$3.7 Million Offered For Woman’s Virginity

January 12th, 2009, 5:31 PM EST

Natalie Dylan is auctioning off her virginity to pay for her Master’s Degree.

Miss Dylan, from San Diego, California, USA, said she was persuaded to offer herself to the highest bidder after her sister Avia, 23, paid for her own degree after working as a prostitute for three weeks.

She said she had had a lot of attention from a wide range of men, including “weirdos”, “those who get really graphically sexual about what they want to do to me” and “lots of polite requests from rich businessmen”.

Miss Dylan said she did not think it was particularly significant to be willing to sell your virginity and insisted that she was happy to undergo medical tests for any doubters.

And she wants to be clear on one thing: This is not about having a relationship.  It’s a one night stand, and that’s it.  Is one roll in the hay really worth millions of dollars?

  1. Do the ends justify the means? Depends on your morality. (Of course, if you’re an atheist then morality is irrelevant and ANYTHING GOES! Always gotta throw that in.)

Is this an example of slut who is still a virgin? Is that even possible?

  2. Uh, what? I’m an atheist, my “morality” is just as relevent as yours. I just don’t need an old book to tell me how to be a good person, I can think for myself, thank you very much.

  3. Hmmmm? Seems pricey. Will she take a check?

  6. Old News!

  7. Her sister, Avia, is a real good role model, huh? I wonder if she does motivational speaking events? “you can be anything you wanna be, just look at me! I slept with random guys for 3 weeks to pay for I wanted to be!” “You can do it, too!”

    I’m so motivated, right now…

  10. Gross. I think sooo much less of this woman now. I don’t even know her beyond this blog post and she is grossing me out. I think I’m gonna puke.

She should just skip this and sell her body like a piece of meat. If she is only as vauble as her … then she should be out there getting STDs and having a great time with fat bastards and wife beaters and those types.

What is even more disgusting is that she is getting enough offers to make the figure so high. People obviously think something good happens when you have sex with an attractiv woman beyond just sex. Like the sky will open up and money will rain down from above. Sad and pathetic.

What if she was a man? A man selling his viginity would get about, I dunno, ten bucks. How about some ugly, fat woman selling her virginity? Maybe about 15 bucks.

Miss Dylan is glad I don’t know her personally becuase I’d have a big earfull for her about this. No self-respect at all. I want nothing to do with this woman and any woman who thinks so low of themselves.

Try this out guys: Say no to a hot woman when she wants something from you. Prove your not a slave to them and suddenly they respect you more.

  11. How entertaining to see bible-thumpers condemning this girl…when in fact the bible is full of ‘auctioned’ daughters, lol

  12. “[S]he was happy to undergo medical tests for any doubters.”

There’s a small problem with that statement… The hymen, the “proof of virginity”, doesn’t even exist. It’s a myth. I can’t find an English translation of the Danish article I’m citing (http://avisen.dk/myten-om-moedommen-punkteret_13240.aspx), so you’ll have to trust me on this one.

A huge groups of Swedish and Danish gynecologists and midwives have gotten together to release this article. There is no hymen. There is a membrane that outlines the opening of the vagina, but it doesn’t “break” when you have sex. Women have it until the day they die. The reason some women bleed the first time they have sex (it’s only one in five who bleed), is because they’re tighter, and probably more tense, than a person who has had sex before, and blood vessels in said membrane may burst.

This means that there is no physical way of telling if a woman has had sex before. Knowing this, virginity stops being worth anything in a physical sense, doesn’t it? I doubt this guy paid 3,7 million for her virginal mind. I guess a man might find it exciting to “go where no man has gone before”, but in a purely physical sense he might as well do her sister, or any other prostitute.

The article goes on to say that the hymen myth was created and encouraged by men as a way of controlling women and female sexuality. Which makes a lot of sense, when you consider how the Old Testament demands we stone any woman who doesn’t bleed on her wedding night. Middle Eastern cultures still push the myth relentlessly.

Wow, tl;dr on virginity and hymens. Sorry about that.

Mr Frosty – For a man of such obvious intelligence (and I mean that sincerely) and who seems to be appalled by anything “spiritual”, it seems you almost want to elicit religious-based debate based on your frequent injection of anti-Bible/anti-Christian rhetoric. :)

  26. Hi, Um!

I come on the blog every now and then but I mostly read and post every now and then. I have to admit – I can’t keep up with most of you on here – too smart for me I guess! :)

Voting was a struggle for me. I really do view myself as a “Republicrat”. I know I’ll get hammered from some people here, but I voted the experience factor and my social convictions which are conservative. In retrospect, and in my heart of hearts, do I think McCain would be the best leader in these troublesome times – probably not. Obama’s health care and other plans would have benefited my daughter greatly but I just couldn’t break with the convictions of my heart.

I will tell you that I have high hopes for Obama, and I pray to God that his presidency will be a blessed one. You won’t hear me voice any negativity about him until it’s deserved, and thus far it is not.

  45. (Of course, if you’re an atheist then morality is irrelevant and ANYTHING GOES! Always gotta throw that in.)

    Flapp:

    Why did you say that?

  46. by the looks of her pose in this photo, she is obviously experienced in opening her legs.

  47. What’s the chances of her getting arrested for for prostitution?

  48. Flapp,

By this time in my life, I am able, willing (and entitled) to make certain assumptions about posters, based on what they say, and where they say it.

The fact that you went right for the kill with your (atheists have no moral values/ anything goes) nonsense shows you clearly to be one of the millions of Americans that think that the only “good” people are religious people.

Of course there was a chance that you were a muslim fundamentalist, they too think the only way man is ‘good’ is by divine order and obedience to god’s command. However your crude use of the term ’slut’ shows this to be unlikely.

Naw, I think I hit the nail on the head. You are a big “C” christian – the worst and most harmful kind of christian. These types of ‘christians’ don’t really give a toot about the actual teachings of Christ.

Instead, they are part of a’club’ of intolerant, frightened-of-death, and largely ignorant-of-science people that feel they have a direct line to ‘god’ because they get together and listen to some (usually charismatic) preacher shout and rail on about how we are all “inherently” evil (sinners) and how “Jesus died for your sins (not mine, he didn’t, thank you very much) and all the rest of the hooey that goes with it.

They think that ‘god’ disapproves of gays, dope-smoking, taxes, liberals, thrash metal, and any number of things that god, if she exists, wouldn’t give a tinker’s damn about anyway…instead they are things that ‘conservatives’ don’t like.

And the worst kind of hypocrite is one who presumes to know the mind of their god, isn’t it?

When in fact what bothers big “C” christians is anything or anybody that lives outside the narrow confines of their OWN lives.

They didn’t understand science in high school and so they are relieved to find like-minded people. They are “empowered” by the strength in their numbers, and feel that “only they” know how the rest of us should live our lives.

They think the bible is somehow written by god himself, and they refuse to accept the truth, that it was written by men. Supersticious men that feared death, lightning and earthquakes!

I truly feel sorry for the minority of people that don’t feel a natural compassion for their fellow man, without being told by ‘god’ to do so. Only the fear of hell keeps these people in line, apparently.

And this carp about Atheists having no morality, unbelievable. The atheists I know are humanists. They have compassion and love for humanity without passing the buck to some intangible deity. They are healers, scientists, teachers, social activists, artists, engineers etc etc.

They don’t need to be told by a “god” to have compassion.

Do organized religions do good works? Of course many do.
But there’s always a trade-off, isn’t there? Are they also a bit selective about who gets their help? You bet!

The Catholic church for instance has many charities and causes – but do they promote safer sex in third world countries?
No, in fact the pope actively lies and says condoms don’t help, and that contraception is a sin!

Horrifying. Religions that support this nonsense have the blood of millions of the poor dying of aids on their hands!!

    So yeah, you’re a ‘bible thumper’…

  49. Perhaps FLAPP can explain why Christians make up 95% of those in prison.
While Atheists and Agnostics make up less that 1%.
Conservative figures put A/A at 9% of the population. Christians make up 81% (84% if you include the pseudo Christians and cults).

  50. Times are tough. This girl seems to have been led astray by her sister. I guess I can’t blame her too much, however, as too many women use their wiles to get what they want – even in marriage. It is “just” a one night stand, but in a way, it is “just” giving up. I hate to see anyone give up.

  51. [...] Alan Colmes asks, Is one roll in the hay really worth millions of dollars? [...]

  52. Mr. Frosty,

I know this will mean precious little and I know this is not the place to “pump sunshine” but I mean this from the very bottom of my heart. I apologize. You have obviously heard a lot of venom spewed from mouths/keyboards in the name of Christianity. I just want you to know there are church-goers and there are Christians. A Christian is one who strives to be Christ-like. There are many people who fill the church pews and the pulpits who have no business wearing the name Christian, and if there truly is a heaven they won’t be seeing it.

I personally believe, that Christ represents our hope. We put our hope for tomorrow in Christ whereas Atheists put their hope for tomorrow in Science – that in no way makes one a better/smarter person than the other. Personally I put my hope in both because I look at Science as a God-given gift to man.

As a person who has both sought divine intervention as well as scientific/medical intervention for the healing of my daughter, and have been disappointed on both sides, I understand how easy it is to not believe. I’ve been tempted to go down that road at times myself, but something keeps drawing me back – and that is hope. Perhaps it shows my weakness as a person, I don’t know, but I can get through this hell my family has been allowed to suffer much easier with hope of eternity.

Thank you, Mr. Frosty, for always challenging me/us to examine what we believe and why we believe it. Your posts, while often stinging, are always thought provoking and cause me to search my heart and thus far I come back to my same conclusion – without hope I have nothing and for me Christ is that hope.

    Respectfully,
    Rise’

P.S. I’m still bummed about all I’ve learned regarding the founding fathers – that one has been a bitter pill to swallow! :)

  53. Typical liberal pap….anything goes do anything for a liberal education.

  54. Good post rise(n)…

And you’re right, I have heard and read much hatred from religions. But what does man’s ‘religion’ and church, really, have to do with ‘god’?, I remind myself. This sounds odd, indeed, doesn’t it? But bear with me…

I don’t have to look far to see the damage that an unwavering belief in a “holy” book does, do I? Or a tribal-like following of a certain organized religion, to the exclusion of all others?

In general, Rise(n) I probably should try harder to explain that I believe there is a huge difference in believing in ‘god(s)’, or for that matter, the teachings of Christ (which were generally quite nice)….a big difference between that (Christianity) and what, as you know, I call ‘Big “C” christianity…which I think I outlined in my gentle and diplomatic manner at 12:53.

    ;-)

The only point of contention I have here is this:

    You say:

“”We put our hope for tomorrow in Christ whereas Atheists put their hope for tomorrow in Science”"

    Fair enough, but:
You can no more fairly lump all atheists together as believing that “hope is in science”, than you can lump all Christians in as believing in the holy trinity, or speaking in tongues, or handling poisonous snakes for that matter…

While it is true that the VAST majority of scientists are technically atheists…at least when it comes to a ‘personal’ god that looks over our shoulder, disapproves of rap music, creates the earth in 6 days…etc etc…

….many scientists ( my retired biologist dad amongst them – he’s a Quaker, as is me mom!)) believe in some sort of binding force, a common humanity, an enlightened ‘involuntary’ compassion that humans have for each other…and they are happy to call that force, or power, ‘God’.

In short, they are humanists, and believe, like Christ did, that there is good in ALL of us…It’s the CHURCH who has decided we’re all filled with sin, and are evil, and should be ashamed of ourselves!

    No thanks.

…sadly, we ARE only human. We are beasts. And as such we are tribal and xenophobic…things that were useful to us in the early days of our consciousness. And when we blindly follow our ‘holy books’ as history, law and science…we often lose sight of the real beauty of mankind – that inside, we are ALL the same species/race/people. And that we meant to care for each other, and have compassion, and empathy, and understanding…not all this war about whose god(s) is more merciful, or whose ‘tribe’ is the “best in the world”…

All things that I think, at the end of the day, ALL religions aspire to, but so few achieve…

Although there are many small candles that try to light the darkness…

    peace
    john

  55. Mr. Frosty (John)-

You’re right. I did make a broad assumption when I said “…Atheists put their hope in Science.” That wasn’t meant to be an unfair categorical assessment, I just assumed that would be a logical deduction…my bad. Perhaps the root of the problem is my ignorance of other philosphies – I believe you’ve mentioned that to other posters, and it is a point well taken.

You are so right about the organized Christian church/religion. They are man-made. While I belong to a church, I recognize that all organized “religion” is man-made and is generally flawed. “The Church” (in my case Christian Church) has become an institution rather than a like-minded people getting off their rears to share the love of Christ by feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, etc. It’s my heart’s desire to change even a little portion of that.

    Have a great evening.

I didn’t ask you to, just said I didn’t know what you meant by ‘technical’ atheist. You didn’t need to explain it to me if you didn’t want to.

And so they are ‘technically’ atheists when it comes to a ‘personal’ god, because is it simply not possible to do any meaningful science whilst believing that the earth was created in 6 days, is 6000 years old, evolution is a “made-up lie” and that ‘cave men’ interacted with dinosaurs, LOL

Plenty of folks who are not atheists don’t believe that, including a devout southern baptist principle scientist I worked for.

And so I can’t even imagine what “your experience” with science and scientists is… Astrology? Levitation? Perpetual motion machines?

Worked in a research lab for a couple of years, got my undergrad in chemistry, started graduate work in environmental chemistry, but dropped out in the pursuit of filthy lucre. Have maintained my lifelong interest in science, subscribe to the journals Science and Nature, and participate in a small astrophysics group where I currently work (mostly we just swap books and chat about them). Have a few friends who are professors (biology and chemistry).

    Astrology? Levitation? Perpetual motion machines?

I dated a girl who believed in astrology, so I guess I have some experience with it. I have seen illusionists ‘perform’ levitation, so you can call that experience too. Haven’t run into a perpetual motion machine though, stupid law of thermodynamics.

Rabbits in the Cambrian fossil record perhaps?

Wabbits are wiley and waskely, but I don’t think they were around way back then.

You have some weird assumptions. And weird ideas about what science is.

  65. Danielle: LOL!

  66. OK UM CARA, no worries.

I`m pretty sure you already know the difference between a Deist and a Theist.

    – Between Francis Collins’ gentle and unassuming belief that “God”, e.g.”the creator force” used evolution over billions of years as a tool of ‘creation’…And a bible-thumping new-earth creationist that believes all the nonsense of the bible, and believes in a ‘personal’ God, – the interventionalist, over-the-shoulder watching, Jesus-as-divine God that a Theist believes in?

If not, when you get around to losing the big ole Red White and Blue chip on your shoulder that I seem to have caused with my criticism of US policy, I’d be happy to rap more about it.

You have WAY more experience, education and interest in science than I would have ever have guessed, given your use of straw man arguments , which you seem, to me anyway, to keep using to imply that the God of Einstein, Newton and now Collins, is the God of the Christian church.

I will repeat my position once more, slightly re-iterated, and see if you can even manage a half-hearted salute…?

“” A firm majority of credible, published, and peer-reviewed scientists are atheists, when it comes to the God of the bible, (The ‘personal’ God) and all the hooey that goes with it: Virgin births, 980 year-old men, Resurrection of the dead, the trinity, heaven, hell… Et cetera.

    Any luck?
    No?
    Yeah?

Anyway, I kinda dug your ad hominem attack. I know I probably was meant to insulted, oops, sorry:

“”You have some weird assumptions. And weird ideas about what science is.”"

I do? Cool. Thanks UM CARA.
    How did you know?
Did you see a pic of me with my tinfoil hat?
Because if you did, erm, it was a Halloween party!

That’s my story and I’M A’STICKIN’ TO IT!

  67. 3.7 million for one virgin? I heard of a way to get 72 for free.. it takes some indoctrination time and well you gotta die but a bargain is a bargain. Ok actually I don’t believe this story but she is smokin hot!!!

  68. Craig said: 3.7 million for one virgin? I heard of a way to get 72 for free..

    Craig,

I wonder how long it takes them – while working their way through their 72 virgins – to realize that when they get done they will have 72 wives?

  69. BM,

I`m pretty sure you already know the difference between a Deist and a Theist.

Right. And I know the difference between a deist and an atheist too.

If not, when you get around to losing the big ole Red White and Blue chip on your shoulder that I seem to have caused with my criticism of US policy, I’d be happy to rap more about it.

I don’t really think I have a chip on my shoulder re: your criticism of US policy, it’s when you make broad generalizations about a country you don’t know nearly as much about as you think you do that irritates me.

You, on the other hand, have a pretty big chip on your shoulder re: religion.

You have WAY more experience, education and interest in science than I would have ever have guessed, given your use of straw man arguments , which you seem, to me anyway, to keep using to imply that the God of Einstein, Newton and now Collins, is the God of the Christian church.

Can you please point to a few instances where I keep doing that?

I will repeat my position once more, slightly re-iterated, and see if you can even manage a half-hearted salute…?

That’s not re-iterating, that is saying something completely different than your original statement I commented on. Remember it?

While it is true that the VAST majority of scientists are technically atheists

    as for:

“”You have some weird assumptions. And weird ideas about what science is.””

I do? Cool. Thanks UM CARA.

I was referring to the fact that you think things like astrology have anything to do with science, and your assumption that I was a creationist. It wasn’t meant to be an insult, just an observation. I apologize that it came across as an insult.

  70. [...] Grad student Natalie Dylan tells Alan why she’s auctioning off her virginity to pay for her Master’s [...]

  71. Virgin? Yeah right, my dad is the Pope. Hopefully the skanktress gets popped for prostitution, interstate solicitation, wire fraud, etc. She’s been poked more than my granny’s pin cushion. Even with the Glamour Shot she ain’t worth 1/100 of the high bid. A sucker and his ill gotten money are soon to part.

  72. This is a scam!
I’d also be suprised if the so called high bid is actually real as the spread (no pun intended) between high bid and next highest bid is so great. But at 1 million, that’s not a bad take.
That whore house in Nevada which she spoke of in the interview with Alan Colmes is behind it.
Remember: There’s a sucker born every minute!

  73. I wonder if he has seen what she looks like. She really is not particularly pretty. She may have to wear a bag over her head!

  74. Take a real good look at her photo. Do you ACTUALLY think she’s still a virgin? And let’s be honest here. What guy other than an OB/GYN could “tell” if a woman is a virgin or not?

Or to put it another way, she’s a one-time prostitute who wants a dumb male to pay for the illusion she’s a virgin.

She’s a virgin in the same way Jessica Hahn was when she and Bakker did it in a hotel room. Her claim of being a ” church secretary” who supposedly was slipped a mickey and lost her virginity to Bakker didn’t mesh when the story broke and she came out in public looking a lot like a porno actress.

Betcha this woman is just as phony.
