• Alan discusses the latest on the presidential race with Howard Wolfson, former Communications Director for the Hillary Clinton campaign.
• Obama says he’s picked his running mate. But just who would be the best choice?
Tommy Chong, author of Cheech & Chong: The Unauthorized Autobiography, tells Alan why the legendary comedy duo is finally reuniting.

  1. This was answered on Red Eye: Money.

Thanks go to Chong for his honesty.

  2. Oops.

“Sen. David Vitter, R-La., can use his campaign funds to pay for some of his legal fees stemming from an escort service scandal, the Federal Election Commission decided Thursday.”

    Good job, Brownie.

  3. I’m not saying he’d be the wise political choice, but I like Kerry, at least as a defender of Obama. He does a good job.

  4. So how about that, is John Kerry out of the question?

  5. I’ll be listening but not here, because everyone gives a crap about that.

  6. RC, The FEC probably also allows using campaign money to pay for ..Viagra. But, since he is a Republican, he probably needs it (to enhance brain function of course).
Actually, I’m hoping there will be free samples of Viagra passed out at Rep. Convention. Could make for some interesting entertainment.
Oh, I forgot…Senators have health insurance that pays for Viagra so he won’t have to use campaign funds.

  7. Hey Mary, don’t forget about the Repubelickan Convention. It’s the same building that Obama won the primaries (whether Hillary wanted to admit it or not) and every Repub that flies in will be at the same airport with Larry Craig’s Hall of Fame Potty…

  8. “Rupubelickan” ah ha ha! that’s the best!
I hope there’s a plaque in the HOF potty to commemorate…maybe Larry will be there to give tours!

  9. Did anybody get that e-mail or text message yet……It really is amazing how Obama and his team can keep his veep-pick so well under wraps.

Well if that do that then the Republicans will just look like the big pricks we’ve always known they are.

  11. Great to hear Tommy on the show. Bring both he and Cheece on together and do a short radio skit. That would be golden.
