McCain In 2000 Would Have Chosen Cheney For VP

And Cheney would have accepted.  He would have chosen Donald Rumsfeld as part of his national security team as well.  McCain said in 2001, “I think this is the strongest team…in terms of national security…that we’ve ever had.
