I didn’t say Texas is a weak state. What I said was that it is weak in terms of the power of the governor. The separation of powers works differently in every state, and I was referring to the relationship between the various branches of government. It’s interesting to note that your way of dealing with a perceived slight is not to try to understand the person on the other side, but rather to threaten to beat him up and then call him names. That is a very good lesson to teach our children, isn’t it?

Hollywood profited from the partisan divide on both sides of the isle. Sen. Trent Lott was not removed and he wrote a book. Sen. McCain is running for President. Sen. Lieberman switched “Teams” and is in charge of Homeland Security? Al Gore won a Nobel Peace Prize. Elian Gonzales could be the next King of Cuba. Why has everyone profited from pleasing God, but me? Obama is the nominee now and Oprah’s career is still going. How about someone returning the favor?

There was a Chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in lab the Prof noticed one young man (exchange student) who kept rubbing his back, and stretching as if his back hurt. The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country’s government and install a new communist government.

In the midst of his story he looked at the professor asked a strange question. He asked, ” Do you know how to catch wild pigs?” The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said this was no joke. “You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on th e ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down on side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side.

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening to America. The government keeps pushing us toward socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc. while we continually lose our freedoms-just a little at a time. One should always remember: There is no such thing as a free Lunch! A politician will never provide a service for you cheaper than you can do yourself. If you see all of this wonderful government ‘help’ is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America, you might want to send this on to your friends. If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life then you will probably delete this email, but God help you when the gate slams shut!

I have been watching you on H & C for many years on FOXX. I’ve been listening to your radio show on FOXX radio almost every single day. You are quite the spin master for Obama. Last night, You stated that that Obama got a huge six or seven point bounce out of his convention. There is only one poll that reflects a significant bounce after Obama’s convention and historic speech to millions. Most post polls show little if any bounce. This absolutely amazes me! How could thirty-eight million people watch Obama via television and eighty-four thousand plus pack an arena and Obama net such little results? How is this possible? After Obama visited Europe and the war zones, almost every key demographic group showed negative results for Obama. You really think Obama is going to win? I voted democrate for the first time and cast my vote for Hillary Clinton in the recent Indiana primary. I will never forgive the many news anchors on NBC and CNBC for crucifying Hillary! Tim Russert paid the ultimate price. Now, If Keith Oberman would just drop dead… I could finally be happy :) Obama is going to lose this election! It will be the biggest politic upset in U.S. history. Bill & Hillary Cinton will have the last laugh. You too will look like such a fool! I’d love to call your show. But, why bother? You overtalk and never allow your talk-show callers to finish their sentences if their opinion differs from your point of view! Try to be fair and allow callers to speak their mind!

Frankly I like seeing the Republican having to dumb down there rhetoric to defend the Palin choice. They seem to have a much more concise platform like, “this is outrageous”, and “why I never” and “this is so disrespectful” plus an endless array of other catchy lines that really capture the imagination of the voters.
But I have to give credit where it is due. They showed us you can learn enough domestic and foreign policy 60 days to (potentially) become the president of the United States of America AND the (potential) leader of the free world. (I though experience counted? oh that was last month).
