Chant At Palin Rally: “Vote McCain, Not Hussein”
From a Sarah Palin rally in Henderson, NV:
FEMALE: Barack Hussein Obama. Barack Hussein, he associates with terrorists [...]he is anti-American, he is anti-military, he has done nothing for Chicago, his middle name is a terrorist name, he takes money from terrorists, he associates with terrorists.
MALE MCCAIN SUPPORTER: How ’bout Dope and Lose Change? (repeats)
MOTHER (to children): I don’t want you around this.
DEMONSTRATORS: Hope not hate, hope not hate.
MALE: Dope and Lose Change, Dope and Lose Change.
DEMONSTRATORS: War breeds hate, war breeds hate.
CROWD: Vote McCain not Barack Hussein, Vote McCain not Barack Hussein
[...]
CROWD: Vote McCain, not Hussein, vote McCain, not Hussein

Morons.
The Cons sure are a tense group.
Why don’t you freaks put your tin foil hats on and go out to the bunker in your yard. The bunker you built in ‘99 when you thought little itty bitty baby jesus was coming back, and scribble your inane (and not working by the way) conspiracy theories that have no basis in reality.
The country isn’t getting fooled by this anymore.
Desperation is a stinky cologne…

It’s probably because the two names rhyme that they’re ‘chanting’ that. Never underestimate how people will use rhythm, rhyme, and alliteration to make their points.
I’ll have to say one of the funniest things I heard was Obama at the Al Smith dinner when he said his middle name was actually “Steve”. That was truly humorous. It still makes me laugh.
I’ll have to see if there’s a video of Obama’s portion of the Al Smith dinner. I’ll bet it’s a hoot! :-)
October 22nd, 2008 at 5:15 pm
But people laugh and smirk and sneer when they turn on their TVs and see a crowd in the middle east running wild through the street and smacking people with their sandals.
So what’s the difference?
October 22nd, 2008 at 5:30 pm
What idiot wrote this? It’s not lose(as in lose of job) but loose, as in change

BO is a dope and if he is elected you WILL lose all your change…
Now THAT is an intelligent sentence…
October 22nd, 2008 at 6:16 pm
Losers. I hate people who get loud about this stuff. Just vote for who you want.
October 22nd, 2008 at 6:34 pm
Boy, look at all the white diversity at the McCain rally!
There’s the white lesbian-looking soccer mom who picked the fight with the comparatively peaceful Obama demonstrators.
Then there’s the older, angry white man in the baseball cap who brought up dope.
Then there’s the large white woman in the odd-looking red hate. Oops, I mean “hat.”
White guy wearing camouflage.
It’s just hilarious.
October 22nd, 2008 at 6:34 pm
Actually, I agree with LLL.
I also hate when people have photos.
It’s too much like hero worship, instead of electing a public servant.
October 22nd, 2008 at 6:47 pm
Well, today is another Andy Martin press conference.
Between Martin, Berg, and Marquis, I think the truth about Obama’s secret birth records on file with the Dept. of Health in Hawaii will reveal secrets about him, he does not want known.
I find this trip to visit granny, odd. Less than two weeks before election, and Obama has to go to Hawaii?
The campaign has not said what is wrong with granny, and a relative said it’s her hip, but won’t say which side. Just odd stuff.
October 22nd, 2008 at 6:47 pm
LLL, McCain was born in Panama. Is he REALLY an American? Where is HIS birth certificate?
October 22nd, 2008 at 6:54 pm
Ew. Now I feel guilty for not knowing which hip my grandmother had HER surgery on. Are we really supposed to know these things or else we’re bad grandchildren?
Does it help that I send her money?
Oops. Well, I guess that makes me a bad American, too, sending her a handout. She needs to get off her arthritic hip, whichever one it is, and go find a job. Quit sponging off social security.
October 22nd, 2008 at 6:55 pm
both of Mccain’s parents are American. Obama’s are not. Only one is.
October 22nd, 2008 at 6:57 pm
I am 78 years old and i am for Obama. I think this country needs a change from the past 8 years and I don’t believe John McCain is the answer. His judgement is to be questioned when he selected Sarah Appaling to be his running mate.
October 22nd, 2008 at 6:58 pm
He was born here, mouth breather…
October 22nd, 2008 at 6:58 pm
Maggie, you sound like my mom. She’s really having a hard time breaking from the Republican Party, but she’s got too much sense to put up with the GOP’s nonsense this time around, with Palin as 2nd in command.
October 22nd, 2008 at 7:00 pm
Sarah, how do you argue with people that ignore reality? If the proof is sitting on their face, they ignore it. Like arguing with a toddler…

………………………….
Yeah, but THESE guys all ALL wackos:
And just because a few nutjobs file a suit, doesn’t mean there is a story there either.
Anthony R. Martin-Trigona, his campaign committee filed papers saying its purpose was to “exterminate Jew power in America and impeach U.S. District Court of Appeals judges in New York City.”
In a New York bankruptcy case, he referred to a judge as a “crooked, slimy Jew.” During the bankruptcy dispute, he filed a civil-rights lawsuit claiming Jewish bankruptcy judges and lawyers were conspiring to steal his property. He asked a court to bar “any Jew from having anything to do with plaintiff’s property.”
In 2005 he was fined and sanctioned $10,000 for having committed a “laundry list of unethical actions.”
As for Berg, he’s just another crackpot.
In 2005 he was fined and sanctioned $10,000 for having committed a “laundry list of unethical actions.”:
“Other attorneys should look to Mr. Berg’s actions as a blueprint for what not to do when attempting to effectively and honorably perform the duties of the legal profession,” Joyner wrote.
“This court has grown weary of Mr. Berg’s continuous and brazen disrespect toward this court and his own clients. Mr. Berg’s actions … are an enormous waste of judicial time and resources that this court cannot, in good conscience, allow to go unpunished,” Joyner wrote.”
He’s also a 9/11 “truther” and Clinton “supporter” who has been making weird claims and demands against Sen. Obama for a while.
October 22nd, 2008 at 7:07 pm
What kind of idiotic idea is this? Does poor LLL really think Obama faked his birth records and nobody verified it? Get the tin foil hat LLL…
October 22nd, 2008 at 7:14 pm
“What kind of idiotic idea is this? Does poor LLL really think Obama faked his birth records and nobody verified it? Get the tin foil hat LLL”
LLL didn’t say that at all. They simply said that only one of Obama’s parents is American. This person didn’t say anything about faked birth records. I doubt that anyone really believes that Obama is not a citizen.
I know an American citizen whose parents BOTH are not American. They are both Mexican citizens. In fact, this girl is the only one in her family who is an American born U.S. citizen. I believe that her older sister and perhaps her mother was Naturalized recently, but I could be wrong. None of this negates the girl’s American citizenship.

October 22nd, 2008 at 8:47 pm
No one except those who would never vote for a Democrat OR a black man cares if once, when Obama was little, he went school under whatever middle name.

McCain is unfit for the office of President. This country simply cannot have an openly racist Commander in Chief- need I remind our Republican friends that our armed forces are comprised of all colors, creeds and races – the old Republican racism is not for this century. Move over McCain – history has rendered you irrelevant.

Furyus: “Sarah, how do you argue with people that ignore reality? If the proof is sitting on their face, they ignore it. Like arguing with a toddler…”
Hope, not hate, Furyus! In the absence of the big white van and the nice gentlemen in white who are ready to deprogram the koolaid drinkers, it’s the best I got.
October 22nd, 2008 at 11:14 pm
Are you all insane? I was there walking to my car. 2 people yelling something on a sidewalk 1 hour AFTER the event was over does not make “Chant at Rally” or “THESE People are all so racist….” Grow up.
October 22nd, 2008 at 11:37 pm
The GOP supporters who are making a great deal of a name is showing ignorants because who gave us our names!!! YO MAMA. Do all of you haters agree with the name yo mama gave you? If there had been no war in Iraq his middle name wouldn’t be an issue. Face it a lot of ppls are not ready for a black president. But remember this man “laid in the belly of a white woman his mother for 9 months” the way God planned it. If McCain’s name was the same it wouldn’t be a problem for you repulicans so stop being sooooo stupid over a name and tell the true reason… he’s “BLACK” he’s not pure white to many so you think he’s not qualified. He is very capable of being president whether you GOP’s admit it or not. All of these idiot’s who throwing racial slurs concerning his name and color if/when he’s elected he “WILL” be your President unless you choose to leave this country like Hannity and give up your freedom of choice and speach. So if you do not choose to leave please return any benifits that he fighting to give you and live up to what your mouth is saying. America will be better off without ppls such as you. I don’t support McCain but I do respect him as a person.

That’s what liberals say about conservatives.

What I enjoy, OldLefty, are the conservative admonishments to “grow up,” when Obama is the only one who has behaved like a mature, responsible adult throughout the whole campaign.
He’s been given plenty of opportunities to answer Palin’s smears, but he takes the high road every time, like a true class-act.
October 23rd, 2008 at 10:58 am
I’m sure that your saying Palin needs to control her crowd. Right? She is responsible for everyone.
Then where is Obama when HIS supporters string themselves arm in arm across the road and try to block Palin’s Motorcade so then can beat on the car?
WHy isn’t he stopping that hate? Hmm
What about Sandra Bernhardt saying that Palin should be gang raped by the big, black brothers?
What about Jon Stewart saying F$%k You to Palin?
What about a Tennessee Dem Senator’s son hacking into her email?
Why isn’t Obama denouncing any of this nonsense?? HUH??
He isn’t. Because he condones it.
It’s just more Chicago cesspool tactics.
October 23rd, 2008 at 12:21 pm
Ah yes. He is a class act. He will effortlessly pick your pocket with a captivating smile and impeccable panache.
October 23rd, 2008 at 12:22 pm
What Sandra Bernhardt said is truly obscene, but she is a silly entertainer, like Rush and Michael Savage who had said some pretty ugly things….if McCain does not DENOUNCE AND REJECT them, does he condone what they say?
He did not DENOUNCE AND REJECT the supporter who asked “How will you beat the b*tch” Does he condone it?
As for Jon Stewart, when this woman sows such divisiveness, as a VP candidate, by suggesting that the Americans who support her are the “REAL” Americans…
I think his response was appropriate.
‘What about a Tennessee Dem Senator’s son hacking into her email?’
Mark Jacoby

Jones: “He will effortlessly pick your pocket with a captivating smile and impeccable panache.”
My pocket? No. But might he pick the pocket of people who have been PICKING OUR POCKETS FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS? Quite possibly.
Jones, you don’t understand, the Republican Party which has held most of the power for the last 12 years, HAS picked our pocket– AND the pockets of ensuing generations.
October 23rd, 2008 at 2:11 pm
Oh, and to add insult to injury, the GOP tells us to stop complaining about the way they steal from us, or we’re “anti-American,” or “liberal,” or “socialist.”
They’re spending the taxes they don’t even have the balls to collect.
October 23rd, 2008 at 2:14 pm
Check out the McCain-Palin Mob on youtube, it is very sad.
It has almost 2 million hits.
October 23rd, 2008 at 2:24 pm
First off, Sen. Obama was not in the immediate area in the situations that you describe. When the crowd at his rally booed he did tell them no, we don’t need that we just need to vote. While booing is not nearly as damaging as the shouts from the McCain/Palin rallies, Sen. Obama does not advocate that type of behavior.
Sandra Bernhardt is a joke herself, there is nothing funny at all about her. As far as Jon Stewart, ditto to the statement from Oldlefty above. I fail to see the significance of the e-mail incident.
Look, I don’t expect Sen. McCain, Gov. Palin, or Sen. Obama to be able to control everything that everyone says or does, what I do expect is for them to control the immediate area in which they are campaigning. They owe it to the people and they owe it to themselves. To allow that to continue is a blemish on their character.
The people in this video should be ashamed of themselves. I should think in this day and age you would educate yourself enough not to castigate someone with their own name, a name does not a terrorist make. Fear and hatred and the unknown fuels these fires and the prescription HAS to be education, knowledge, understanding and civility.
To Patty: I don’t believe my eyes deceive me, but I think there’s more than two people on the sidewalk yelling in this video. Yes, please, do grow up, stop thinking with someone elses brain, use your own, and start treating people the way you would like to be treated, stop using color, nationality, religion to guide your emotions. Honorability is what is called for here, the ability to disagree in a productive environment. This is the change that Sen. Obama is all about.
October 23rd, 2008 at 2:51 pm
Dave Frm Kentucky,
What is spewed on this blog is equally sad. To think that McCain or the antichrist BHO are somehow going to make a difference is laughable. They are also part of the problem. America was broke before the bailout, which by the way was not approved by the majority of American citizens. Did any elected officials listen to us? No, and added another trillion to the debt in a week! We are now borrowing money from our Communist (China) enemies just to stay afloat. We’re owned by our enemies, yet some believe the two CLOWNS running for office will somehow make a difference. BRILLIANT!
October 23rd, 2008 at 3:01 pm
LOL! Babe in the woods…
October 23rd, 2008 at 3:15 pm
What’s the point of obama supporters going to palin rallies if not to cause problems and instigate conflicts.
Sarah, I’m sure you know the democrats are in charge of congress. I’m sure you know congress controls the checkbook.
That said, who’s spending??
October 23rd, 2008 at 3:48 pm
Yeah.
If she had the foreign policy knowledge biden does she would be warning us of upcoming attacks. When someone in the government, an “expert” in foreign policy and sits on high ranking committees is warning of attacks we should listen.
Of course, some would ask if he knows, (he said mark my words, sounds pretty confident to me), why not just take action to avoid them?
Unless having america attacked works out better politically for the democrats.
October 23rd, 2008 at 3:57 pm
Last time I checked there are fat cats in the democratic party as well. Doesn’t seem to bother the far lefties here though. They constantly want to talk about all the Republicans, the only politicians, who have picked their pockets…EVER. What a load of crap.
As far as chanting Hussein, that is his middle name, correct? If he wins he will have his full name read at his coronation. I don’t like this half-baked notion that for whatever reason, noone is allowed to speak the man’s middle name.
October 23rd, 2008 at 4:04 pm
Equaity: “LOL! Babe in the woods…”
More trash talk, no substance. But hey, whatever makes you feel desperately superior and above-it-all. I know you don’t have a lot of GOP accomplishments to back you up for the last 14 years.
I love it when GOP’ers get personal, it proves they’re all hat and no cattle.
October 23rd, 2008 at 4:12 pm
TP: “Sarah, I’m sure you know the democrats are in charge of congress. I’m sure you know congress controls the checkbook. That said, who’s spending??”
You’re aware we’re in a war in the Middle East, your party’s shipped out a ton of our jobs, they’re cutting taxes while spending’s never been higher, and the democrats have NO control over congress since Republicans have broken all records for filibustering.
Oh, sorry– that sort of inconvenient truth isn’t allowed to penetrate your skull. I forgot.
October 23rd, 2008 at 4:15 pm
I love the chant. Libs…cut the disdain…you have called McCain and Palin everything you have in the play book. You took on their families with false accusations. And you’re upset that your man’s middle name was used? Touchy!
October 23rd, 2008 at 4:15 pm
Name just one factual, indisputable, significant, world-changing thing that Obama has done has a US Senator (or before) that leads you Libs to believe that he will in fact do anything that he has promised. No spin here for just once.
October 23rd, 2008 at 4:17 pm
If Democrats wanted to be equally infantile and pointless, they could start chanting something like “Sidney sucks! Sidney sucks! Sidney sucks!” since that’s McCain’s middle name.
John Sidney McCain the III.
Sounds like, “Thurston Howell the Third” from Gilligan’s Island. He could even use a Locust Valley lockjaw accent when he’s inaugurated.
“Oh, lovey, just had a SMASHING time on the campaign trail, but those interviews with Letterman were a GHASTLY BORE. Now let’s call the broker and arrange for another stock buy-up. I have a feeling the market’s going to come crashing down as soon as I announce 15 more years in Iraq, hoo hoo!”
October 23rd, 2008 at 4:23 pm
How juvenile. Democrats griping about this don’t want to be infantile and pointless, they already are.
The same people who have talked trash about Sarah Palin’s CHILDREN, making fun of their names, etc, are the one’s griping about people using the man’s name. How very adult and mature of you. Get over yourselves.
October 23rd, 2008 at 4:46 pm
And yet you haven’t outgrown the 6th grade mentality of the most annoying girl in the classroom — the kind that, if the teacher darts down to the principal’s office, she sternly yells at her classmates to shut up and be quiet and do their work, or she’s going to tell on ALL OF THEM when the teacher comes back.
I think you’re the one who needs to get over herself.
October 23rd, 2008 at 6:11 pm
Always personal, pointless and rather drab. As I stated earlier, his name is his name. He will be sworn in using his full name if elected. Don’t see where the problem is.
October 23rd, 2008 at 6:15 pm
These people are CRAZY! I have never seen an election like this, I blame Mc Cain and Palin for this. They are all filled with hate.My friend had an Obama bumper sticker on her car and was almost side swiped and harrased. Also Alan, could you not keep these crazies on the phone when they call in, you cant talk any sense into them because they are dense!
October 23rd, 2008 at 6:33 pm
Marie,
Are you going to get up the same dander for the folks who are wearing the nasty t-shirts about Governor Palin to obama rallies? How about getting upset over the remarks made by a famous liberal comedianne about how Governor palin would be gang raped if she showed her face in certain neighborhoods in New York?
You certainly can’t blame McCain/Palin for all the nastiness that is coming from the democratic side. It goes both ways.
October 23rd, 2008 at 6:52 pm
Nasty t-shirts vs. yelling “kill him”…. hmmm, which one gets the “scary people” prize?
October 23rd, 2008 at 8:15 pm
They should have stipped it from the beginning.I speak for both sides, but the gop ticket you must admit has been dirty! and by the way how low can they go making remarks about his grandmother! Yes I can blame Mc Cain!
October 23rd, 2008 at 8:17 pm
Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richards said the victim was withdrawing money at 9 p.m. Wednesday when a man approached her from behind, put the knife to her neck and demanded money. She says she gave him $60.
She told police the robber then noticed the bumper sticker, punched her in the back of the head, knocked her down and then carved a “B” on the right side of her face.
Ethan Eilon, executive director of the College Republicans National Committee, said Todd was volunteering through his organization and that she had taken a year off to work on the campaign.
He said that her attacker became enraged when he saw she had the McCain bumper sticker, and yelled, “You are one of those McCain people.”
tell which party is teaching hate again
