McCain Campaign: Palin Is Off Script

Further evidence that Sarah Palin isn’t playing ball with the McCain campaign. Ben Smith at Politico calls it “Going Rogue“.
…Sarah Palin on Sunday sounded off on the $150,000 wardrobe that was purchased for her in September, denouncing the report as “ridiculous” and declaring emphatically: “Those clothes, they are not my property.”
A senior adviser to John McCain told CNN’s Dana Bash that the comments about her wardrobe “were not the remarks we sent to her plane this morning.”
John at Americablog asks, “Palin now claims the clothes aren’t hers. Uh, so why is she wearing them?”
Just like Palin to take a handout and then not even have the decency to be grateful for it.

I am still afraid that McCain will win this election.
You don’t know how crafty Republicans are and how loyalists we conservatives are when it comes to voting in droves.
However, I pray that my fear is just a fear and the results will be otherwise.

Palin is goin off script because she is super mavericky. When a maverick is runnin for office, sometimes she just has to say
‘You know? I don’t care what those big shots up in those un American places like New York are thinkin, I’m gonna be mavericky, cause I’m a maverick. And those smarty pants in the press, with their filterin, and their newspapers with all those words and stuff, they just don’t get it that REAL Americans don’t go for all that readin. Just wait till November, cause they don’t understand how mavericky I can be, but they will! And my son is in Iraq fightin for your freedom, so you have to vote for me.’

Palin is off script because she knows the old dude is going to lose. She now has to begin distancing herself from him, he will be of no further use to her in furthering her political ambitions. She has to move on to plan B.
