Happy National Regifting Day

national20regifting20day

That’s because most office parties take place on the Thursday before Christmas.  But is regifting appropriate?  Why not?  In this economy, especially, if you have something you don’t want, still in pristine condition, why not share the wealth?

  1. ALAN IS A REGIFTER!

  2. There is absolutely nothing wrong with regifting.

    Sincerely,

    Danish Cookies
    Giant Can of Popcorn
    Fruitcake
    Snow Globe
    Ugly Tie
    & Singing Fish

  3. Mark, you’re a doozy. I got a singing duck once. Sad.

How many people do lame white elephant gift-giving? “Rob your neighbor,” I think the game is called.

More like a “Work up excitement for the crap other people didn’t want either” game.

  4. I want to RECIEVE my share of the bailout, so I can help PAY for it !!!!!
    (regifting) !!!!

  5. Dear Boss:

If you’re going to waste a workday, or half a workday, with a Christmas party, do me a favor and just close up shop so I can go find something interesting to do.

  6. I’m regifting my grab bag gift from last year’s Christmas party at this year’s Christmas party.

  7. We used to have a work gift exchange where your gift HAD to be something you received as a gift in the past. Several items ended up in the exchange annually, and it was fun to see who got ’stuck’ with them.

  8. I’d like to re-gift Princess Caroline Kennedy’s offer to be my Senator and give it to the people of Chicago. New York Senate seats are NOT for sale.

  9. That’s the spirit, Rocky!

  10. Correction. Their anniversary was the 20th of December. I was going by the date on the ribbon. I should have looked at the post more closely.

  11. You’ve got something to give me? I won’t decline. Least you could do is sell it on eBay.

  12. “Share the wealth”?! LOL!!! Don’t say that in front of Hannity.
