Not-gay former Idaho Senator Larry Craig will not appeal his conviction in the airport sex sting, where he initially pleaded guilty. He then changed his mind when word of his arrest became public.

My problem with Craig and jerks like him is their hypocrisy. They are vocal about something, this case against gays while they secretly themselves are gay. I agree with MrFrosty on this. One of the many problems conservatives have is that they don’t realize that gay people are conservatives as well, though I don’t understand why they would stay in a group that hates them.

Never ceases to amaze me that these ‘faux’ conservatives do such a nice job in talking the talk. As a conservative myself, being a conservative is a WHOLE lot more than talk. For me, it’s more important to maintain honor in public service, which I have had in my time with the government.
I was surprised that Barney Frank didn’t try to ‘out’ Craig but then I’m sure he’s got other matters on his plate.

Larry Craig was caught in a public bathroom doing the body language that apparently gay males use to solicit anonymous sex, and he got caught.
What gets me is the hypocrisy of Craig. He votes against gay issues and he himself IS gay, though desperately trying to deny it. Like Ted Haggard claiming after he was caught with a male prostitute is now claiming he never said he was heterosexual ( though he has a wife and five children), why don’t these guys just plain from the get go admit they are gay and be done with it?
Oh, I forgot. Their supporters don’t like gays and these weasels are too addicted to their fame and power to do the right thing. Hey, aren’t they supposed to be the moral and ethical ones? Oops, did I say politicians are moral and ethical? Silly me…..

He’s not crooked. He’s a hypocrite. Liberals don’t care if he’s gay. We have a problem when he preaches about how evil gays are, yet indulges in homosexual behavior himself. We just think it’s funny.
Like the guy who had a potatoe stuck up his bum. If he would have just gone to the emergency room and said “oops”, the nurses and doctors would have had a good laugh, but it would be forgotten in a day or two. It’s his excuse about how the potato got up there is laughable.

Yes, in fact, there are the same percentage of homosexual men and women in the GOP, the churches, teaching your schools etc.
The difference is that liberals accept, and embrace the diversity, whereas staunch conservatives and especially religious fundamentalist continue to preach hatred and intolerance… lol…all the while having 10% of them engage in enthusiastic gay sex!!
