Obama Gains Another Republican Endorsement

Former South Dakota Senator Larry Pressler, the first Vietnam vet to serve in the US Senate, says John McCain’s “handling of the financial crisis made me feel nervous.” Pressler also donated $500 to the Obama campaign.
He joins a growing list of Republicans who have thrown their support to Obama in recent days. Last Sunday former Secretary of State Colin Powell endorsed Obama on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” On Thursday Obama picked up the support of former Minnesota Gov. Arne Carlson, who was joined on Friday by former Massachusetts Gov. William Weld.
Pressler says he has no intention of leaving the GOP and considers himself “a moderate conservative.”
Alan, everywhere I go I’m overhearing conversation about Sarah Palin that are not good. Even Republicans are upset about her $150,000 clothing spree. I think it has sparked such an outrage in these last campaign days that will cause McCain to go deeply under the radar. Already voted for Obama/Biden Early!

Glad to hear the edorsment. ALAN COMBS, I wish you leave faux news. OBAMA is crossing party lines, to bad MR. COMBS alot of your fellow workers at faux seem to be robots. I hate liberals and democrats. I just watched faux news and watched that blonde hair for faux get into it with a OBAMA staffer. She was so wound up, I thaught her man had her in bed and that would have been a sight. I had to hear on how fair faux is only to hear this lady speak on how unfair and unbalance faux is. Just seems everyone on faux is for the McSane and that is solid proof that McSane is no mavrick, but a sidekick and faux news is the posse. Alan you are the only life form on that network. OBAMA wants to bring this country togather and some members of the GOP as well. That OBAMA staffer held his own with that lady having pms or getting off. I remember Senator Pressler from the famous Pressler amendment which prohibited Pakistan from getting misiles and fighter planes until it cleaned itself.
Pressler is a gem of a Senator.

Some Republicans are finally starting to “Get it.” It’s not about labels. It’s about right and wrong. What happened to America is wrong. We’ve been misled. To fix it, we must shed our labels and get it right. Both sides of the isle must share blame. We must change after we recognize the problem. We must invite our best and brightest to the table for America. It’s not about a label. It’s about “Equal Opportunity.” Affirmative Access failed.

You are right Steve..LIBERAL is a GREAT word…and it will be even better in a week…..the day will soon be here when we will all be EQUAL…no more will the people that achieved success through hard work and dedication be holding me down anymore….if you make alot of money…you should give more….now it is almost a reality….we should be taken care of from the cradle to the grave as americans…and i will have my fellow liberals to thank for making my life a lot easier…hey mom and dad…who is laughing now!!!….always telling me i need to go to school to get anywhere in life….not if pelosi,reid and Obama have anything to say about it….and to think…last year i was actually going to get a job that would give me health insurance to cover me and my 3 kids…don’t worry now guys…the “messiah” will take car of everything…CAPITALISM WILL DIE ON NOVEMBER 4TH…”From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.” …what a great country we live in!!
