Ann Coulter? Fast forward.
No, I don’t care what she has to say about anything.
January 5th, 2009 at 7:00 pm
So we have a Senator Franken now? Seriously?

January 5th, 2009 at 7:10 pm
Oh, come on Liberal. How are you going to know what your opposition is thinking if you don’t want to hear what they have to say?
January 5th, 2009 at 7:26 pm
~Willy, sometimes they don’t want to hear what any one else has to say. That’s why they wonder why a conservative would come to a liberal blog. Could it be we would like to hear what our opposition has to say???
January 5th, 2009 at 8:17 pm
Good to see Alan will be back tonight!!! Watch out all you righties. Alan is rested and ready to take you on!!
January 5th, 2009 at 8:20 pm
I love to hear ‘em cry….like hearing a spoiled child after a well deserved spanking….
January 5th, 2009 at 8:21 pm
Ann Coulter is an IDIOT!!! That is being Kind. I can’t stand to see her on TV. She makes me really ill to look at her and hear her voice. Should I be frank? The only one I like and can listen too is Alan Colms. He makes the most logical sence to me. Keep up the good work Alan.
January 5th, 2009 at 8:32 pm
A comedian to represent the state of Minn. what’s next a pro-wrestler for gov. oh sorry already happened. The state must be proud!!!
January 5th, 2009 at 8:40 pm

January 5th, 2009 at 8:43 pm
What troubles me about the MN election is there are 25 polls where they have more ballots than registered voters.
January 5th, 2009 at 8:45 pm
Alan is out-gunned KO in the first round. weak chin dim witted can’t take a punch hits like a girl.
January 5th, 2009 at 9:05 pm
MK -Not Alan BOOM BOOM Colmes. He TKO’s Ann in the third round…
January 5th, 2009 at 9:21 pm
MK
You mean like the girls who lost lives and limbbs in Iraq and Afganistan?
January 5th, 2009 at 9:46 pm
Ann Coulter is only out to make a buck. She becomes more outrageous, in each book, to sell books to folks who are deluding themselves if they think she is a conservative. This woman is an opportunist and laughs all the way to the bank but, not from any of my earned money. I wouldn’t even buy her trash if I a copy of one her books at a yard sale for five cents.
January 5th, 2009 at 9:49 pm
Old Lefty:
Give me a break!
January 5th, 2009 at 10:11 pm
Alan why are you giving this screech air time? She hasn’t said a positive thing in her whole life. Coulter is a total disgrace in every possible way.
In case there is any doubt, I don’t like her or her kind. Her ‘kind’ are not conservatives, they’re opportunist media whores.
January 5th, 2009 at 10:15 pm
Ann Coulter should be put in wikipedia under the word “skank”. She is an alcoholic chain smoker who only makes her outrageous statements to sell her books to buy more chardonnay and black mini-dresses. The sooner people stop paying attention to this road-house ho’ the quicker she will be on the unemployment line. Ms. Coulter is nothing more than an opportunist who likes to live the high life and go to smart cocktail parties.
January 5th, 2009 at 10:17 pm
… and she thinks she’s hot.
She looks like an ostrich on crack.
January 5th, 2009 at 10:30 pm
Get him Ann!!!
January 5th, 2009 at 10:31 pm
Yeah, poor Ann, still no ring on that finger. Oh, I forgot she uses it to make herself throw-up.
January 5th, 2009 at 10:42 pm
Ann Coulter? In the same studio? Within arm’s reach?
This is Colmes’ chance to finally earn his place as a patriot American.
Put aside your pacifist leanings and do what you have to do, Alan!! Sometimes, there’s no other option than violence!! The ends sometimes justify the means!!
Prison will be a small price to pay for making America a better place. Think of the book deal you’ll get out of it. And, maybe a movie.
January 5th, 2009 at 10:45 pm
Perhaps we can all pool our money and buy this talking corpse (Coulter) a really nice coffin and nail it shut..for good. (Stake threw the heart won’t work…she doesn’t have one…ask the 911 widows about that.)

January 5th, 2009 at 10:48 pm
She has nice legs but, oy, what a waste the rest of Ann Coulter is.
I wonder if she believes half of what she says or if the whole thing’s only a show directed at her marks … er, I mean conservative book buying customers.
Didn’t I read the other day she had her jaw wired shut? It’s a shame they cut the wires and released her back on the world.
January 5th, 2009 at 10:54 pm
It does make one wonder PFKAM.
January 5th, 2009 at 10:57 pm
Hey, that Peppermint Patty reference was pretty funny, wasn’t it? I amaze myself sometimes.
January 5th, 2009 at 10:59 pm
It was funny but the Navin R. Johnson reference was funnier.

January 5th, 2009 at 11:38 pm
Exactly. Actually, I do have one ulterior interest… shutting up these Longhorn fans out here. It’s lonely being a Gator (and a liberal) in Texas.
January 5th, 2009 at 11:44 pm

January 5th, 2009 at 11:44 pm

“A man has ta hit hiz woman every once in a while ta keep her in line. Elsewise, she gits uppity and the next thang ya know she’s goin’ off ta git a job or sumthin’. She needs ta stop worryin’ about workin’ so much and worry ’bout stayin’ at home ta git my dinner on the table. When I get home from workin’ at the gin, I need my vittles after she gitz me my beer. The good book sez a woman needz ta jus’ accept her place in the peckin’ order and that’s jus’ the way the world is. A woman who won’t jus’ accept a good beatin’ from her husband every once in a while is not payin’ attention in church.”

Your Merlin guests are interesting but their appearances on Coast to Coast AM place their credibility in question.
And their website headline advertisement for their “Magic LED light injury healer” only adds to the credibility questioning.
Quack, quack.
Many people think Nostradamus also had a ear to the future. To me, he was only proof that if you make enough predictions a few of them are bound to come “true”. Of course, in hindsight we always forget what they got “wrong” and only remember what they got “right”.
I predict the sun will come up tomorrow. I’ll be back tomorrow night to say, “I told ya so.”
January 6th, 2009 at 12:50 am
Ha!!! A radio plug for their magic LED healer device!! And it’s only $80!!
Their LED healer looks suspiciously like the red LED lights (the 4-inch diameter NAPA/Truck-lite version) I just put on the back of my truck.
Who’d of thunk night-time auto visibility devices could double as medical devices?
January 6th, 2009 at 12:58 am
I don,t need to put my 2 cents in about Ann Coulter. The remarks on this blog suits this just fine.
January 6th, 2009 at 7:06 am
Leon Panetta was named to be head of the CIA because he will follow orders and not buck the liberal agenda. This will cause a mass exodus of talented people from the agency because they know that no one will have their back. We will then be blindsided by the crisis that Biden predicted. Without information there is no intelligence. So much for touchy-feely. Get over yourselves so that we can be protected from our declared enemies.
January 6th, 2009 at 9:36 am
Wow, and I thought that was Bush’s CIA….no one will let fighting terrorism get in the way of our pre 9/11 plans to invade Iraq.
January 6th, 2009 at 9:48 am
Usually you only have a guest on for 30 minutes. I thought I could stomach her for that. I did, but after the half hour she was still on. I turned the channel to another station–for the first time since I’ve been listening to you.
Please, don’t have that blathering idiot on again.
Thank You.
January 6th, 2009 at 3:05 pm
Reading the comments on this blog tells me that Ann Coulter is doing her job. All I can do is sit here, read your comments and chuckle.
I have always said that liberals have no sense of humor.
January 6th, 2009 at 6:27 pm
Willy:
You’re gonna sit there and tell me that my “Peppermint Patty” reference wasn’t funny?
I worked hard on that zinger and I have read it back to myself several times and still crack myself up. You’re the one without a sense of humor.
P.S. Congrats on the Fiesta Bowl
January 6th, 2009 at 6:49 pm
PFKAM,
Sorry, I didn’t read your “Pepperming Patty” reference.
Went back up to read it. Good one!!
Ok, I will rephrase my comment. Most liberals have no sense of humor.
I was hoping for a different outcome. Bucks missed the tackle on the winning td. That happens in football. Congrats to Texas and their fans.
January 6th, 2009 at 7:26 pm
My keyboard can’t spell tonight. I meant Peppermint.
Excuse me.
January 6th, 2009 at 7:27 pm
I think The big 12 is worst than ANN COULTER. Okies,Red Raiders and Texas had a really hard time. Seems to me Gators will chowing down on horses and a wagon. Perhaps the folks riding on Booner Sonner and i hope ANN COULTER IS onboard.
January 6th, 2009 at 7:34 pm
Since Ann is going after single mothers….hmmmm…I wonder if part of her insults to single mothers include her friend Laura Ingraham….hmmmm
Please, Alan don’t have her on your show again. I still have a headache from listening to her ranting and raving last night. She was talking (ranting and screeching) so much last night that the tone from the radio sounded like fingers scratching a chalkboard. Let the right wing radio talking heads have her! She is in her element in that environment.
January 6th, 2009 at 7:50 pm
And speaking of her attacks on single mothers, I wonder if her diatribe last night will include young, unwed mother Bristol Palin?
BTW, all you right wingers, I never criticized Bristol Palin on this board. It’s Ann Coulter who is bashing and criticizing single mothers and their offspring.
Sorry Alan but, I found Ann Coulter to be very insulting last night. That woman needs to try taking a walk in a single mother’s shoes before she criticizes and insults these people. From the beginning of time, there have been mighty fine women who have raised good citizens.
January 6th, 2009 at 7:57 pm
Just what everyone needs…
Child rearing advise from the childless.
January 6th, 2009 at 8:09 pm
“”Sorry Alan but, I found Ann Coulter to be very insulting last night.”"
Lol, don’t worry ANITA you are not alone on this one – Ms. Coulter is meant to be entertaining, not taken seriously by anyone except the far far right.
Like a trained monkey, if you put a quarter in her cup she will dance and twist and leap around, spitting right-wing vitriol and mock outrage as long as Hannity or O’Reilly keep grinding the organ…
A study by the New York times found that most people buy her books, not to read, but as gifts to adorn the coffee tables of angry conservatives, where they remain largely unread….Like Gingrich’s ‘book’…
January 6th, 2009 at 8:16 pm
Hell ! What man wants a baby from from her? I would seriouly consider in killing myself if i became stuck on a island with that lady.
January 6th, 2009 at 8:18 pm
I bought an Anne Coulter book a few years ago… I couldn’t get past the first 3 pages. There was so much hatred espoused on those pages that it was revolting – and I consider myself a conservative with a pretty good lean to the middle. Her hateful persona is really quite sad – if it’s just a “brand” in order to sell books and be wealthy then I’d rather be flat broke.
January 6th, 2009 at 8:25 pm
MK
You mean like the girls who lost lives and limbbs in Iraq and Afganistan?
That was a very low cheap shot even from you oldlefty
January 6th, 2009 at 8:30 pm
Lol @
“”A woman who won’t jus’ accept a good beatin’ from her husband every once in a while is not payin’ attention in church.””
Yikes!
Got any more 1960’s Reagan quotes?
January 6th, 2009 at 8:40 pm
MK,
I find it VERY offensive that at a time, when so many are unaffected by this war, and 33 female soldiers–three in Afghanistan and 30 in Iraq–have been killed since operations started in Afghanistan in 2001 and Iraq in 2003 and 240 women have sustained combat-related wounds in Iraq and Afghanistan, that people STILL act like courage and toughness are male qualities.
It’s time to that myth give up.
January 6th, 2009 at 8:41 pm
What gets me about Ann Coulter is all of the crying from the right wingers about the bad treatment she is getting from the “liberal media.” If she is so saintly and conservative then why does she want to even appear on those “bad” shows with those “guilty” people? I don’t like spiders and snakes so, I, naturally, stay away from those things.
This woman stows away in south FL to write these offensive books. Upon fininishing her “masterpiece” she can’t wait to fly to NYC to appear in the abhorrent liberal media rooms…such irony from someone who brags about all of the money she makes from selling these rags to the conservative audience. If her work is so wonderful…why does she need the “liberal media” to
help her sell her wares? It amazes me that she has so trashed a medium that helped put a few dollars in her pocket. Now, she wants to boo-hoo and have all of her right wing buddies on the radio talk of the bad treatment she is getting from the bad “liberal media.”
January 6th, 2009 at 8:56 pm
Old,
You finally said something I agree with
January 6th, 2009 at 9:04 pm
What in the world are you talking about have you been following the post at all?
First off it doesn’t make any difference the gender of the body in the flag draped coffin coming home is. I have never question the courage or bravery of any man or woman whose has the courage to sling a rifle and go into harms way. I have had my boots in the sand as well “operation desert storm 90-91″ and two tours to Iraq and 1 in afganistan. All people are affected by this war but one way is standing up and supporting the troops and the other is the constant whining about it being an unjust war. Constant complaining doesn’t help anything or anyone other than the enemy.
January 6th, 2009 at 9:05 pm
MK,
You’re the one who said:
“Alan is out-gunned KO in the first round. weak chin dim witted can’t take a punch hits like a girl.”
January 6th, 2009 at 9:23 pm
kudos there MK. our enemies gain a lot of steam from the constant bantering that we are losing, failing, will never win, the war is illegal (which it isn’t), we are wrong, they are right, it is our fault, etc etc etc.
not only does it give our enemy steam but it diminishes the morale for those serving.
January 6th, 2009 at 9:28 pm
Oldlefty
getting kinda of tired of having to explain this to you
read the whole blog …. it was a joke with someone else and you take it personal grow some thicker skin or develop a sense of humor before you end up in a padded room.
Enjoy this blog for what it is people from opposing veiwpoints making people think. poking jabs at the opposite party or maybe there own but just enjoying the conversation without getting personal.
January 6th, 2009 at 9:32 pm
Mk,
I just get sick to death of, throws, fights, runs like a girl, girly men, who has what body parts, etc like there are not woman with more courage than many of the men making these comments.
Once I saw talk show host Randi Rhodes on CNN arguing with a 20 something about Iraq.
She is an AF vet, and he is telling her, “I know people in Iraq”,
She shouts back, “You should be in Iraq. When I was your age I wore the uniform”
He replies, “I like baseball, but I don’t wear a Yankees uniform. I stay here to fight the culture wars.”
I have not been in the military, I don’t believe in many of the missions our politicians send on kids on, but I would not sit there as a healthy, able bodied person, saying we have to do WHATEVER it takes, But, not ME!
Also,
The writer of the Post-Gazette article , Jack Kelly, explored this question in his story that ran on Aug. 11. Kelly wrote of a Marine recruiter, Staff Sgt. Jason Rivera, who went to an affluent suburb outside of Pittsburgh to follow up with a young man who had expressed interest in enlisting. He pulled up to a house with American flags displayed in the yard. The mother came to the door in an American flag T-shirt and openly declared her support for the troops.
But she made it clear that her support only went so far.
“Military service isn’t for our son,” she told Rivera. “It isn’t for our kind of people.”
My problem is, if it isn’t for OUR kind of people, it isn’t for ANY kind of people.
Sorry if I’m too thin skinned about that AND the gender thing, but it REALLY makes me mad.
January 6th, 2009 at 9:51 pm
Point taken I understand a little better now thanks
January 6th, 2009 at 10:23 pm
MK:
Are you married?
January 6th, 2009 at 11:56 pm
Looking for a spouse, PFKAM??
January 7th, 2009 at 8:22 am
OHHHHHH NOOOOOOO!
One is plenty. Thank you.
I just got a kick out of the thread. MK has already learned when he’s been out manned… errr…WOmanned. Gotta know when to hold ‘em and know when to fold ‘em.
