Politico: “McCain Camp Trying To Scapegoat Palin”
They’re going to have to blame somebody, so why not Governor Palin?
In recent days, a McCain “adviser” told Dana Bash of CNN: “She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone.”
[...]
Also, a “top McCain adviser” told Mike Allen of Politico that Palin is “a whack job.”
But the real problem here is that John McCain doesn’t seem in control of his own campaign, and that he settled on a running mate whose choice says more about him than it does about her.
As proof that she is ["a whacko"] , McCain aides now say Palin is “going rogue” and straying from their script. Wow. What a condemnation. McCain sticks to the script. How well is he doing?
In truth, Palin’s real problem is not her personality or whether she takes orders well. Her real problem is that neither she nor McCain can make a credible case that Palin is ready to assume the presidency should she need to.
And that undercuts McCain’s entire campaign.

It’s obvious to anyone, this isn’t really news. I think McCain’s campaign staff has had a way to blame Palin for the eventual loss for a few weeks now, and Palin is (understandably) irate about it, and so she breaks script and pushes boundaries where she’s able. Credit to her for that – but McCain should have vetted her better before choosing her.
A publicity stunt gone wrong. McCain picks a VP candidate that’s designed to lock up the conservative core and snag a few irate Hilary supporters.

Obama’s real problem is that he is in no way qualified by neither experience nor intellect for the number one job, for which he is now an applicant.
For all the yakking about Palin’s lack of qualifications the facts are she is applying to be number two, against Dear Leader’s application for number one, she has far more executive experience than he has ever had.
Given the performance of the McCain campaign, I don’t blame her for going off the reservation. It shows the kind of sense of survival we need in the war against radical islamists and others who would kill us all.

I have a serious question for Ms. Palin: Are you aware, Governor, of the banal tone of your interviews and speeches? Forget the Obama-bashing..I get the Politics of Desperation. Do you know what “kitsch” means, and how it applies to the McCain campaign in general, and you in particular? Thank you.

Alan,
It must be cold where you live. Your points are so sad as you try to defend your FLAWED presidential candidate. I look at you while you talk over people and get your points in and you have a really tough job. You have to make some one who is really unqualified for the position he has applied for look like he is. I would not want your job this year. Barack Obama is very intelligent, book-wise. He obviously is dumb as a brick because he has no COMMON SENSE.

Gosh Alan
Most of the people who post on this blog think like you. Is it something you drink. Please tell me so I NEVER touch the stuff.
