Pressure On Obama To Release USA’s X-Files
UFO enthusiasts want Obama to release the contents of America’s “X-Files” to have the government come clean about what it knows about extraterrestrial phenomenon. With John Podesta on the transition team and Bill Richardson a likely cabinet member, they think they have a shot. Podesta led an effort to declassify 800 million pages of documents when he was in the Clinton White House, and Bill Richardson has called for full disclosure by the Pentagon of what really happened in Roswell in 1947 in his home state of New Mexico.

The group wants the incoming president to insist on a “full briefing from your military services and intelligence agencies regarding what they know” and to open congressional hearings “to take testimony from scores of government witnesses who have already come forward with extraordinary evidence and are prepared to testify under oath.”
Stephen Bassett, Executive Director of the Extraterrestrial Phenomenon Political Action Committee, hopes to have 40,000 signatures to Obama by inauguration day. Britain and France have been more open about this with their citizens than have our government officials.
Mr Bassett also believes that military and intelligence officials have studied the technology of alien spacecraft, material that would help the US develop new energy resources, as Mr Obama wishes, that will lessen US dependency on Middle Eastern oil.

Reverse engineering.

I’m surprised Bob the Union Man hasn’t turned up to post a comment on this thread. He and I are big fans of George Noory.
The govt may release details on Roswell, but that’s it. This is truly one of those “you can’t handle the truth” situations. People who haven’t spent time fully speculating this issue are not prepared for how deep the truth goes. I’m not in the mood for a collective panic.

Well, “The truth will set your free”
I don’t think we’ll be spending years debating this….I don’t think there is too much concern over it. It “they” came….they would be deported since they didn’t follow our immegration policies….and we all know how we hate amnesty.

Just try to imagine the effect on a Vladimir Putin if the US government provides evidence that we’re reverse-engineering high tech artifacts of non-earth origin.
If there’s anything really significant in the “X-Files”, I doubt we’ll ever see them.

I, too, would love to see all of the information the government has on extra-terrestrials. I would like to know about Roswell and Area 51.
As for Putin, it is said that the Russians have their own flying saucers that they’ve been reverse engineering.
Yes, release the x-files. Let us know the truth for certain.
But you know, if they come out and say the truth is that there are no flying saucers and there are no extra-terrestrials, no body will believe them. LOL

UFOs…sorry, but I just don’t buy into UFOs. It sounds like one of David Icke’s fruitloop conspiracy theories.

Surely any civilization advanced enough to figure out how to travel between the stars would be advanced enough to avoid detection by lil’ old us.
I am almost certain that life exists on other planets, but not so sure that any of them have gotten around the problems of interstellar travel.

The thinking for me that concerns UFO,S , BIGFOOT , LOCH NESS MONSTER and so forth. These sightings are always seen by a handfull of people and with all the high tech gadgets we have, UFO,S would haved been exposed. If i was leader of some nation from MARS, I wouldn,t send my aircraft to some remote location in the dersert. I would land in NEW YORK CITY and research all the energy their. Alot of this stuff has been debunked and proven false. If it is true,i would say no for national security reasons. We don,t want someone like RUSSIA to know that we are getting aide from space. To let everyone know i am not a non believer, but i have to ? only a few people see UFO,S. That we shouldn,t focus money their with all the problems this country faces now. I want some hardcore evidence.

Star Trek has all the information you need to know about extraterrestial life. None better than Captain Kirk.

“Britain and France have been more open about this with their citizens than have our government officials.”
Probably because the U.S. Government knows what freak-out whack-jobs its citizenry can be sometimes. AND, we’re all armed to the teeth, so I can sort of see how, maybe, Obama would like to deal with, I dunno, Social Security, health care, Iraq war, international terrorism, a crumbling economy, all amid constant nattering nabobs of negativism — coming from the GOP! (Oh, the irony, Spiro Agnew!)
Instead of encouraging more paranoia, panic and insecurity in the country by picking THIS time to release UFO documentation, maybe we could worry about this after we’re finished cleaning up the mess we’ve made.

I am a George Noory fan and listen to the late night crazyness called Coast to Coast. Art Bell recently came back to do a show and he was excellent.
I don’t care for the lack of evidence or credible eye witness reports but I also think we have decided for some reason in this country that if you believe in UFOs then you instantly are some mothership praising looney. I don’t buy the whole boat with the UFO stuff but there such is something going on there. Maybe just fancy test planes but something floated over Phoenix and something catches the eyes of the honest reporters of sightnings so why not release whatever they have (if anything worth looking at) because public panic is going to happen in the age of WMDs.

NOT going to happen…I always do that.
Too cool to proof read!!
