On Monday’s Radio Show…

• Former Supreme Court nominee Robert Bork speculates on President-elect Obama’s influence on the courts.

• Conservative activist Lou Engle calls on all Christians to boycott Newsweek because of its recent cover story on gay marriage.

• Eighteen is enough (or is it)? Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar just welcomed their 18th child into the world and want more. Can you be a good parent with that many children?

  1. It’s OUR country and don’t you forget it.

  2. You can’t argue about anything with bible thumpers. Especially anything concerning religion, Jesus or the Bible.

“Religion”, “Jesus” and the “Bible” belong to them, not you.

Go argue with a tree instead. At least the tree will give you shade from the sun, which is more than you’ll get in return from the devout.

  3. I actually thought it was somewhat decent.

  4. My biggest fear of the Obama Administration is possible Supreme Court nominations. Liberals on the high court tend to legislate from the bench, which is not their job.

  5. Silly Willy, the Supreme Court doesn’t legislate, they determine the constitutionality of legislation. But to be fair, I would fear Republican administration nominations to the SCOTUS.

  6. Someone called last night decrying the Christians’ stance against homosexuality, and poorly used the statement that “even Jesus said ‘Judge not, lest ye be judged’”. Why must Bible-haters try to use Scripture, and then only know that verse from matthew 7:1 when they do? If he would have read the rest of the pericope, it clears shows that we are indeed to judge, and to do so properly. Simply put, I need to make sure I am “clean” if I am going to judge someone else, and if mine is a reprobate life, then I need to clean that up first. But Jesus judged for sure, and will again, per John 12:48.
Even still, the Bible makes it clear that judgement for the non-believer should be left to God, and believers should judge themselves according to God’s Word. It’s really rather simple, yet so many who hate God so badly misuse His Word to try to make a point, or to “feel” better about themselves.
Merry Christmas! Or if you don’t like Christmas, Happy Holydays!

  7. CAS,

It is no different than the atheists decrying a nativity scene, then when their sign is stolen they use one of the 10 commandments to condemn whoever stole it.
