Why are they posting all these Russian ads only on the old thread called, Summer Lovin’?

hey alan, i was watching H&C until fat head dick morris came on. i swear that man looks like he’s about to stroke out or something. he doesn’t look good. his lips and mouth twist and trembles when he talks. that man makes me wanna puke everytime i watch!
November 6th, 2008 at 9:50 pm
Donna, I agree. I know he wants to plug his book, but he mentioned it like 6 times in 2 minutes. Now I want to buy a copy of the damned book and shove it up his rear.
November 7th, 2008 at 1:24 am
DICK MORRIS SUCKS! I nearly puke watching this man spew junk from his mouth. What did the CLINTON, do to this man?
November 7th, 2008 at 1:45 am
I couldn’t agree more. Dick Morris is a bloated PIG. Clinton fires him for using campaign funds to pay for his $500/hr hooker and he has been bashing both Clintons ever since, and has even taken his wrath out on the Democratic party saddling up with Hannity, Limbaugh and the rest of the right wing kooks. He and Bill Bennett ought to go to Micky D’s and pig out on some Big Macs and fries and talk about their respective sex and gambling addictions. Both are losers.
November 7th, 2008 at 7:30 am
Jim,
Dick morris certainly earns his first name, but it is not because he is fat. You don’t strengthen your argument by making fun of his physical appearance.
November 7th, 2008 at 7:43 am
Old Lefty, Donna, Jim, Steve, and Cara.
My, my, such vitriol. Are you all like this with everyone you disagree with? I wonder if Alan Colmes condones such venomous talk from his supporters? If you don’t like Dick Morris, that is fine, but he has a right to his opinion and promoting his book.
Is it true that freedom of speech is only for liberals? I sure do get that impression.
By the way Jim, you might want to add Bill Clinton with Dick and Bill Bennett on their trip to Micky D’s.
November 7th, 2008 at 8:04 am
Willy,
What vitriol are you talking about? My questions about the Russian ads??
As for my fellow Obama supporters on this page,
After an entire campaign of “terrorist, Marxist, traitor, “Arab, radical, gay, Muslim/Christian, racist, America hating, troop hating, fake Michelle railing about “whitey”, supporting sharia law and beinging responsible MILLIONS of deaths in Kenya…..
You call US vitriolic?
WOW!!
November 7th, 2008 at 8:22 am
Old Lefty,
My apology, I didn’t mean to put your name on my response. My mistake.
If you go back and listen to several of Obama’s remarks you will see that what much of what Dick Morris said has some merit.
So, calm down a little Old Lefty. My comments were not directed at you.
November 7th, 2008 at 9:04 am
Willy,
Umm… I wouldn’t say I was spewing vitriol either, I was saying not to call Dick fat, or make fun of his appearance. I do think Dick is rude and obnoxious, he never answers the question he is asked, and he brings up the Clintons in the most tangential ways possible.
I don’t know how long you have been around this blog, but I have many, many reasonable discussions with reasonable folks I disagree with. I also call to task many liberals on this blog who say stupid things. Something I don’t remember any conservatives doing with other conservatives, by the way.
November 7th, 2008 at 9:16 am
Willy,
S’ alright
November 7th, 2008 at 9:16 am
C’mon Dick was orphaned then adopted, he found a home. I rarely visit that home but if hes happy what the hell.
November 7th, 2008 at 10:17 am
willy give me a break. i’ve heard worse coming from conservatives. dick morris is what he is and that’s a fat raving lunatic trying to promote a book nobody is buying.
November 7th, 2008 at 11:17 am
Promoting a book is fine, but what he was doing was begging. It wasn’t flattering, and it made it seem like he’s having trouble selling it.
I wouldn’t be surprised, since he blamed a stock decline on Obama being elected with plans to raise the CGT – which is just ridiculous, these people make their careers on buying and selling stock, they aren’t just going to stop because the Gains tax is increased 6 points – a 10 year old could logic better than that. The stocks dropped in anticipation of an employment report (not to mention the little economy crisis we have going on here).
And yes, I was caustic – I’ve rarely seen such pathetic self-promotion. It’s like he actually believes he is smart.
Freedom of speech is for everyone. I fully support his right to be as disgustingly sophomoric and selfish as he wishes. I also have the right to spew vitriol as it were.
November 7th, 2008 at 11:24 am
Ahh, and a quote, which covers Hannity, Rush, Morris, Colmes, Cara, Willy and everyone else in the free world, from Voltaire:
‘I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.’
November 7th, 2008 at 11:28 am
Dick Morris owes the Fox network a ton of money for promoting his book. Dick owes the American public an apology for the disservice he performed while employed by the white house. Sean…well….Sean could use some serious counseling….I hope he gets it soon.
November 7th, 2008 at 11:51 am
I’m back after a day of rest. I do work and I do need a little sleep.
OK, where were we?
Ah yes, Jersey Jim. I’m sorry, I forgot to ask, are you ok with Jersey Jim or shall I call you just Jim?
I whole heartily agree with Voltaire. I’m just saying we need a civil discussion on issues and have some respect for the people whose opinion we disagree with. We can all agree to disagree. Sometimes our emotions get in the way of discussion and unsavory words might jump out.
What say you Jim, Cara, etc…
November 7th, 2008 at 4:41 pm

Willy:
Either one, but I think there’s a Jim on here already. Call me whatever. I’m not picky. There’s a 90% chance you don’t see this response at all, so whatever.
No getting around it. Sometimes tempers flare (more often than usual on the internet – since it’s impossible for the person you offend to punch you in the face) and people say things that are considered coarse. Sometimes a person or policy will do that on these here political blogs/forums. Like Lieberman with me. I’ve hated that man since I was 12 years old; Jeb Bush is another. I lived in Florida during his Governorship and he couldn’t have screwed up our schools any more if he’d cut funding to $3.00 a year and had classes taught by trained llamas.
Palin doesn’t incite rage in me yet, but I do have a strong desire to ridicule her various foibles.
Now, if I met any of them in person, I’d probably say “Hello.” and walk away. If any of them made the mistake in pursuing further conversation with me, I’d probably rip into them pretty good. (Well, Lieberman and Jeb Bush maybe, Palin would simply get a curt tip of the hat, as I tend not to be rude towards women – something my mother ingrained into my habits while growing up) I digress. Other politicians I would love to talk to though (and why I envy the people such as Alan Colmes, Sean Hannity and so forth on various news outlets – especially Larry King, he’s the man) Politicians like Condoleeza Rice, Madeline Albright, Mitt Romney, James Carville (who I think is a 5th cousin of mine, family tree runs in multiple directions when it comes to Louisiana)
I met Fred Thompson in Nashville a long time ago, but I was 10 and didn’t really think to ask him anything, since I didn’t realize the significance of him being so near my house, or even who he really was.

This is a request intended for Joel Morton or Alan Colmes. I teach U.S. military students for the University of Maryland University College in Okinawa, Japan, and I had the students listen to Alan’s interviews with Jerry Springer and Ralph Nader. The students found both interviews extremely thought-provoking, but the interviews have since vanished form the website.. I wondered if I could download those interviews so that I could play them for future classes. I think the students would benefit greatly from hearing such well-reasoned alternative perspectives.
