
Speaking in Aspen on Thursday with the Aspen Institute’s Walter Isaacson, denouncing torture, and being reminded that he called the Supreme Court decision granting rights to Gitmo detainees “one of the worst decisions in the history of this country”, McCain backed way off that point of view. In fact he seems to be all over the place on the issue of Habeas Corpus.

Does McCain know what he’s doing? After he got the nomination, which he only got because Repubs thought he was the best chance out of all the idiots running, he hasn’t been able to stay on message for a full day. It is a pathetic campaign. They’re not even trying anymore. Their plan is to make this about Obama. Great strategy. We don’t know what we want for the country, but please don’t vote for Obama.
