What’s Good for the Goose…
The McCain camp is angry that Cindy McCain is shown in this ad that is being put out by the Florida Democratic Party:
McCain communications director Jill Hazelbaker says, “It is profoundly disappointing to see surrogates for Barack Obama attacking Cindy McCain, particularly after Obama himself claimed that ‘families are off limits’ and pledged to ‘speak out against’ attacks on spouses in this campaign. If Barack Obama expects the American people to believe he is a man of his word, he has a personal responsibility to condemn this ad.”
As if Republican state committees haven’t used Michelle Obama in their own attack ads. Remember this one from the Washington State GOP?
Or this one from the Tennessee GOP?
Pretending to show a little class, the McCain campaign distanced itself from those ads when they came out, with advisor Nicole Wallace saying, “Senator McCain has spoken out very clearly that neither spouse should be a target during this campaign.”
But McCain’s team wasn’t practicing what they were preaching. Back in February, Cindy McCain herself took a shot at Michelle Obama at a rally, saying, “I’m proud of my country, I don’t know about you, if you heard those words earlier. I am very proud of my country.” That, of course, was in reference to Michelle Obama’s comments about being “really proud of my country,” which were predictably taken out of context by Republicans.

The only way to get around the state of Arizona is by small private plane?
I’m sure I’ve traveled north/south/east/west through Arizona on something called a “highway” in a vehicle called a “truck”. I’m sure I shared the “highway” with small, enclosed, self-propelled metal enclosures called “cars”.
$500 for a pair of fancy Italian “slippers”? I guess it’s an acquired taste.

I like the use of bush in the ads.
Oh yeah, bush isn’t running again.
Maybe the reps can run an ad of obama with hillary. Naw, way to childish.

Well Cindy should be proud of her country. Look at all the money she’s got.

Why was it OK to trash T H Kerry? Her fortune came from selling condements, unlike Cindy Mac whos fortune comes from pushing booze. Ever seen anybody die from sclerosis of the liver? It aint pretty. Since when did alchoholism become a family value?

And yet the kennedys are one of the grand political families in america.
You did know the kennedy wealth that is hidden in trust accounts and offshore accounts was made by selling “booze” during prohibition don’t you?

“Well Cindy should be proud of her country. Look at all the money she’s got.”
What is it with liberals and their hatred of success? What has happened to our country? We are, after all, a free-market, capitalist system. Why is that “achievement” is denigrated and “need” is held in some sort of esteem?
I guess the Dems only love the rich if they toe the party line. What a bunch of hypocrites.
