The McCain camp is in no hurry to have Sarah Palin talk to the press. Rick Davis, the McCain campaign manager who said, “This election is not about issues,” made a contentious appearance on “Morning Joe” where he defiantly defended the manner in which they will keep Sarah Palin away from inquiring minds:

SCARBOROUGH: Yesterday Nicolle Wallace suggested that she was sitting right there and told Jay Carney of Time magazine ‘Sarah Palin doesn’t have to talk to you, she doesn’t’ have to talk to the press.’ … Can we expect Sarah Palin on Meet the Press and other one on one interviews throughout the course of this campaign?
DAVIS: We’re going to do whatever we think is the best to win. We have 60 days left and if we think it’s a good idea to go out there and do those shows, we’ll do them.
SCARBOROUGH: Can you avoid it? Meet the Press?
DAVIS: We can afford anything we want to do. … We’re going to do what we think is in our best interest. If that means access to the press, we’ll give it to you.
There is no way in hell the GOP will allow that woman to go on Meet the Press; she’ll make a complete ass out of herself.

Sarah Palin is nothing more than a stalking horse for the R party. Nothing will change if the McCain ticket is elected. Shut-up, look pretty and talk about social issues will be her job. Remember McCain’s words the VP looks after the president’s health and attends funerals.
I don’t believe Palin was McCain’s choice. Sarah Palin is on the ticket to persuade people, more concerned with social issues over economic and war issues, over to the R party.

The deceit,deception, and corruption surrounding these New Age Republicans contributed, I think, to their 2006 saddle seat loss. Now these these Republican New Agers have nominated the “soul mates” to “take on” themselves. To some this may appear noble but its really quite weird. It’s alot like investigating yourself. The sitting elected Republicans could save themselves grief and expense and resign now so McCain and Palin can choose who should run. Of course if elected, McCain/Palin may not have time for that job. Queen Sarah may be to busy “taking on” the press. I heard that tone. I suppose what we can expect next from these New Age Republicans is an attack on Freedom of the Press, Freedom of Speech and Book Banning. From a fellow American, with Scottish Roots, John McCain should be ashamed. I have one word for him and thats “FREEDOM!!!!!”

Why I’m voting Democrat
I’m voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending my money I earn then I would.
I’m voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.
I’m voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq, I trust that the bad guys will stop what they are doing because they now think we are good people.
I’m voting Democrat because I believe that people who can’t tell us it will rain on Friday, CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in 10 years if I don’t start driving a Prius.
I’m voting Democrat because I believe business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.
I’m voting Democrat because i believe oil companies profits of 4% on a gal of gas is obscene but the goverment taxing the same gal of gas at 15% isn’t.
I’m voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want and I’ve decided to marry my horse.

Yes, that’s how it works. If a republican says something strange, it is either “taken out of context” or “surely he/she was joking, anyone can see that”. But if a democrat says something strange, they “hate the troops” and “they hate America” or “they are communist”.

I am not libaral. I used to be libaral untill my age of 50. Now I consider myself as Neo-Conservative. I realized I can not change the world. I was a stonch Hillary supporter, now I am Sarah supporter. Why? May be Gloria Stinum and my daughter are correct “We have same crmosom.” I carefully read your posting. I honestly believe that FP is different from contry to country. It is like their culture and language. For example Russian politics are way different than Chaina or middle east.

I watch Hannity and Colmes each night. I must say that the show would be much more informative if you would let your guests talk. I know your point of view but, would like to hear more from them.
