Is John McCain Morally Unfit To Be President of the United States?

That’s what Andrew Sullivan says. And he makes quite a case.

  3. Yea Alan,

we are supposed to be talking about Pigs and Lipstick and baseless allegations against Obama!

Not bringing up McCain’s flipflop on torture! Not discussing McCain’s unwillingness to discuss the issues, because he is too busy making fun of Obama! Not the fact that he did not pick a VP who knows very much about national defense, when it is one of McCain’s stated priorities!

Come on, Alan. Obama made a speech where he said the word LIPSTICK… and you bring THIS up for discussion instead!

Why don’t you love your country, Alan?!?

  4. Alan,
You must really hate this country. I sure don’t know why Fox keeps you…do you know someone in a high place?

  5. @Working Mom

What’s the matter? You don’t want to hear what ONE liberal has to say mixed in with your plethora of conservative commentators that appear on Fox on a daily basis?

  6. This man’s definition of morals is questionable.

  7. Andrew Sullivan’s morals.

  8. Andrew Sullivan deserves to be ignored.

  9. Errr guys….Andrew Sullivan is a conservative.

  10. Seriously? Andrew Sullivan is a conservative?

  11. http://www.americablog.com/2008/08/conservative-andrew-sullivan-asks-was.html

  12. Mike:

You’re bent out of shape because Fox has ONE liberal commentator? And how many conservatives do the following media have? ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, etc. I love that Alan is on Fox and he does his best…but with so little ammunition to work with fact-wise he’s always out gunned.

  13. Working Mom: Lmao @ “you must hate this country.” As Giuliani says: “What?”

  14. Libby,

Yea, Andrew Sullivan is a conservative, but the nice thing is that he doesn’t exactly fit the usual mold. It’s nice to see people who don’t fit 100% in what the Republicans have defined as conservative (or Democrats define as liberal)

He is married, to another guy, so I’d say that’s stepping out of the ring a bit. He used to support McCain (when conservatives did not) but no longer does (even though conservatives have suddenly fallen in love with him).

  15. How does McCain keep such a tight leash on the media? The revelation of his affair with lobbyist Vicki Iseman was so quickly hushed up it barely made the news. Geez the Republicans cannot lose this election – they run the press and t.v.

  16. Right on.

You shouldn’t pick a VP to help you win the election, you should pick a VP to help you run the country.

  17. “Is John McCain Morally Unfit To Be President of the United States?”

Haven’t seen any evidence that McCain has any morals.

  18. This guy hits the nail right on the head!

  19. no, Palin wasnt vetted, she was only picked because she had a down syndrome baby.

Palin opposed the troop surge, but doesnt know anything at all, nothing whatsoever about the Irak war.

All of that silly blather (as opposed to a serious article) from Sullivan sounds like more code pink propaganda

Alan you applaud this like Sullivan was on your family feud team, giving a stupid answer youre cheering “good answer!”

  20. Yes, Andrew Sullivan is absolutely a conservative. Although I disagree with 99% of what he stands for, I admire the fact that he is one of the few conservatives with the balls to appear on Bill Maher’s program with any regularity.
