Marc-Antoine Audette (l) and Sebastian Trudel (c) made a prank call that got through to Governor Sarah Palin, with Audette posing as French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Known as “The Masked Avengers” and heard on radio station CKOI in Montreal, they’ve tricked Britney Spears, Mick Jagger, Bill Gates, and even Sarkozy, himself.
Millions of people fell off the fence to Obama’s yard after hearing Palin’s intelligence-impaired call with the Montreal pranksters — and that was the difference in the election.
I initially liked Palin, but today I have nothing but utter contempt for the braindead ditz because of her stupidity on the call and her failure to resign when it was obvious she was going to cost McCain the election.
Unfortunately, she was more concerned with her future than she was with McCain’s and the country’s.
Hopefully Fox doesn’t give her a show, because if they do I’m through with them.

What scares me more then this is how bad the liberals want so badly a liberal in the white house that they put their blinders on and drink the kool aid so they can live with themselves. I know when questions are brought up about oh blah blah that the best thing to do is shoot back with more questions. Best political dance step. As much as everyone tries to put sarah palin down, she has the same if not more experience then oh blah blah. That’s the facts. I know its hard to accept. So when your calling her a bonehead and so under experienced what are you really saying about the person you want in office??

I hope that a number of her most senior staff get the sack over this! This was such an obvious prank, and she should never have been exposed to it. The fact that she was shows that not only is she unfit for high office, but the staff around her are unfit for Government, ‘also’!

Nothing surprises us when you have someone who is unable to screen phones by identity. She leaves herself open to more scrutiny. I hope she is able to salvage her career after the maelstrom of mud and smear.

How many people do think have ever heard of it? I didn’t until now and I’m sure she hadn’t. I guess we know how you spend your free time.
Her staff is supposed to screen and verify calls like this. It sounded to me like she had become suspicious, but by then she only had the choice to play along or potentially insult a foreign head of state. She handled it ok.
