The Anti-Plumber Joe S.: “Where is your compassion and heart, Sarah? Have you no feelings for those less fortunate than yourself? It is this type of selfish attitude that has led America to its current levels of corruption and greed.”
Boy. Compassion and feelings for those less fortunate? Wow, you really ARE the anti-plumber!
obama is HALF WHITE?? OMG!! I GOT TO TELL FOX NEWS…
PS. I WONDER OF SEAN HANNITY WILL BRING UP THIS..

Additionally, in 1998, Liddy reportedly held a fundraiser at his home for McCain. Liddy was reportedly scheduled to speak at another fundraiser for McCain in 2000…

Whether we want to admit it or not, they both did great last night.
McCain looked physically healthy, too. He didn’t look so much like a tired old man.
I’m very glad they adressed Ayers and ACORN. At one point I felt like they were both whining about whose ads were meaner… like little boys… but the moderator brought them back to adulthood.

What grade is this guy in?
Is this any way for a presidential candidate to act – what if he were President?
I am not impressed with”I am notPresident Bush” …must be the only part the talking heads could pick out of what McCain said said in the 3rd debate.

Alan, Alan,
I know that things like this have happened to you….. Are you not human?

Once again Fox News smears Obama…
It turns out that the sound bite from the Joe the plumber conversation (The spread the wealth around part) comes later in the conversation when the plumber said that it seemed like Obama would support a flat tax.
Obama discussed a technical point about the flat tax. He simply restated support for a progressive income tax, not making a larger statement about the economy.
Here’s what Obama said:
“And I do believe for folks like me who have worked hard, but frankly also been lucky, I don’t mind paying just a little bit more than the waitress that I just met over there who’s things are slow and she can barely make the rent. Because my attitude is that if the economy’’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody.”
“If you’ve got a plumbing business, you’re going to be better off if you’ve got a whole bunch of customers who can afford to hire you, and right now I think everybody’s so pinched that business is bad for everybody and I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody. ” End quote…
October 16th, 2008 at 1:08 pm
It reminds me of the Will Farrell part of the “Starsky and Hutch” remake, where he’s a prison informant getting them to do stuff for his entertainment in exchange for information.
“OK, now be an angry dragon.”

Funny how the secret service investigated the “kill him” incident and the only person that heard it was the obama supporting reporter.
But the damage has already been done.
Repeat a lie often enough and people will believe it.
Kudos to the liberal media for promoting a lie to get their guy elected.

Yep, that’s today’s conservative. Mess something up and expect someone else to fix it. Next, you’ll be asking for a $720 billion bail-out.

Mccain has changed from Paling to Shamannity. He is spouting right-wing smears and fear mongering-tactics.Joe, the plumber, will not cost Mccain the election; but Hannity(the Hall Tuner) will sink the GOP for a long time.

John McCain made two assertions on corporate taxes, one that small businesses pay 50 percent of the taxes and the other that U.S. corporations are among the highest taxed in the world. Both are wrong.
All corporate income taxes–including giant corporations and the smallest of businesses–account for only about 14 percent of federal revenues raised in the year, according to the Congressional Budget Office. Most federal taxes are paid by individuals, while fees and other taxes make up the rest.
While the official corporate tax is high, compared to other countries, there are so many loopholes in the code that many companies pay little or no taxes. The General Accounting Office reported recently that more than half of U.S. corporations paid no federal income taxes during the boom years of the late 1990s, and those that did were able to shelter much of their income, generally by claiming deductions and credits.
The GAO report showed that 61 percent of U.S. corporations paid no federal income taxes from 1996 through 2000, a period of rapid economic growth and rising corporate profits.
An estimated 94 percent of U.S. corporations reported tax liabilities amounting to less than 5 percent of their total income in 2000. Indeed, small corporations were more likely to avoid taxation than large ones, the GAO said.

You forget to mention SEan Hannity the hate monger specificaly.
October 16th, 2008 at 2:54 pm
Yeah Pierre, that’s what they say on dailykos.
Do you have any specific quotes with verifiable links?
Of course you are free to ignore me if you can’t answer the question.
October 16th, 2008 at 3:01 pm
Again Pierre,
Any specific quotes and links you care to share to back up your allegation?
October 16th, 2008 at 3:03 pm
Coming from some that supports a candidate that wants to “spread the wealth” that is almost funny.
But isn’t it liberals that believe in taking from someone to give to someone else? Isn’t that why democrats ALWAYS play the class card, complaining about people (other than themselves and their friends) being rich and things not fair for people.

Sarah,
Say, you aren’t supporting obama are you? You were pretty offended when you mistakenly believed I supported mcveigh. Aren’t you offended by obama and his real ties to anti-government terrorists?
Hypocrite? Double standard?
October 16th, 2008 at 3:04 pm
HEy power-too! Listen to sean’s monologue .He simply repeats, promotes and amplifies the right-wing talking points.
October 16th, 2008 at 3:35 pm
Truth2power,
When the same old talking point is repeated so many times…on Rush…on Hannity…on Fox news…and in McCain’s ads…oh, and let’s not forget Palin’s ‘palling around with terrorists’…idiots, like you are going to believe he IS a terrorist and/or he has close ties to terrorists.
Have you ever played the game where you whisper something in someone’s ears…and they whisper to someone else…and so on?? The last person to repeat that message is completely different. That’s the ultimate goal of the Republican party. They appeal to the ignorant people who don’t care to look up the facts.
Bottom line Truth, McCain lost those debates big time. He came off as an angry old man who attacks instead of talking about the issues. And you can take it to the bank that behind closed doors, the GOP knows he blew it.
October 16th, 2008 at 3:55 pm
Pierre: “You forget to mention SEan Hannity the hate monger specificaly.”
Nah, you did that already. I didn’t want to be redundant. I just rounded him up in the “Fox” sphere in general.
Your point is cogent, though. Hannity’s “exclusive” interview after the second debate, with Palin and McCain, was another death knell (where Hannity operated as usual– does most of the talking for his subjects and then waits for them to briefly agree in full, or they are allowed to elaborate slightly further).
October 16th, 2008 at 3:57 pm
Mccain will throw SEAN Hanuman under the bus 2 days just before Nov.4.
October 16th, 2008 at 4:01 pm
You’re really crabby, T2P. I was just tryin’ to fun with ya.
Or are you so (adopting T2P’s angry sanctimonious tone here) angry!? and bitter!? and *gasp* full OF HATE that you’ve lost your sense of humor, aka your funny bone, aka your silly sense?
October 16th, 2008 at 4:10 pm
McCain does some weird things when he comes on stage..I just think that’s his way of fighting off the nerves. He’s soooo not smooth.
October 16th, 2008 at 4:39 pm
Great Communicator Colmes – Our party leaders commend you on finding this most apt and persuasive picture of the evil, lying capitalist pig, McCain as yet more evidence of why he is unfit to be president. He clearly continues to closely resemble the evil Bush, who continues to resist our efforts to obtain conclusive DNA proof that they are actually the same person. Soon, however, I fear that our approach of constant criticism of the despicable neocons will not be needed after the election and we should start developing post-election talking points. We need to avoid having to answer silly questions or to find positive things to say about our soon-to-be president elect Obama and his faithful servant dog Biden. Since we have no credible evidence on any important accomplishments of our leader, besides successfully registering the capitalistic idealogue Mickey Mouse to vote, we need to find ways to blame the right wing. We must avoid at all costs any requests for insight on how Obama will actually implement his plans to move our formerly great country ever closer to the ultimate communist state where everything is “fair” for everyone. For example, we should not ask how Obama will actually lower the cost of health care for all Americans. Are we going to stop paying doctors and hospitals? If so, how is this fair to doctors and medical supply companies, when lawyers will continue to be paid for suing the doctors and suppliers for malpractice? Perhaps we will have to simply stop paying everyone. But, I digress.
To avoid this untenable circumstance, we should start preparing our criticisms of the right-wing for their mere existence, as they will continue to be responsible for any falterings in the economy after the great and fair plans of our leader are implemented. We will still refuse to be accountable for our actions and it will be so, because Katie Couric will say so and the gullible American people will believe it.
Fellow Americans, do not be afraid, for soon we will no longer have to make any choices in our lives. Obama and the great government are prepared to mandate how you will live your lives so that it will be fair for you and the party elite can benefit the most. We will tell you what offspring you may have, what health insurance you need, what schools your children will go to, what house you will live in, and what your occupation will be. Our hope for this change in the American dream will finally be realized. For once in my life, I am proud of my country.

OMG, the prophecy has come true! The Anti-Plumber has arrived to Alan’s blog! The end (of the election) is nigh!
Give my regards to Omar the Tentmaker, Anti-Joe. Tell him I’d like to order mine, big enough for 2 adults and 3 dogs, plenty of screening.
But heavy-duty enough to block out the smoke from the jungle fires next to the railroad tracks. And a few bindle-holders would be great.
But easily and quickly taken down, so we can dodge the railyard bulls when we hop our trains to the next Hooverville. I mean, Bushtown.

Jen, thanks but you didn’t answer the question, all you did is repeat the dailykos talking points.
Cite specific things that have been said and links to back it up?
If it’s repeated so many times like you allege, it should be easy for you to provide the proof.
Of course, if you can’t find the proof feel free to ignore my post.

Jen,
How do you feel about the liberal media using obama’s talking points in their after debate discussions?
You are aware that obama put out talking points before the debate aren’t you?
Reminder: These are for staff only and not for distribution,” warns the e-mail.
And then, the spin, accidentally sent to reporters this morning.

Obama gave McCain an opening to respond to the death treats coming from Palin rallies in a mature, wise, inclusive, and possibly profound manner that would show strong leadership for all Americans. Instead he choose to respond in a snarly, snotty, adolescent way. He has also chosen the continued path of fear for Americans. I also do not think the c**t t-shirts are appropriate and I do not think calling your wife that word is any better. Thank God Obama had enough class to not respond. The “how do we beat the B*tch” that came from McCain’s campaign, also showed a poor example of role models for our youth. When Palin spoke at the Republican convention she did not speak from the heart about the press vetting process. She responded in a snotty, nasty tone, “Have I got a News Flash for you….” Neither McCain or Palin shows good leadership skills.
