By suntan 30/08/2008 at 9:11 pmJake/Jerk, just the thought that I can enter your pysche and reinforce the thought espoused by the Whining leadership of the Democratic Party that the last two presidential elections were stolen from The Fip Flopper and VP Al Bore makes my day. You have no idea how many voters who after receiving their voting authority slips and have been directed to the appropiate polling booth, wander away to complain, socialize and generally delay other voters. They meet neighbors, friends, and family members, at this point so occupied with their own agenda they leave forgetting to vote. Some time later mostly after the polls have closed just minutes before, they appear with voting authority slip in hand wanting to vote, they are then turned away despite pleas and protests. I revel in the fact that in every instance I can recall that those who’ve missed the oppurtunity to vote are Democrats. As for securing the cartriges, I give no “challenger” any chance to access the most important of the days work. I don’t want some Democratic operative passing a magnet over the cartridge thereby causing the deletion of valid votes in a heavily Republican district, they may play those same games in the ghettos and nigger districts in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Ohio, and Illinois but will NEVER perpetrate that cat in MY district.

I watched an interesting program on the History channel yesterday evening, about the presidents and their terms in office.
I didn’t know Ronald Reagan personally admired Roosevelt, but that the reason Bush Sr. had to go back on his word and raise taxes, is because of Reagan’s voodoo economics. Interesting.

Man, can’t these Republicans come up with anything better to say about a liberal than “he’s gonna raise your taxes”. That’s BS, plain and simple. Obama is going to cut taxes for 95% of the population. The only people who are going to see their taxes go up are people making over $250,000 per year, and they are only going to be raised back to the levels they were at before George Bush’s tax cuts. McCain isn’t saying that though, and it’s clear that he’s aiming this ad at the masses and thus being deceptive. He’s already going to have the wealthy conservative vote. Here he’s trying to make middle class Americans think that Barack Obama is going to raise their taxes even though that’s not true.

Budgetary reality will keep Obama from lowering taxes on the middle class. If you recall Bill Clinton promised the same thing and then reneged on the grounds that Bush had ruined the economy so much that it would not allow for a decrease in the deficit. And this proved to be true as it took him seven years to balance the budget. If Senator Obama wins the election he will also renege on these proposed tax cuts. This was the tactic Clinton mastered in fighting the tax and spend liberal charge that Reagan used to destroy Mondale and Bush used on Dukakis. And when you say the economy is too disastrous to carry through after campaigning on the basis of your predecessor wrecking the economy, who is going to argue with you?

What you fail to realize is that I’m a registered Democrat and a pollworker on election day. I work three elections in my distict each year and have the control of the electronic voting machines (I bet you want to cry). I’m the “mainstream” of my party. My brain hasn’t been damaged by all the illicit drugs used by the “radical left” that along with Howard “DOUCHE” Dean hijacked a weakened party (thanks to Slick Willy, Flip Flop Kerry and Gore the Bore) and have now brought it to near ruin. Any attempts to cover her true identity will fail as all can see that despite the best efforts of some “Hollyweird” make-up artist she stil has the ape=like clenched jaw along with the look of contempt when asked about her love of this nation. I find this posting ludicrous. Again, I make the comparison to the bookshelf/cross “controversy,” which by the way utterly destroyed the initiative of most of the GOP frontrunners as it made them look petty and allowed the Huckster tyrant to grab a victory in Iowa and ultimately provide McCain the nomination. The Repubics know they will never gain a sizable plurality, much less a voting bloc, among the black constituency or most minority communities, so they pretty much have abandoned any effort to pretend to care since it detracts from their time and limited funds to win other voters. Pretty much the only group they play to is trying to win over a sizable enough plurality of Hispanics to weather Democratic swing states, you can win by losing the numbers game as Bush proved in two election by simply swelling his jeebus freak base to offset the time spent chipping away at the Democratic base where applicable. I smell Rove all over the current strategy and I don’t see the Democrats really doing anything other than screaming the same campaign platform that has failed them in 30 years except for the tenacity of a truly gifted campaigning genius (though a medocre leader), Governor William Jefferson Clinton of Arkansas. He overcame Paul Tsongas, Jerry Brown, Ross Perot, and a president who had a 91% approval rating when he announced his own bid for the office. Obama’s early appeal was an illfated partisan appeal that generated several victories in primaries of Democrats sick of losing but then tapered off with more traditional conservative democrat voters preferring Hillary Clinton injecting Bill’s strategy into her campaign rather than his reputation. He has since wavered on deciding to run as a moderate, which was failing him (as it failed Gore and Kerry, he should have known better) or an old style Democrat. The later style was helping with the superficial support of the Clintons, but I see a reinvigorated conservative base restoring this election to the frontline battles where the charges of McCain = Bush become irrelevant as it returns to the 2000 tepid campaign of liberal v. conservative. He certainly can win, which could be a short term gain for progressivism but from what I ascertain a much more disastrous long term legacy in the same mold as George Bush’s incompetence nearly defeated the Reagan Republican model, but it will still be a close race.

I’ve seen the residual as well, but having been a resident of the south most of my life I’ve noticed that though people tend to self segregate and enjoy their own perception of “racial” culture, if you know what I mean, they still have some measure of respect when necessary. If they play football together, for instance, a dumb redneck and a blackkid can have some measure of respect for their athletic ability that would have been unheard of thirty years ago. I’m not saying a Michael Jackson rainbow world of no judgment, there will always be suspicion. But that is a fine line from overt racism, at the very least I think people of most races will get used to the idea of time sharing the same country.
