I think Morris did get the better of you. It seems from this clip that the discussion was about the VP debate which Morris was talking about (although I think he and Hannity might have overstated the brilliance of Palen a little bit). You, however, were talking about McCain’s voting record. Morris was uneccessarily rude to you but instead of brushing that off you tried to make little counter jabs while still trying to make an irrelavant point about McCain’s voting record. Because you didn’t stick to the dicussion point (who won the debate) and allowed yourself to get distracted by Morris’ rudeness, you came off looking worse than he did. But that’s just my opinion.

Dick Morris came across as very angry, which was strange, considering you brought up logical counter-arguments to Palin’s dubious claims in the debate. I think he is angry because you have logically, calmly and fairly called him on the BS he so often spouts.
Morris is basically a discredited source now and KNOWS that, should Obama win, he’ll be rendered even more irrelevant. In fact, most of these dinosaurs will be rendered obsolete, should Obama get the win. Obama winning has the potential to make these needless attacks and the gutter politics of the GOP a thing of the past. Make sure it doesn’t work anymore.
Alan, I enjoy the show, but it is SO tilted to the GOP viewpoint. Why on earth do guys like Morris, Giuliani and Rove get so much air-time? They’re attack dogs and nothing more.
I think we know the ideology that H+C tilts towards – through no fault of your own. I’d like to see more balance on your show. When I see someone like Howard Wolfson or Bob Beckel on the show, it’s like a ray of sunhine: logic, reason and clear argument gets some airplay then. Wolfson is a very bright guy and makes his points in such a way that he silences even the most hostile attack dog.
I hope we see more BALANCE on H+C in the next few weeks.

Dick Morris is a brilliant man. It requires one to be able to risk learning something new to be able to grasp the depth of his knowledge. Sadly, some think they “know it all” and rely on only this self-perception of themselves to discuss issues–to discuss anything, actually. The greatest flaw of the liberal mind is the inability to say “I was wrong”–and if a liberal is able to even utter those words, they must attach a twist to pivot themselves in actually being right about their being wrong.
