They also did this game where they demanded President Bush give up top military secrets to defend the war. if he did? then he would be guilty of an impeachable offense. The joke about enlightened progressives like Colmes et. al. is that they still need to pay the bills just like the next media whore (politicians especially included). The risk as I see it is that post-racial is less central in this day and age - society has actually moved towards something like post-political. Obama & Co can harp all they want about this being the moment but everyone knows it’s just a show. There is no moment and there is no inevitable leader who shall emerge from behind the off-white columns. We’ll just TiVo the democrat party - no nothing, blow hard wannabe populist who just want to skirt all responsibility and hoard a larger Federal Budget to their friends and cronies; all in the name of bettering society. Companies are cutting insurance benefits for their employees and insurance companies have higher deductibles with less coverage.
It’s pretty sad when a country will spend trillions on a useless war destructive war, but won’t help it’s own citizens.
