Somebody help me. Why is Obama considered a great orator or speech maker? All he does (quite well, I guess, compared to McCain) is read teleprompters. Just watch his head turn left, then right, then stay at center–on and on it goes. This is talent????

You can quickly draw your own conclusions as to why the AP has suddenly moved right.
El Rushbo this morning presented the AP criticisms of Obama as “proof” of just how bad things were since the criticism was now coming from the leftist drive-by-media. He forgot to mention the Fournier AP is now Limbaugh’s rightist wing of the drive-by-media.

The new chief of the AP’s Washington bureau is Ron Fournier. Fournier recently authored, “Analysis: Biden pick shows lack of confidence” nearly as fast as the pick was announced. The article was an editorial mislabeled as “analysis”. The article showed up on our local paper’s website (the political section) briefly but it was quickly pulled and disappeared.
Wikipedia (yes, I know – but it’s a good place to start) has a nice writeup on Fournier.
So, yes. The AP has taken a sudden turn to the right.

Bill Clinton “balanced the budget” by cutting and gutting the military, CIA, and NSA. That balance and surplus was directly responsible for our losses on 9/11/01.

Please put up a strand to discuss the latest McCain ad in which the unbelievably nasty McCain camp have manipulated an image (accidentally of course) to show Obama standing under the middle four letters of ‘change’ held by a crowd. It reads HANG OBAMA.
