Two Peace-Seeking Americans Dead In Mumbai
Alan Scherr and his 13-year-old daughter Naomi were with the Synchronicity Foundation, a group dedicated to meditation and spirituality. They were part of a 25-member delegation, four others of which were injured during the violence in India.
“Alan committed most of his adult life to meditation, spirituality and conscious living,” the foundation statement said. “He was committed to making a positive difference in the world.”
His daughter was remembered as “passionate, if not a little mischievous … a bright and lovely young woman.”

My condolences.

Am I the only one who’s going to express condolence?

My condolences also. How very, very sad and such a needless violent tragedy. My thoughts and prayers for the families of these beautiful souls. People who commit these acts bleed into the darkness of history and fade quickly. Whereas people such as Alan and his daughter, along with many of the victims, will be remembered in a positive light of contributing great deeds and goodness to earth’s Human Family. It is a tragedy that people whose soul’s light burn bright have such a short time with us. They remind me that for many Americans and others, Life Is truly Sacred and it is in that belief we will always be victorious! I pray that the families can find comfort in the Lives well lived by their loved ones. Deborah

Peace always seems to come with a price. May they find the peace they sought.

I am even more angered and saddened by this story. I am a single father with a 10 yo daughter and I can only begin to imagine the horror of this. The horror of all the victims is unimaginable.
These murdering cowards that plan well in advance to gun down unarmed innocent people is one of the most depraved acts possible for a human being to inflict on another. It is beyond words and definitions and my comprehension.
My heart goes out to the victims’ families. I pray that somehow they will find the strength to carry on.
